Chapter 306 Advancing the Entity

"Plus, Paul Two's your kid, our future boss. Gotta show some respect," Mad Bull said, and the Black Fox crew behind him all nodded.

He suggested it himself?

Elbert slowly turned to look at the 4-year-old kid flashing a fake smile.

Elbert joked, "You're fitting in quite well, huh? Already turned into a mob boss?"

The young boy smirked slightly, "What choice do I have? Born into a crime family. Besides, you're the one setting the example."

Elbert rubbed his forehead.

"Elbert," Melissa walked over gracefully and gave a slight bow, "The factory's cranked out a bunch of prototypes for the smart stores. We've been testing and researching. Didn't expect Dennis to be a whiz at this; he's even training us on these gadgets."

Elbert was a bit taken aback. This kid's talent in electronics and mechanics had shown up before.

But, come on, he was only 4!

Elbert pretended to frown, "I'll give you 3 minutes to wash off that tattoo."

"This is a ink transfer, stuck on my skin, can't wash it off in 3 minutes," Dennis pouted.

Elbert was speechless, "Then wash it off whenever you can before coming back. Mad Bull, take him!"

"Yes, sir. Dennis, let's go," Mad Bull replied.

Watching Dennis pick up the little boy and leave, Elbert sighed again.

He never thought the mighty Paul Two would get talked back to in front of the Black Fox gang.

After that, Elbert gathered Melissa, the core Black Fox members, Elowen, and some reformed bosses from Wavehaven for a meeting.

He was about to roll out the smart physical industry plan!

The meeting room was packed again because Elowen had brought over a dozen network techs she pre-recruited.

What surprised Elbert was how pumped these people were.

After half a month of research, they all thought the project's future was limitless. Even the dozen or so uneducated gang leaders were wide-eyed with excitement.

In their minds, these tech gadgets would definitely draw in a ton of young people.

Transforming their spots into hotels, restaurants, etc., spending some cash on renovations. Then trading shares with Paul Two for equipment and placing one or two employees in each store, it could work out.

For example, that hotel, from the smart front desk to the automatic luggage cart, to the full voice control of room appliances, and the smart cleaning robots!

Even changing bed sheets, there were specialized robots to take them to the washing machine and then put on new ones.

As for the employees, they only needed to check daily!

And that restaurant, it was even equipped with a mechanical chef, and employees only needed to place the ingredients in the machine daily.

It could cook according to the customer's electronic order!

What blew their minds was that Paul Two was also a total master in culinary arts.

He personally wrote the menu, with a whopping three hundred dishes.

A bunch of folks had already tried the robot chef's cooking, and it turned out to be pretty darn tasty.

Besides the mechanical chef, serving and cleaning in the restaurant were all handled by robots.

The human staff just needed to do daily maintenance.

Right now, these robot prototypes were all set up on site. They looked kinda clunky and cute, mostly running on tracks and wheels.

The mechanical arms were just multi-directional claws, which Elbert specifically designed that way.

Elbert didn't go for super futuristic designs. He wanted these things to fit in with the times.

Even so, the design of these robots still blew away countless manufacturers.

Dennis, who got bored of gang life in just one day, was totally hooked on this stuff, couldn't get enough.

Everyone could picture these machines creating a mesmerizing tech scene.

The meeting room went silent. Everyone was looking at Elbert with curiosity and awe.

But Elbert's next words shocked them even more!

"This isn't really the so-called smart era," Elbert said, walking slowly among the machines with his hands behind his back, "If we classify it by levels, this is probably the smart 1.0 era. To reach a truly revolutionary stage, we need to iterate to at least 5.0! Deploying these machines is just the beginning. I consider it a pilot. Behind these machines, there's a unified system controlling them, called 'waiter'. Of course, you can also think of 'waiter' as a new artificial intelligence. And the progress of AI relies on continuous learning and data acquisition."

Elbert continued, "When it collects enough data, it can improve itself, adjusting the best operation accuracy, timing, strength, etc. And establish more character profiles, including differences between people, personal credit information, and so on! More importantly, its intelligence level will gradually increase and its service quality will gradually improve!"

The room fell silent, and everyone had different expressions now.

The dozen network techs Elowen brought were flushed and excited.

They thought these things were just mechanical assembly lines before coming. But they didn't expect there to be a centralized system behind it.

They knew that the 'waiter' was a groundbreaking creation.

Undoubtedly, it was essentially a prototype of artificial intelligence, truly capable of interconnecting with thousands of machines, capturing information, and self-evolving.

Unimaginable! Wasn't Paul Two a gang leader? How did he pull this off?

This research result would shock the world!

As for the gang leaders and Black Fox members, they were all dizzy and didn't understand a word.

But they were sure of one thing: Paul Two was awesome.
