Chapter 331 Dusty Secret Warehouse
Rogue Vortex felt a surge of anxiety at the thought.
"Hurry up and lure more monsters for me. Those Aether Wing people want to surpass me and kick me out of the Honor Board. They're dreaming. I won't give up this spot to anyone," Rogue Vortex ordered again, his eyes flashing with a bloodthirsty light.
Immediately, a group of Rangers and Assassins went to lure monsters, while the other magic-based AoE classes sped up their attacks. Rogue Vortex, who was not in the team, also rushed in to finish off the monsters, taking most of the experience without having to share it with the others.
This method of leveling up was extremely extravagant. Even elite teams constantly farming wild monsters couldn't match this leveling speed.
However, Rogue Vortex didn't know that the monsters he and the Aether Wing members were farming were on completely different levels.
Rogue Vortex was farming ordinary level 20 monsters with no experience bonus, while the Aether Wing hundred-member team was farming level 30 elite NPCs. These elite NPCs were already incredibly rich in experience, not to mention the bonus experience for killing monsters 10 levels higher. Even if the experience was shared among a hundred people, they were leveling up faster than Rogue Vortex.
Time flew by, and the night in Silvervale City was bustling. Even though it was already daytime in reality, many players hadn't logged off and were still playing Divine Realms: Legends. However, going out of the city to kill monsters was dangerous, so they stayed in the city bars, drinking and chatting.
With nothing else to do, everyone was very interested in whether the Aether Wing members could kick Rogue Vortex out of the Honor Board.
Especially the level rankings of the Aether Wing members.
More than an hour had passed, and the Guild of Aether Wing had gradually moved from occupying the last seventy spots to the last forty spots on the Honor Board, their speed of advancement astonishing everyone.
Many people initially thought this was just speculation and jokes, not to be taken seriously.
But seeing this momentum, it seemed the Aether Wing members were really going to dominate the top hundred spots on the Honor Board.
This made everyone a bit excited.
If the Guild of Aether Wing really achieved this, then those players who liked to play solo would have to seriously consider one thing.
Should they join the Guild of Aether Wing?
Meanwhile, in a bar, the members of the Order of the Holy Grail Knights were also drinking and celebrating.
Today, they had cleared a level 15 twenty-man Adversity-level dungeon, Blood Tooth Fortress, and obtained a lot of equipment and materials.
"GrayWolfSkyborne, Aether Wing is really something. First, they defeated the Supremacy Alliance, then they killed Darkstar Guild's Rogue Vortex, and now they're about to kick Rogue Vortex out of the Honor Board and dominate the level rankings. Maybe soon, Aether Wing will be the rulers of Silvervale City," one of the Order of the Holy Grail Knights members said.
The leader of the Order of the Holy Grail Knights, GrayWolfSkyborne, shook his head and said, "It's still too early to say. The other top six guilds are not pushovers and won't let Aether Wing develop unchecked. But Aether Wing does have some skills. We underestimated them before."
GrayWolfSkyborne hadn't said much when a few players in black cloaks walked into the bar. Their equipment caught everyone's attention; they were all wearing Mithril Level gear, and none of them had any guild emblems. The leading player was a female Summoner.
If Eric were here, he would recognize that this female Summoner was Orchid from The Stygian Alliance.
"GrayWolfSkyborne, long time no see," Orchid said with a bright smile as she walked up to GrayWolfSkyborne.
"It really has been a long time. You used to be a pure and lovely girl, and now you've become a beautiful woman feared by everyone. Time is truly amazing," GrayWolfSkyborne said, looking at the elegant Orchid in front of him.
"You're joking. I have you to thank for all of this," Orchid said, glancing around the room with a faint smile. "It's been so many years. I want to have a good chat with you. This place is too crowded. Why don't we go upstairs and find a room to talk privately?"
"Indeed, it's been so many years. We should have a chat," GrayWolfSkyborne said, spending 5 silver coins to rent a room on the second floor, and then headed upstairs.
Orchid followed him, and the players in black cloaks stood guard at the staircase, not allowing anyone else to go up. The bar fell silent, with only the members of the Order of the Holy Grail Knights and the other patrons left in a daze, not understanding what had just happened.
The leader of a wild team could actually have such a connection with a noble and elegant beauty, and even rent a private room to chat. Everyone couldn't help but fantasize.
Not far from Stream Town, Rosewater and others were still continuously farming Blood Hand Society NPCs, leveling up rapidly.
There were over two thousand NPCs in Stream Town, and it wasn't easy to kill them all. Tonny's Luminous Celestialflare had a long cooldown, and relying solely on the other Aether Wing members' attacks wasn't very effective. The main damage came from the level 50 first-tier guards, but these Blood Hand Society NPCs could heal, and there were even level 50 Blood Hand Society elites among them. Clearing them all wasn't something that could be done quickly.
Seeing that the situation was stable, Eric said in the group chat, "Cola and Violet Mistflow, come with me to the Blood Hand Society's base. The rest of you keep farming here."
"President, you're so biased. I helped you before, so why are you only taking Violet Mistflow and not me?" SnowGoose pouted.
"We're going to the Blood Hand Society's base, not for fun. Do you really want to go?" Eric said with a wry smile.
Eric didn't take others with him for a reason. The raid mission wasn't easy. FlameDancer and the others had only lured away the town guards' NPCs. There were still many Blood Hand Society NPCs guarding the base. They were just going to scout the area.
"Is it dangerous?" SnowGoose asked, tilting her head.
"Of course," Eric nodded seriously.
"Then forget it. I can't compare to Violet Mistflow's survival skills. It would be a pity if my Adamantite staff got destroyed," SnowGoose said, thinking it over.
Eric then took Cola and Violet Mistflow to the Blood Hand Society's base in Stream Town.
As the base of the Blood Hand Society, it was usually heavily guarded, but now there wasn't a single NPC. Eric and his team easily entered the base.
Inside the towering tower-like building, it was lavishly decorated, completely unlike the impoverished Stream Town.
"Everyone, be careful. This is the Blood Hand Society's headquarters, so there will definitely be traps," Eric reminded.
In the previous life, the Supremacy Alliance of Silvervale City had suffered heavy losses trying to capture Stream Town, losing over six thousand first-tier players, with less than a thousand surviving. Nearly half of them died in the Blood Hand Society's base, many falling to traps. This showed how formidable the traps in the Blood Hand Society's headquarters were.
Although the Supremacy Alliance paid a heavy price, the rewards were equally astonishing.
Especially the Dusty Secret Warehouse beneath the Blood Hand Society's headquarters.
One of the main reasons major guilds liked to capture and occupy towns was for the treasures of these dark forces. Different towns had varying amounts of treasure, but the Blood Hand Society's treasure was no small amount. Even if the rewards from the raid mission were limited, it was enough to tempt Eric.
Otherwise, who would be foolish enough to spend 30 gold coins to accept a raid mission, and such a mission could only be accepted by a viscount.
