Led by Caleb, the crowd slowly walked towards Elbert and Eric at the corner of the rooftop. Caleb cleared his throat and smiled at Elbert, waving his hand in front of him as if treating him like a blind man.
Caleb called out, "Elbert, it's me, Caleb. Do you still remember me? We were college classmates."
Elbert took a drag on his cigarette, slightly raised his head, but said nothing. The crowd burst into laughter, clearly finding Caleb's actions amusing.
Seeing Elbert not respond, Caleb turned to Eric with a smile. "Eric, why are you hanging out with him? Join us. With his condition, can you even have a conversation with him?"
The crowd laughed again, but Eric raised his head, frowning. He bit down hard on his cigarette. "Caleb, are you out of your mind? What do you mean by that?"
Caleb was stunned.
Eric slowly stood up, his face full of anger. "Are you all out of your mind? Imitating high society to mock common folks? Do you think you are some big shots? Leave us alone!"
The crowd was startled by Eric's sudden outburst. They knew Eric had a fiery temper and couldn't stand injustice. Otherwise, he wouldn't have given up a promising business career right after graduation to join the Cybersecurity Bureau.
In a way, Eric was also a cop—a cyber cop.
"What are you waiting for? Move along!" Eric put his hands on his hips and glared. The crowd was really scared.
They knew if they really pissed him off, he might beat them up on the spot.
"Eric, you're so rude!" Caleb trembled with anger, pointing at Eric, but didn't dare step forward.
"Forget it, Caleb, let's go drink!" The crowd pulled Caleb away together.
Eric sneered and sat back down. "Elbert, I'm telling you, the best way to deal with people like them is to curse them out directly. These so-called high society types are just cowards with a tough exterior!"
Suddenly, there was a commotion in the distance. "Alvin is here! Mr. Weaver is here! Long time no see, Alvin!"

Alvin quickly organized the luncheon. Ten minutes later, everyone gathered in front of a small stage—specially set up by Alvin for the reunion speeches!
Caleb had been unamiously chosen to be the host for this reunion. He held the microphone and slowly walked onto the stage.
"Today is our annual reunion! I'm very excited! First, let's thank our sponsor, Alvin!" Thunderous applause followed. "Just now, we toured Creator Company, and I was amazed by the technology and luxury here! This is exactly the company I've always dreamed of, and now I am in awe of my classmate Alvin!"
Then, Caleb said solemnly, "Next, we'll start the first part of our reunion, where everyone will introduce their recent achievements! Of course, Alvin's speech will be saved for last as the highlight!"

"Yeah, Mr. Weaver just needs to give me some pointers later; no introduction is needed!"
Alvin smiled slightly and said nothing. He really didn't need to introduce himself. But this part was crucial because he would announce the true owner of the Creator Company!
Then, one by one, classmates eagerly took the stage.
"Hello, everyone. Remember me? I started my chain restaurant three years ago, and now we have 30 locations across seven cities!"
