Chapter 293 FIC's Assistance

"Priest? A cyborg with a name like that, did you ask God for permission?" The big guy on stage stayed cool, puffing on a cigar. " No worries. You're about to meet Him. You can ask yourself!"

Two FIC members frowned.

Revolver's hands twitched, and two custom revolvers slid out from his sleeves.

The ammo chambers were beefed up to hold over 20 explosive rounds.

Priest's hands hung low, hiding a glowing object in his palms.

These two were FIC's top fighters! They were the third wave sent to take down Perseus after Evalia's distress call.

In the center of the stage, the big guy squinted, "Inferior cyborgs with flashy but useless skills."

Next, the FIC members shot forward, charging straight at Shepherd.

The big guy smirked and whispered, "Dogs, kill them!"

Suddenly, the whole theater came alive. Dozens of figures popped out from the shadows.

The lighting was dim, making it hard to see clearly.

They were all in leather jackets, moving on all fours. Their eyes were blood-red, and they ran with remarkable swiftness!

The FIC members sensed danger.

Revolver, with his sharp senses, fired rapidly.

Flashes of light erupted! The 'dogs' scattered instantly.

Their speed was insane, even the sharpshooter Revolver felt unsure.

Then a beam of light gathered in Priest's hand, and he threw a glowing orb like a pearl.

The orb exploded!

The corner ahead lit up like daylight!

Ordinary folks would be blinded by the sudden brightness, losing their vision for a bit.

But the FIC members were ready, each wearing sunglasses.

Priest's special ability let him adjust his pupils in extreme brightness to see clearly.

He squinted, ready to charge, but froze at the sight before him.

Revolver's bullets had all missed. Dozens of grotesque cyborgs crouched in the corners, their faces twisted, bodies arched like Marlon Hughes.

They were also blinded by the light, closing their eyes. But they were sniffing around, using their sense of smell to find the enemies.

The next moment, the 'dogs' scattered quickly. Leaping and bounding, they pounced directly at FIC.

Among the FIC members, there were several low-level cyborgs, along with Revolver and Priest, both B-level cyborgs.

They could've fought with their physical strength, but the next scene was incredibly bloody and gruesome.

The 'dogs' seemed to have no rationality, ignoring pain. Even if blown away, they would immediately get up.

The FIC members were truly like being surrounded by a pack of vicious dogs, outnumbered and overwhelmed.

Screams echoed,  some FIC members were torn apart, their guts ripped out. The FIC squad was brutally killed on the spot in 10 minutes.

The big guy known as 'Shepherd' hadn't moved an inch on the stage, just watched the scene before him, like it was no big deal.

Then, he looked up at the distant rooftop, sneering, "Got it now? Ready to die?"

Suddenly, in the corner of the rooftop, a fluctuation of light occurred! Another figure clad in an FIC hero suit emerged, limbs gripping the corner firmly, beads of cold sweat streaming down his forehead.

Shepherd sneered, "Let me guess, your nickname is something like Chameleon?"

The next moment, the 'dogs' spotted their prey, their eyes gleaming with ferocity.

They leaped rapidly, using the stairs and stands to climb up, and they surrounded 'Chameleon' in an instant.

After a few screams, 'Chameleon' was also torn apart.

Shepherd laughed arrogantly, "What a joke, FIC, a bunch of rabble! No one can stop us. Professor, did you see that? Though I'm standing at the center of this small stage, I'll stand at the center of the world in the future."

The professor in the white lab coat also showed a cold smile.

After a moment, he cautiously said, "Sir, the hunting dog 32 sent to kill Harper has exceeded the return time. It might have failed."

Shepherd's smile didn't fade, dismissively saying, "I was careless. I should have sent more dogs."

The professor nodded, "But it's not a big deal. The scent on that woman is strong and easy to track!"

Shepherd squinted, took a puff of his cigar, and waved his hand.

The dogs, still gnawing on the corpses, quickly obeyed. They sniffed the air, their eyes flashing with ferocity, and rushed out the door!

North of Victoria, in the FIC building. Branch leader Robbins watched as the three dots representing the Hero Squad disappeared from the screen.

Cold sweat broke out on his forehead. The cyborgs attacking Evalia were terrifying.

FIC had already sent out three teams.

Over 20 A-level cyborgs had gone without returning! Even the three Hero Squad members sent today were killed.

He looked up at the figure in the treatment pod.

It was the Judge, Hero Squad's number one.

He was now a gruesome sight, with one arm and one leg missing! Although he was the best of the best in FIC, he barely escaped with his life, unconscious.

Robbins' back was soaked with sweat. His fear grew stronger. If this continued, all of FIC's heroes would perish.

Suddenly the phone beside him rang.

Robbins hesitated for a long time, then steadied himself and answered the call, "Captain Robbins, hello, I'm Wyatt, the commander of Evalia's battle division."

"Hello." Robbins tried to steady his voice.

"When will your people come to support us? That cyborg organization is getting more rampant, and our saint Harper went missing two hours ago!" Wyatt was nervous.

Robbins pressed his lips together and said righteously, "Commander Wyatt, rest assured, FIC, as the strongest international cyborg force, will never stand by in such matters!"

"Our warriors are on their way. Once they arrive, the enemies will be eliminated, and Evalia will be peaceful again," Robbins said.

The voice on the other end was excited, "That's great, thank you! You are Evalia's best allies, bless you!"

"Please hurry!" Wyatt urged.

Robbins hung up the phone, his chest heaving.

Sweat dripped down as he thought for a long time.

He gritted his teeth, activated the communicator and said, "This is Robbins, pass my order andabandon the support plan for Evalia!"

"All personnel, listen up, regarding the attack on Evalia, FIC will remain silent and not discuss it further!" Robbins announced.
