Walter and Briana finally parted reluctantly after a while. Briana then approached Elbert nervously.
"Mr. Paul, I would like to speak with you alone," she said.

She paused and then added coldly. "It's best not to leave your home."
This caught Elbert off guard. He hadn't paid much attention to Walter's girlfriend before, but her words were significant. The next three days were exactly when an assassin was supposed to target him.
Elbert quickly reviewed the information about Briana in his mind:

His eyes narrowed slightly.
Binnyburg Medical College had come up three times: the place where Jessica Brown studied, where the assassin Spade 9 was treated, and where Briana graduated.

Briana's eyelid twitched violently, a small expression instantly captured by Robert.
"Spade 9, Card Club, when you mentioned these terms, her eyelid twitched. According to subconscious psychology, she is familiar with these terms and is extremely shocked. You guessed right, she is connected to the Card Club!" Robert reported.
Briana was stunned for a full minute.

"I'm not who you think I am!" Briana said fearfully, quickly shoving the business card into Elbert's hand. "With your status, you will soon understand what I do."
Briana took a few steps back, adding, "Also, you misunderstood my relationship with Walter. I truly love him!"
Elbert smiled lightly. "Of course, I know. Fortunately, you're just a doctor. Otherwise, I will make you disappear by tomorrow!"
Briana shivered instantly, glancing at Elbert in horror before turning to leave. Watching her retreating figure, Elbert crumpled the business card in his hand.
He had figured it out: Briana was working for a human modification organization and was connected to the Card Club.
"Human modification had indeed infiltrated real life." He sighed.
"Robert, keep an eye on her. I want to find her backers."
"Got it."
After seeing off Briana and her mother, Elbert and Walter walked side by side as if nothing had happened.
Elbert sighed slightly. "Walter, your girlfriend is quite something."
"Of course, she's my goddess!" Walter said, full of happiness. "Oh, by the way, boss, are you planning to have me in charge of developing the live streaming feature?"
Elbert smirked. "Of course, villas are very expensive! You need to do more to earn it!"
