Chapter 276 Radiant Seraph Set

"Sure enough, it's locked," Eric said as he approached the Obsidian Level chest, finding that the purple-gold chest wouldn't open no matter what he tried.

So, he took out the key he had just obtained.

With a click, the purple-gold chest opened, and a dazzling array of colors burst forth, illuminating an area several hundred yards around. If this had happened in the Wilderness, such a commotion would surely attract many people to come and fight over it. But here in the Lost Land, it was just Eric and his two companions, so there was no worry about others discovering it.

After the colorful light vanished, Eric reached into the chest and found that there were very few items inside.

There were only three items in total, two of which were pieces of equipment, both Obsidian Level, and one was a forging design book.

The two pieces of Obsidian Level equipment were the Crystal Guardian Armor and the Blitzkrieg Boots.

Crystal Guardian Armor, plate armor, chest piece, Obsidian Level, equipment level 20, class restriction: Swordsman, equipment requirements: Strength 120, Agility 140, Defense +212, Strength +24, Agility +21, Stamina +20, with a passive skill Agile Burst. Each time damage is taken, Strength and Agility increase by 2%, stacking up to 5 times, lasting 15 seconds.

The base attributes of this equipment are quite good, but the real power lies in the passive skill. It effectively increases Strength and Agility by 10%, which, if the user's attributes are high enough, is equivalent to having an extra piece of equipment. The only issue is that it requires taking damage five times, which isn't very useful in boss fights but offers unparalleled advantages in farming mobs and PvP.

Blitzkrieg Boots, leather armor, footgear, Obsidian Level, equipment level 20, equipment requirements: Strength 90, Agility 130, Defense +143, Strength +20, Agility +26, Stamina +18, Movement +10, Evasion +7, with a passive skill Swift, increasing movement speed by 12% and Agility by 8%.

For the Assassin and Ranger classes, the primary attribute to pursue is Agility, followed by Strength. These boots push Agility to the extreme, making them unmatched by any other level 20 dark gold boots in terms of Agility enhancement.

Although these two pieces of Obsidian Level equipment are excellent, they don't quite justify the value of this dark gold chest.

The real highlight of the Obsidian Level chest is the forging design book, and it's an Adamantite forging design book. Unlike design diagrams, which can only be used to make a single piece of equipment, a design book can be used to create a set.

This forging design book can be used to create a level 20 Radiant Seraph Set, consisting of six pieces of equipment, all wearable by plate armor classes.

Previously, Eric had spent over a hundred gold to buy an Adamantite Arcane Sentinel design diagram at the Shadowwing Auction House. The value of the Arcane Sentinel design diagram pales in comparison to the Radiant Seraph Set because the latter is an Adamantite set.

In all of Eldoria, no guild has yet acquired a Mithril Level Outfit, so the value of an Adamantite set is self-evident.

If they could produce several Radiant Seraph Sets and equip all the plate armor classes in the guild's main team, the sight of them walking down the street would be intimidating. Just the thought of it was thrilling.

However, making the Radiant Seraph Set is extremely difficult because it's a set, and the difficulty is comparable to making Obsidian Level equipment.

Eric is currently just an advanced forging apprentice. Without significantly improving his forging skills, attempting to make the Radiant Seraph Set would be a waste of materials.

At the very least, he would need to advance to an intermediate or advanced Blacksmith to have a decent chance of successfully making the Radiant Seraph Set.

"Once we get back, I need to seriously improve my forging skills," Eric thought as he looked at the design book, formulating a plan.

Eric then gave the Blitzkrieg Boots to FlameDancer, who was already level 19 and not far from reaching level 20. Eric kept the Crystal Guardian Armor and the design book for himself.

After a brief rest, the three of them entered the crystal passage.

This crystal passage was incredibly long, stretching out of sight. The magical elements inside the passage were exceptionally dense, even manifesting like auroras, creating a breathtaking spectacle. At the same time, everyone received a buff that increased all magical damage by 300%, indicating just how dense the magical elements were here.

Unconsciously, Eric and his companions walked along the passage for over an hour, finally arriving at the base of a mountain.

Upon seeing the mountain, the three of them were stunned.

"Could this all be Arcane Crystal?" Rosewater exclaimed, looking at the crystal mountain in front of them, utterly shocked.

Rosewater had been to the auction house in Shadowwing Citadel and had seen Arcane Crystal before.

It was well known that Arcane Crystal was one of the best magical stones in Divine Realms: Legends. Not only was it extremely rare, but it was also incredibly expensive. Even a large city like Silvervale City, with a population of over a million, couldn't afford to use it. Only the royal palace and the Eldoria Auction House used Arcane Crystal to make floating staircases.

Rosewater had initially thought these crystals were Sorcerous Crystal, but now, seeing this mountain, Rosewater was certain it wasn't. Sorcerous Crystal couldn't possibly make the magical elements in this area so dense that they formed a colorful magical cloud.

"It should be," Eric nodded suddenly.

The thought of so much Arcane Crystal made Eric's heart race.

In the market, an Arcane Crystal the size of a small house could easily buy a large town with a population of fifty thousand. The Arcane Crystal in front of them was a mountain, roughly the size of Silvervale City.

A city made entirely of Arcane Crystal—what a concept! Even selling all of Eldoria wouldn't be enough to buy this much Arcane Crystal.

Unfortunately, they couldn't take any of it with them, not even a small piece.

To mine Arcane Crystal, one needed at least a master-level mining skill. Eric was just a beginner apprentice in mining, so attempting to mine it was a pipe dream.

Seeing Arcane Crystal, which was worth more than gold, right in front of him, but being unable to take any of it made Eric's heart ache.

But there was nothing they could do. Who could have expected to find Arcane Crystal in this place?

Eric shook his head to clear his thoughts and saw a staircase leading to the mountain top not far away. He said, "Let's go up the mountain and take a look. The place to break the seal might be up there."

FlameDancer didn't know much about Arcane Crystal, so he wasn't particularly moved. He was just awestruck by the beauty of the mountain. But Rosewater knew better. If FlameDancer hadn't nudged Rosewater to wake him up, Rosewater might still be lost in the shock.

After all, it was all gold.

If they could chip off even a small piece, it would be enough to make a First-rate Guild wealthy.

As the three of them climbed the stairs up the mountain, Eric suddenly felt the pressure increasing. This pressure was identical to what he had felt at Violet Mistflow Manor, but now it was even greater.

By the time Eric reached the mountain top, he was drenched in sweat, his body feeling as heavy as lead. If Eric felt this way, FlameDancer and Rosewater were even worse off. They were already collapsed on the ground, unable to move a step, leaving Eric to walk alone to a massive stone monument not far ahead.

Just looking at the monument, Eric could feel that it was the center of this world. All the magical power came from this monument, not from the Arcane Crystal.

When Eric reached the monument, he saw numerous golden divine runes carved at its base, the most complex he had ever seen. Inside the monument, a figure appeared and disappeared intermittently.

When Eric finally saw the figure clearly, his eyes widened in shock, unable to believe what he was seeing.

He had seen this figure before.

But Eric couldn't understand why it was here.
