Chapter 253 Five Demon Generals

"Perfect!" Otto had a smile on his face, but his words cut like a December chill.

Even an idiot could see Otto was livid.

Since it was a phone call, the others couldn't hear what the bodyguard said, but Otto’s tone made it clear someone had seriously messed up.

Neither John nor Ken had the guts to throw out invited guests. In life, maintaining face is crucial, and doing that would be a direct slap to Otto's face. Since this person dared to slap Otto's face, did they really expect him to greet them with a smile?

Ken and John felt a lot of sympathy for whoever had ticked Otto off.

That move was seriously boneheaded.

Still, they were dying to know who had the audacity to kick out invited guests and wanted to find out who it was.

"Heath, come here." Otto called to Heath, who stood there clueless.

Heath didn’t get it. He thought Otto had some instructions for him and didn’t realize Otto's anger was aimed at him.

"Go downstairs and bring the person up. If he doesn’t want to come, then you don’t need to come back up either," Otto said icily.

"Principal, I...," Heath was completely lost and didn’t know what was going on.

"You’ll understand once you go downstairs,” Otto said, glancing at the bodyguard next to him. The bodyguard got the message and grabbed Heath, leading him towards the elevator.

"Otto, there has to be some misunderstanding. Really, I didn’t do anything," Heath’s chubby body trembled as he shouted repeatedly, completely clueless about what he'd done wrong.

Kicking out guests? Even if he had a hundred times the guts, he wouldn’t dare. He was just a student, and all the invited guests were way out of his league. How could he muster the nerve to pull something like that?

If he had kicked anyone out, it had to be Eric.

But Eric was just a nobody student, not a guest. Heath couldn’t connect this mess with Eric.

“Man, this kid’s got some nerve,” Ken said, his tone vague but everyone knew what he meant.

The bystanders quickly pieced it together—Heath was the one who did it.

They were shocked. Heath was merely the student council president, and a little bit of power had him flirting with disaster. If he didn’t handle this perfectly, his best bet might be to leave Evergreen City, or his future looked bleak.

Meanwhile, at the Aether Wing recruitment booth, it had become the buzz of the street. Without realizing it, Eric had recruited quite a few people, including some well-known studios from Evergreen City. These studios had decent members but lacked top-tier leaders, which made it nearly impossible for them to secure good equipment in Divine Realms: Legends.

Good gear usually came from dungeons, with some from Wilderness Bosses, a luxury for studios without a guild.

This made it tough for studios to profit from Divine Realms: Legends, so they were all eager to join a guild, especially a strong one. With top players leading, dungeons became manageable, and they could learn a lot from the experts, much better than fumbling on their own.

Aether Wing Guild was undoubtedly the top choice in Evergreen City.

Because there wasn’t a leading major guild in Evergreen City, it was currently in a pretty sad state.

If ShadowForge Studios hadn't spent a fortune to merge with many studios and recruit some promising newcomers, becoming a third-rate guild, they would have fallen in the Silvervale City competition. This was the harsh reality of Divine Realms: Legends.

"The Five Demon Generals haven't shown up yet. Are they not interested in joining Aether Wing?" Eric had interviewed hundreds of people, but none of them were one of ShadowForge Studios' Five Demon Generals.

The Five Demon Generals of ShadowForge Studios were the top five experts in the ShadowForge Guild. If not limited by ShadowForge Studios, they could have advanced to fourth-tier professions or higher.

The ShadowForge Guild's eventual possession of ten city-states was largely due to these five.

Eric's main purpose for attending this event was to recruit these five.

"Could it be that they don't dare to come?" Eric thought it was very likely. After all, these five were still unknown, insignificant figures and naturally wouldn't think they could join the Guild of Aether Wing, so they simply didn't come to avoid embarrassment.

This made things difficult for Eric.

These five were likely at the event, but he couldn't just go up to them. How could he recruit them?

As Eric was troubled, Heath and the others approached.

"How could it be you?" Heath was stunned when he saw that the invitee was Eric, his expression frozen.

In Heath's eyes, Eric was just an ordinary student. How could he be personally invited by Otto? The difference in their statuses was like heaven and earth, completely different worlds, yet it was happening right in front of him...

Eric turned his gaze to the shocked Heath and smiled, "Mr. Carter, what brings you here? Are you planning to kick me off this street again?"

"Misunderstanding, it's all a misunderstanding, Eric. How could I dare to kick you out? This was all a system error that caused your information not to be logged. Now everything is fine. Eric, you can go up and join the event now," Heath said with a forced smile.

"Mr. Carter, I'm a very timid person. You said before that if I dared to take a step closer, you'd kick me out. I don't dare to cross you. I think staying here is just fine. If you have nothing else, please leave. I'm very busy here," Eric smiled and ignored Heath.

Hearing Eric's words, Heath's face turned pale. Even an idiot could tell there was more to Eric's words.

He had kicked him out without a word before, and now he wanted to invite him back just like that? Was that possible?

Heath really wanted to say it was possible.

Otto had already spoken. As a student council president, if he didn't handle this well, his life would be over. And with Otto's terrifying methods, Heath didn't dare to think about his future.

Seeing the bodyguard beside him staring coldly, Heath trembled and immediately did something that shocked Eric.

Heath knelt directly in front of Eric, hugging his leg and crying, "Eric, I was wrong. I deserve to die. I was blind to listen to that bastard Bob. I apologize. I'm not human. If it will make you feel better, just hit me. As long as you're willing to go up."

Not only was Eric stunned, but everyone around was also dumbfounded.

Truly, when a person is shameless, they are invincible!
