Chapter 32 Stunning Invitation

In front of the Silent Grove Dungeon, large numbers of players were gathered, all surrounding the entrance.

Because the elite teams from all the major guilds in Willowbrook Town had arrived, and these elite teams were ready to challenge the Silent Grove Dungeon. These teams were far superior to the scattered elite squads, fully equipped with uniform Common Level equipment and even some Bronze Equipment.

"That's Steadfast Peak, the main MT of Crown of Paradise. I didn't expect him to come here. Now, the Silent Grove Dungeon will definitely be cleared."

"Crown of Paradise is nothing. They are just a third-rate guild. Look over there; the vice-captain of the Assassin Alliance elite team, Thornheart, is here, and next to him is the Guardian Knight named Battle Spirit. He is one of the top five knights in the Assassin Alliance, much better than Steadfast Peak."

The players engaged in discussions, expressing their optimism for the major guilds. After all, there were more than a dozen large and small guilds here, the most famous being the second-rate top guild Assassin Alliance, followed by the third-rate guild Crown of Paradise, and the rest were some unknown guilds.

However, these small guilds should not be underestimated because each guild had a studio behind it, and the players in the studios were highly paid experts, not comparable to ordinary high-level players.

In order to establish a reputation in Willowbrook Town, the major guilds saw the Silent Grove Dungeon, the first dungeon to appear in Willowbrook Town, as the best choice. They were well-prepared, having spent a lot of money on equipment and potions, and bought a lot of information about the Silent Grove Dungeon, giving them full confidence in conquering it.

"Skyweaver, the guild team's equipment is too luxurious. Now the Silent Grove Dungeon will definitely be cleared," said Priest Silent Summer Night with a somewhat sad expression.

Ranger Skyweaver crossed his arms and nodded slightly, speaking with a hint of helplessness, "Who would have thought the Silent Grove Dungeon would be so difficult? We didn't even see the Boss before we were wiped out. As a result, our small team became scouts for these guilds."

"What's so great about guild experts? Skyweaver, it's not that our skills aren't good enough; it's that this dungeon is too terrifying, and the equipment requirements are too high," said Shield Warrior Last Stand Warrior, pouting and disdainful. He still looked down on these guild experts, believing that the inability to clear the dungeon was due to equipment issues.

"Exactly, Skyweaver. If our team had such equipment, we would have cleared the Silent Grove Dungeon long ago," Silent Summer Night said confidently.

Speaking of conquering the dungeon, Silent Summer Night thought of Eric's team and said with a grin, "And we didn't come away empty-handed. Didn't we take down two Night Rabbits and get a Berserker skill book? We're much better than the team that 'newbie player' leads. They haven't shown up yet, perhaps because they felt embarrassed and ran away long ago. Poor Ezio. If he had joined Skyweaver, that skill book would have been his. If he knew, he would probably regret not joining us."

"Exactly, Ezio was too ungrateful. Now he must regret not following us into the dungeon," Last Stand Warrior laughed.

"Ezio's skills are still good, but that newbie player somehow hooked up with that expert named Tonny. However, even if that expert has great skills, with a bunch of rookies, the outcome would still be total annihilation. Now, he probably is too ashamed to appear. If he had joined us, maybe we would have cleared the Silent Grove Dungeon," Skyweaver said smugly, feeling secretly pleased.

"Skyweaver, look, the guilds are going in," Silent Summer Night said.

Just as everyone was watching the major guilds about to enter, the dungeon's teleportation gate suddenly changed color from silver-gray to pitch black, with a faintly roaring skull.

All the guild members couldn't help but take a few steps back.

"What's going on?"

Everyone had this question in their minds, but they quickly got an answer.

Six figures suddenly appeared at the dungeon entrance, all dressed in luxurious attire, giving off an oppressive aura even if they were just standing there, especially the Sorcerer with the black staff, whose dark gray equipment was clearly a set and looked far superior to Bronze Equipment.

"Why are there so many people?" Eric looked around and found that these people were all elite teams from various guilds. He was puzzled as to why they were all blocking the entrance.

His team looked a bit nervous, being watched by so many people, which felt as intimidating as facing a Boss.

"Skyweaver, isn't that the newbie player?" Silent Summer Night, who had sharp eyes, pointed at Eric.

Skyweaver frowned slightly. He saw not only Eric but also Ezio, and was very puzzled, "Why are they here? Didn't they leave long ago?"

"I think they didn't even enter the Silent Grove Dungeon forest. They must have known they couldn't clear the dungeon and been afraid of embarrassment, so they stayed inside and only came out now," Last Stand Warrior laughed, "This is going to be fun. Now, they came out and got caught right away. Look at Ezio's face. How embarrassed he is."

"As expected of newbie players, they didn't even have the courage to conquer the dungeon and came back, letting everyone know," Silent Summer Night pointed at Eric and laughed, almost rolling on the ground.

Skyweaver thought what Silent Summer Night said made sense. Otherwise, how could he explain why Eric's team returned unscathed? Having experienced the dungeon, they knew how terrifying the Silent Grove Dungeon was. Entering the forest meant either clearing the dungeon or being wiped out. There was no third possibility. Now that Eric's team had returned safely, there was only one explanation: they didn't enter the forest. Clearing the Silent Grove Dungeon was simply impossible.

While Skyweaver's team was mocking Eric's team, the surrounding players were also laughing hysterically, making Skyweaver's team feel very strange. Why were these people all laughing at Eric's team? Was Eric's team famous?

Skyweaver's team didn't know that after they entered the dungeon, Eric's team had already become famous in the Silent Grove Dungeon. A team mainly composed of level 1 newbie players attempting an Infernal-level dungeon was seen as a foolish endeavor, capturing the attention of others.

After all, bad news always traveled faster.

"Hahaha, that strange guy is back. I used to admire him, thinking they were badass for attempting the Infernal-level Silent Grove Dungeon. Turns out they were cowards."

"I can't take it anymore; my stomach hurts!"

The surrounding players, aware of the situation, understood Eric's team's actions. They knew it was foolish to attempt an Infernal-level dungeon, so they didn't go deep into the Silent Grove Dungeon but stayed at the entrance, waiting for a chance to sneak out.

Unfortunately, they were unlucky, getting caught by everyone as the major guilds were about to enter the dungeon.

"Eric, what's wrong with these people?" Tonny scratched his head in confusion as he saw the players around them laughing on the ground, "Are they insane? Why are they all rolling in the aisles?"

"Who knows? Maybe they go mad. It seems like they haven't played Divine Realms: Legends for long," Eric didn't think their actions had anything to do with their appearance, "Let's go; it's kind of creepy."

The rest of the team nodded. The players in the Silent Grove Dungeon were too peculiar.

"Please wait a moment."

Just as Eric's team was about to leave the dungeon entrance, a clear voice reached everyone's ears. They saw a beautiful and pure-looking girl in a white robe walking towards Eric's team.

Eric recognized her. She was Judy, one of the top hundred Priests in the Eldoria Kingdom. Judy walked up to Eric and appeared slightly embarrassed, her fair cheeks tinged with a blush. Softly, she spoke, "Hello, I'm Judy from Devouring Serpents. We met before entering the dungeon. Our team leader wants to talk to you about the Silent Grove Dungeon. I wonder if you're interested?"
