Chapter 76 The man you will never conquer

"My first time was in my college dorm with my senior," Aria began. "After that, I slept with a few patients at this clinic."

"Stop." Elbert rubbed his forehead. He just wanted to confirm if Aria was hypnotized, not care about her private life!

"Tell me honestly, why did you plan to hypnotize me?" Elbert asked and leaned back comfortably on the sofa.

"It was Lori. She's too curious about you. She wants to know your secrets. She gave me your information. She wanted me to find a chance to hypnotize you and get your secrets. But for some reason, she suddenly changed her mind last night."

Aria continued, "She decided to respect you and told me to abandon the plan. But after reading your information, I became very interested in you. I'm very curious. I want to know everything about you. So, after she fell asleep, I came to you. I wanted to carry out the hypnosis plan. I mean no harm; I just purely want to understand other people's secrets. I couldn't help it."

Aria, like a puppet, spilled all the truth!

'This is ridiculous!' Elbert felt a bit helpless.

Then he asked, "Why did Lori come to your clinic?"

"She's ill. A psychological illness. She has a condition called passive personality concealment. In her subconscious, she hides her true personality. Then, she shows personalities that she doesn't even like. Also known as split personality. Every time she clicks a ballpoint pen, she's fighting the condition."

Elbert took a deep breath.

'So that's it! Is this girl sick? Does she show her annoying side on purpose? That sounds so tragic!' thought he.

"How is she doing now?" Elbert couldn't help but ask.

"It's difficult. Her subconscious feels that her true personality is not liked by others. So she can never truly show it. She needs affirmation from others."

Elbert asked again, "How did she develop this condition?"

"There are two possibilities. One is that she is extremely strong-willed but has never been affirmed by others, leading to distortion. The other is congenital, with multiple personalities in her genes."

At this point, Aria answered everything Elbert asked! Elbert frowned and thought for a moment. Lori's online name is 'Lori wants to improve.' Plus her already extreme personality. It was probably a combination of both factors that led to Lori's current state! Elbert couldn't help but feel a bit of sympathy for this poor rich girl!

"Do your best to treat her," he said.

"Okay."

Elbert extinguished his cigarette and suddenly said, "And also, don't ever try to mess with me again! Remember, I'm a man you can never conquer, my personality." Then, Elbert used his knowledge of hypnosis to make up a bunch of stuff! Finally, he implanted an idea in Aria's mind: Elbert had already been successfully hypnotized by her. She had gotten a result. Elbert was just an ordinary person who knew a few powerful friends!

Elbert gently closed the Zippo! Aria blinked suddenly, waking up from the hypnosis!

"Wow, that was a good sleep!" Elbert pretended to just wake up too, stretching comfortably!

Aria's expression changed! She glanced at Elbert in a panic and nervously said, "Mr. Perry, you rest first, I have some things to do!"

Then, feeling guilty, Aria left the lounge and ran to the next room to wake up Lori!

"Lori! Wake up, I just successfully hypnotized Elbert!" Aria exclaimed.

"What?" Lori looked a bit displeased. "Aria, didn't I tell you not to do that!"

"I couldn't resist!" A smile flashed across Aria's face. "Don't you want to know what's up with Elbert?"

"But..." Lori hesitated for a moment, and she was indeed very curious! Fighting her guilty conscience, Lori asked softly, "What's up with Elbert?"

Aria's expression became hard to read!

"Lori, your illness is because you have two personalities, remember?"

Lori was stunned. "I remember, so what?"

"Elbert has over 80 personalities!" Aria's eyes widened in disbelief.

"And each personality is vastly different! I've never seen anyone like him! It's unprecedented in the history of psychological disorders! 12 hours a day, 720 minutes, switching a personality every 8 minutes on average!" As Aria spoke, she scared herself!

Lori almost choked. "Aria, are you joking?!"

"I'm not joking. Don't you believe in my medical skills?" Aria chided. "How did I not realize this before? It's so terrifying!"

Out of nowhere, Aria suddenly blurted. "He's a man I can't see through!"

'Why did I say that? I should think it over before speaking.' Aria regretted what she had said.

But Lori didn't care about that; she was still stunned by Elbert's 80 personalities.

'Elbert has 80 personalities? Unimaginable! No wonder Elbert sometimes spoke strangely. Could it be that his personality switched instantly?'

Thinking of this, Lori's mind became more and more chaotic!

After a long time, Aria said, "As for Elbert's identity, he's just an ordinary person who knows many powerful people."

"Lori, be nicer to Elbert in the future; don't bully him anymore; his illness might never be cured!"

Lori smiled bitterly. "Bully him? I wouldn't dare!"

Lori's phone rang, she answered it, spoke a few words, and her expression changed! Then, she hurriedly ran out of the clinic to find Elbert.

"Elbert, we have to go; something happened at home!" Lori said.

But Elbert slowly got up from the sofa. "Let me guess. Did something happen to Jessica? Did she get into a car accident or fall? "

Lori was stunned. "How do you know?"
