Just then, Gary, standing a bit away, had a glint in his eye and shouted, "Start the injection!"
And next, 283 experimental chairs tilted back in sync.
The mechanical injectors above the warriors' right arms kicked in, carefully controlling the potion as it slowly flowed into their veins.

"Jeffery, we got a problem!"
The radar operator, clutching a radar display tablet, rushed to Jeffery. "Sir, we've picked up a bunch of unidentified moving objects outside the border!"
Jeffery's face tightened!
Looking at the screen, he saw a swarm of green dots, mixed with a dozen big ones, heading for the border!
Jeffery's heart sank fast!
"We've got enemy forces! A force of 2,000, with armored vehicles or tanks!"

Before Jeffery could finish, a rocket was seen rising into the sky through the tent window.
In a flash, it flew over the base and exploded!
A small white parachute, with a tiny black object dangling below, slowly floated down over the base!
In the sunlight, the glint of a lens on the black object was right there to be seen.
"Victoria's Owl-90 recon drone. Damn it! Only one group on this border buys and uses Victoria's gear, those mercenaries!"
Jeffery shouted angrily, but Autumn moved like a bolt of lightning!
She kicked open a big weapon box nearby, assembled a Barrett in two seconds, dropped to one knee, and fired.
Bang!
The bullet tore through the tent, smashing the camera in the sky!
The Owl-90 was toast!
