Chapter 276 Initial Abilities
After everything was set up, everyone set off to their own path, leaving just Summer and Quentin giving each other the usual stare-down at the door.
Deep in the Lab Graveyard, Elbert had first put the Lizard Man blood sample on the shelf.
By now, there were already three blood samples up there, Chain Bridge with metal manipulation powers, Black and White Joker with regeneration abilities and Lizard Man, with radiation resistance.
Elbert stood there, staring at the three lead containers, each as big as a fridge.
In his head, he was working out the design for a small radiation space with Robert Williams.
Two hours later, he had the design all figured out in his mind when there was a knock at the door.
The stuff Robert Williams had ordered online showed up.
For the next two days, Elbert worked solo in the Lab Graveyard, starting from scratch to build the radiation space. It was a tough project, needing not just precise instruments but also careful control of radiation spread.
Four days later, Elbert finished a diamond-shaped structure, 13 feet long and wide! It was made entirely of 1.3-foot-thick lead, blocking most of the radiation spread.
Radium was already set up inside, and a decay suppressor was in place to slow down the radiation spread.
Three virtual screens floated inside the space.
Elbert took a deep breath and put the Chain Bridge blood sample into the analyzer.
After 30 seconds, the screen showed the corresponding DNA structure chain while another screen displayed Elbert's own DNA structure chain.
Elbert banged the heavy lead door of the radiation space shut from the inside.
The third screen lit up, showing a complex and intricate DNA structure chain, slowly rotating.
This was the second stage of the new human's limit release! Simulated by Robert Williams, it was almost a perfect DNA chain! More importantly, it was super powerful and highly adaptable, able to simulate any other DNA chain and mimic any ability.
Elbert needed to use the ionizing effect of strong radiation on DNA to transform his own DNA according to the second stage of the new human.
Then, he would try to simulate the DNA structures of Chain Bridge and others to gain their abilities.
Robert Williams said, "Elbert, the radium we have now is probably not enough to support your evolution, but we can try to confirm if the technology works!"
Elbert nodded slightly.
In the next moment, the device kicked in and the high-concentration radiation from the radium filled the entire radiation space without any block!
It passed through Elbert's body, bounced off the lead walls, and kept bouncing around!

"We can't keep this up, your body won't handle it!" he added.
Elbert gritted his teeth, struggling to look at the DNA that was only one-tenth transformed, "Don't stop. Let's try to simulate Chain Bridge's DNA!"
Robert Williams replied, "You can only hold on for another 70 seconds!"
Elbert's eyes widened, "Give it a shot!"
The radiation intensified again.
In Elbert's eyes, it seemed like he could see tangible ripples! Robert Williams didn't stop either.

A drop of liquid separated from the surface, floated in the air, and then fell back down.
It looked very eerie. In the glass box with no one around, the liquid inexplicably churned and boiled!
Elbert frowned again and whispered, "Rise!"
The small pool of liquid metal instantly formed a sharp cone, breaking through the glass box and flying into the air!
