Elbert's phone buzzed with a message from the Gemini app.
Elowen: [Mr. Perry, do you have time tonight?]
Turning off his phone, Elbert stood up and patted Alvin on the shoulder. "Take a rest tomorrow, and sleep in!"
Alvin was still a bit puzzled. "Where are you going?"
"On a date!" Elbert shouted over his shoulder as he left.

One of the most luxurious nightclubs in Wavehaven, Luminous Nights Club, features private KTV rooms and an open dance floor spanning thousands of square feet. Countless wealthy individuals indulge in debauchery and pleasure here.
At 7 PM, people began to gather. In a VIP room on the second floor, Elowen looked through the glass at the center of the dance floor, where many slender, scantily clad women swayed their hips.
The flickering lights and faint smell of alcohol were quite enticing. Elowen licked her lips slightly and withdrew her gaze from the dancers, focusing on the serious business she had to discuss tonight.
The club's main door opened. Two rows of waiters bowed in unison. Elbert, still in his white shirt and jeans, which, though inexpensive, looked fresh and unique on him due to his appearance, walked in.
He caught the attention of many sultry women on the dance floor, who were excited and eager to have a drink with him later.
Elbert ignored everything, his gaze directly locking onto the second-floor VIP room. He saw Elowen's long, black-stockinged legs elegantly cross in a different direction. Elbert smiled inwardly.
'This woman, even in a place full of beauties, is an absolute stunner!' he exclaimed inwardly.
Elbert pushed open the VIP room door. The large room was dimly lit, with only Elowen inside. A few candles burned on the table, and the scent of Elowen's Chanel No. 5 perfume filled the air.
"Elbert, I feel you're in a crisis, and it seems I can't solve it!" Robert's voice suddenly came through.
"What did you say?" Elbert instinctively looked around.
"The perfume on this woman contains pheromones specifically designed to attract the opposite sex. You might be falling into a beauty trap!"
Elbert said helplessly, "Are you eight years old? Stay out of adult matters!"
"Alright, I am signing off!"
Robert's voice disappeared.
Elbert sat down calmly, smiling at Elowen. "Miss Winter, you seem well-prepared today."
Elowen was initially stunned, then straightened her chest and laughed. "Mr. Perry, it's our first date, of course, I had to prepare diligently!"
Elowen wore a low-cut evening dress. The neckline reached just to her shoulders, revealing half of her shoulders. Her impressive chest alone was enough to arouse any man's primal desires, not to mention her blue eyes and exquisite face that could score a ten!
"Mr. Perry, let me get straight to the point!" Elowen tilted her shoulder slightly, looking at Elbert. "From when we first met, I knew you were someone great. But it's only been a day, and you've already declared war on Meta Platforms Company! It really confused me."
Seeing Elowen's rather inexperienced seduction techniques, Elbert chuckled wryly. "Say what you have to say directly; there is no need to be so subtle!"
Elowen retracted her fair shoulder, smiling awkwardly. "Declaring war on Meta Platforms Company, naturally, the more funds you have, the better your chances! But because you declared war on Meta Platforms Company, I'm afraid all investment banks in the industry will steer clear of you!"
Elowen fixed her hair and said charmingly, "But I have great confidence in my judgment, and in these troubled times, I'm willing to discuss investment with you."
"Alright." Elbert smiled faintly, crossing his legs. "I expect you to mobilize 500 billion dollars in assets for my company's use, and I'll give you 10% of the shares!"
'500 billion? For 10% of your shares? '
Elowen felt a bit helpless, smiling awkwardly. "A 500 billion valuation is rare even in all of Veridiania. Mr. Perry, you must be joking. This doesn't sound like someone asking for help!"
Elbert smiled lightly again, taking out a cigarette and lighting it. In the blue smoke, his right eye's purple pupil flickered.
Elowen was a bit dazed. Elbert's appearance had an indescribable allure; devilishly handsome with a mysterious attraction!
Elbert exhaled a smoke ring and said, "I'm not asking you; I'm informing you! In light of your trust in me, I'm giving you a chance to double your returns! Oh, and this fund isn't for Creator but for my other investment company—Witness!"
'Witness?' Elowen recalled that this was the investment company Elbert mentioned when they first met at Gemini app's office.
"Mr. Perry, stop teasing me about doubling returns. Creator is currently in a battle with Meta Platforms Company, and now you're starting an investment company?"
Elbert said quietly, "Meta Platforms Company's investment department has been highly effective, almost laying out the entire industry chain for Meta Platforms Company. If I want to compete with them, I naturally need my own investment company!"
Elowen couldn't help but cover her mouth and laugh. "Mr. Perry, what you're talking about is the future, which is too far away! Your core business isn't stable yet, and you're already thinking about strategic layouts? Isn't it a bit too early?"
She then added, "Besides, running an investment company requires the most up-to-date startup information, the keenest observation, and insight! Moreover, it’s best to have cross-industry operational experience! Frankly, you lack all of these!"
