Chapter 516 Invitation
In the Lab Graveyard.
Four figures stood in front of an empty wall.
The first was Willow, 15 feet tall, with a bathtub full of water balanced on its head.
Holding it steady with both claws, body straight.
The second was Dennis, with a basin on his head, holding it with both hands.
The third and fourth were Willow's two cubs, each with a coffee cup balanced on their heads.
Standing in a row, being punished!
They stared at the man in white in the middle of the space.
Elbert's voice came, "You two didn't do anything wrong, you don't need to stand there."
The two little cubs looked at Willow in confusion. They didn't know what was going on either, but ever since their master came back, the atmosphere had been very serious.
Willow let out a low growl.
The two cubs clumsily knocked the coffee cups off their heads, shattering them, and slowly crawled over to Elbert's side, declaring their allegiance. They immediately looked at Dennis with scrutinizing eyes.
"Hmm..."
Elbert weighed the broom in his hand and swung it hard!
Crack!
The broom snapped in mid-air!
Elbert muttered to himself, "Not the right tool."
Then Elbert found a mop.
Crack!
The mop broke again!
"This is already the smallest amount of force I can control, but it's still not working!"
Elbert shook his head and found a chair!
Crack!
He swung it, and the chair shattered too!
With no other choice, Elbert found a large metal wrench, over 3 feet long!
He made a swinging motion, and with a crisp sound, the wrench also broke in half!
Dennis's face twitched, shrouded in fear. He forced a smile and said, "Violent Bear, I don't think there's any tool in this room that'll work for you. How about you find a legendary weapon some other day, then come back to carry out this completely negligible family discipline."
Elbert shook his head. "Today I paid the school nearly five million dollars in compensation. Good thing Leonard helped smooth things over with the principal. Good thing the kids' parents don't believe Willow exists!"
As Elbert spoke, he slowly dragged out a 10-foot-long steel rod, as thick as a bowl!
Dennis froze. Is he going to kill me?
Robert: "Elbert, you can't control your basic strength right now."
"According to my calculations, to make Dennis's butt reach the appropriate degree of blooming, you must wear my Hell Vest!"
Elbert thought to himself, "I just want to scare him, I can't really hit him."
Robert: "Then put it on slowly."
"Good idea."
Elbert nodded and went to the side of the mechanical assembly line, where there was a 3D printing chamber.
It was often used to manufacture mechanical parts.
Elbert looked at the Hell Vest in the printing chamber and paused slightly!
It no longer looked like clothing.
Instead, it resembled the meridians of a human body—overall, it was still shaped like a human form!
Elbert looked closer.
These complex meridians were actually strips of thin metal, all with winding right angles, with chip modules scattered throughout!
Robert's voice was somewhat excited. "Now, let me proudly introduce to you my Hell Vest 2.0!"
"It's upgraded from the globally leading 'electronic tattoo' technology!"
"It's actually an ultra-thin circuit that can be directly attached to the human body surface, with its own power source and adjustment modules!"
"For you, it can control your muscle strength from 0.001% to 100%!"
"For others, it can monitor health data like heartbeat and blood pressure, function as a skin phone, and serve as a portable computer!"
"If you connect it to a brain-computer interface, it's like a little Robert!"
Elbert's eyes narrowed as he nodded repeatedly.
This electronic skin would definitely become a major trend in human technological development!
Replacing phones, surpassing virtual screens, gradually becoming humanity's ultimate wearable device!
Robert added, "However, this requires fully understanding the secrets of the human brain and achieving a brain-computer interface! Right now, I can only control it through network signals!"
Elbert thought for a moment. "Robert, aren't you connected to my brain nerves?"
"Well..."
"I'm just a weak AI right now. Even though I can implement this technology, I don't know how it works either!"
Elbert couldn't help but think of the name Gordon Cunningham signed on Robert's program code.
This name was mysterious and puzzling. He couldn't figure it out.
Elbert sighed softly. "Human technological development still needs to progress step by step. The Twin app's wearable virtual screen is more suitable as humanity's next revolution."
Robert: "Electronic tattoo technology is indeed quite a leap, but technology has always bordered on the mystical. Just like people 50 years ago wouldn't believe today's smartphones, they could never dream that this little square could connect the entire world!"
Then.
Elbert opened the chamber door, preparing to put on this 'Hell Vest 2.0' that was two levels ahead of public technology!
Just then, there was a knock at the door, gentle and polite.
The scene outside the door immediately appeared in Elbert's vision, and he paused slightly.
He slowly walked past the two figures standing in the corner with basins on their heads.
He pushed open the door.
Outside stood a handsome young man in a black classical robe with short hair.
"Elbert, I am Terry Miller from the Miller family."
The smiling young man before him was the Miller family member who had once guarded Mr. Fields.
Elbert nodded slightly.
Terry continued, "On orders from my family's leader, Terry brings you an invitation."
As he spoke, he extended a delicate wooden box, about the size and thickness of a book.
"You can open it and take a look."
Terry maintained his polite smile throughout.
An invitation?
Elbert smiled calmly, unafraid of whatever was coming.
He slowly opened the wooden box to find a smooth silver metal cube inside, quite exquisite.
Elbert held it in his hand and examined it.
He discovered it was a classical Veridanian game, Rush Hour.
Terry smiled and said, "Mr. Perry, inside the Rush Hour is the invitation from our family's leader. You can use your intelligence to retrieve it."
"But I must remind you that an ordinary Rush Hour only has ten pieces, while this Miller family version, which our leader plays with regularly, has a total of 52 pieces."
"Of course."
Terry's eyes held deeper meaning. "If you don't wish to follow protocol, you can also use brute force to break it!"
Robert: "Good grief, 52 pieces means theoretically 52 to the 52nd power variations, multiplied by 4 movement directions!"
"The Miller family's leader is really unconventional, sending an invitation this way?"
Elbert held the Rush Hour and slowly moved it behind his back, smiling. "But don't worry, using brute force would be disrespectful to this ancient Veridanian civilization."
"The leader recently came out of seclusion and will stay for about a month. I wonder if Mr. Perry can pay a visit?"
Terry smiled lightly.
His words had an underlying meaning—if Elbert couldn't solve this 52-piece Rush Hour within a month, he wouldn't even be qualified to meet the leader!
Elbert smiled calmly. "Should be possible."
Terry nodded. "Then I'll take my leave."
But the next moment.
Terry, who was about to turn around, frowned slightly.
From Elbert's hand behind his back came a rapid clicking sound!
He was rapidly moving the Rush Hour pieces!
And the sound had become a continuous line!
Very fast!
Faster than humanly possible!
Terry was somewhat shocked!
But after just a few dozen seconds!
Elbert extended both hands.
The Rush Hour in his hands was giving off heat from the high-speed friction!
And the key piece had already been extracted by Elbert, lying flat in his palm!
