Chapter 376 Torpedo Plan
The viewers were stunned!
All they could see on the screen was a mosaic of red pixels, a gruesome display of blood.
"All seven of them are dead!"
"I thought C-class cyborgs were supposed to be strong?"
"Guess not!"
"This Punisher guy is ruthless!"
On the screen, Iron Four walked away silently, disappearing into the rain.
The chat was eerily silent. Everyone was too shocked to type anything.
At BioGen Innovations' headquarters, Bertrand sat in his chair, eyes wide with horror.
In front of him was the live feed from moments ago.
Just a moment ago, he was cursing up a storm, wondering how their plan had been caught on camera.
He was already thinking about how to blame the six major nations if things went south.
But in less than ten minutes, everything had changed. Seven C-class assassins were dead, killed by an unknown cyborg.
Bertrand's hands were cold. He was too late.
Elbert had developed a new cyborg. What level was this?
For a full ten minutes, Bertrand didn't move.
Then, with a twisted expression, he made a call. "Initiate the Torpedo Plan immediately!"
It was now 10 PM.
The Wavehaven coastline was pitch black.
Several figures in wetsuits hid behind some rocks, eyeing the brightly lit, still-under-construction offshore island.
One of them adjusted the large backpack on his shoulders and said in a low voice, "Water Snake, the higher-ups sent us to assist you. Each of us is carrying a bomb to ensure the mission's success."
Water Snake, a small, incredibly flexible figure, sneered and spoke in Arcturus language, "You underestimate me! On land, I'm not as strong, but in the water, it's my domain!"
"No one can beat me!"
"Sending you guys is overkill!"
"I can cover these 14 miles in 10 minutes. That island will be underwater in 15 minutes!"
"In my eyes, only one island is indestructible."
"And that's my great Arcturus!"
"Nothing else deserves to float on this sea!"
What they didn't know was that 80 feet above them, several small drones were silently hovering.
The infrared cameras on these drones were capturing everything and streaming it to the Punishment Record.
The thousands of viewers, still reeling from the earlier shock, suddenly saw this new scene.
The internet exploded with comments.
"What's this..."
"Are they planning to blow up the Punisher Organization's base?"
"Who are these people?"
"Why are they going to such lengths?"
"That snake guy is speaking Arcturus!"
"Damn Arcturus people!"
"Black Clothes is in Evalia?"
"Iron Four is still downtown!"
"Punisher, protect your base!"
Everyone was on edge, and the number of viewers kept increasing.
Water Snake arrogantly said, "Once we're in the water, follow me. If you can't keep up, turn back. Don't surface, or the patrols will spot you!"
With that, Water Snake grabbed the explosives and prepared to dive.
One of the others was shocked. "Water Snake, aren't you using an oxygen tank? It's 14 miles!"
"Ridiculous!"
Water Snake scoffed. "I can hold my breath for 30 minutes. What's 14 miles? Just watch the show!"
With that, Water Snake leaped into the water.
In the next moment, everyone was in disbelief.
Water Snake dove in, twisted his body like a snake, and sped away, cutting through the water at an incredible speed.
No normal human could do that!
The others hesitated for a moment, then adjusted their gear and followed him into the water.
As they dove, the drones above suddenly swooped down.
The footage showed them rapidly approaching the water.
The drones plunged into the water, their propellers turning into thrusters, continuing to film.
The viewers were amazed.
"Wow, amphibious drones!"
"Creator's tech is impressive!"
Underwater, Water Snake's speed was unmatched, quickly closing in on Phantom Island.
He felt invincible. This water was his domain.
"Punisher Organization, prepare to meet your end!"
But then.
From a tall rock on the seabed, a dark-skinned chubby guy suddenly opened his eyes, startling the nearby fish.
He glanced at Water Snake and blew a few bubbles.
"Finally, they're here! I've been holding my breath forever!"
The viewers saw this too.
"What's with this chubby guy? How long has he been underwater?"
The chubby guy kicked off the rock and shot towards Water Snake.
Underwater, he roared, his voice muffled, "Planting rice!"
Water Snake didn't know what hit him. He was grabbed and spun around, his head shoved into the seabed!
Underwater, there was a muffled thud!
Sand and rocks swirled in the water!
Water Snake's head was forcefully buried in the seabed!
The chubby guy quickly removed the explosives from Water Snake and swam to the surface. He took a deep breath and declared, "I am Punisher, Gino Bautista!"
Meanwhile, on a nearby speedboat, a muscular man in a military green vest aimed a shark gun. He squinted and fired a harpoon into the water!
A burst of blood erupted underwater!
Even in the dark, through fifty feet of murky water, his aim was deadly accurate!
He reloaded and fired again, repeatedly!
Four more harpoons!
In an instant, four divers surfaced!
They were the ones following Water Snake, each with a harpoon through their heart!
The viewers were stunned again. Not a single one escaped. They were all taken out!
The muscular man slightly turned his head. "You can call me Sniper Nail, or Punisher, Iron Three!"
