Alaric was taken aback. "Leonard, what the hell are you doing?"
Leonard ignored him and turned to Elbert. "Kid, you're a real hero, fighting evil and standing up for justice!"
"Just a month ago, the international assassin group Card Club invaded Wavehaven!"
"On a dark and stormy night, from 11:45 PM to midnight, you took them on alone, taking down the entire Wavehaven in just 15 minutes! You wiped out 26 A+ enhanced humans and 4 B+ enhanced humans!"
Alaric was stunned again. "Leonard, what nonsense are you spouting?"
"Don't stop me!"
Leonard puffed out his chest and continued, "Two weeks ago, you helped me with an international child trafficking case!"
"You stormed into Victoria all by yourself!"
"Single-handedly, you destroyed Victoria's underground enhancement base, tore apart over 100 evil doctors, and 14 B-level peak enhanced warriors!"
"You burned that base to the ground and walked away unscathed, eliminating the threat for good!"
Alaric was utterly shocked. "Leonard, have you lost your mind?"
"Alaric, shut up! Have I finished speaking?"
Leonard, somehow finding the courage, stood up to Alaric and continued shouting, "Five days ago!"
"An evil enhanced human with near C-level strength, capable of replication and healing, tried to assassinate an FIC agent here!"
"You stepped in at the critical moment, and with one move, Black Storm, you turned the dozen B-level peak enhanced human clones into ashes!"
"You just lifted a finger and eliminated such a deadly threat! It was so satisfying!"
"You're a hero in my eyes!"
Leonard put his hands on his hips and glared at Alaric and the others.
The members of Dragon Might were so stunned by Leonard's imposing manner that they couldn't speak!
Officer Reed's storytelling skills were impressive!

Leonard paused and then continued, "This time is different. You killed those hideous, arrogant people who tried to oppress Veridiania. If you hadn't killed them, they would have bullied our international students!"
"They weren't assassins, criminals, or evil enhanced humans!"
"Do you realize you've put Mr. Kingsley in a tough spot?"
"Do you think Mr. Kingsley will overlook this because of your past heroics, saving children, and eliminating threats?"
"Alaric might not, he's heartless, you know?"
The Dragon Might members were dumbfounded.
A young Dragon Might member exclaimed, "Officer Reed, are you crazy? What are you talking about? How can you slander Mr. Kingsley, and besides..."
The Dragon Might member pointed at Elbert. "He can take down a dozen B+ enhanced humans?"
At that moment, footsteps approached, and a member of the Wavehaven SWAT team, panting heavily, handed a stack of documents to Leonard.
"I'm not talking nonsense!"
Leonard glared. "Today, you're lucky. I've granted you special access to Wavehaven SWAT's top-secret files, numbers 23, 29, and 68. Take a look!"
Alaric's face turned slightly red with anger.
He never expected Leonard to suddenly go crazy.
Alaric angrily flipped through the documents in his hand.

Leonard scratched his head. "Alaric, you figure it out. I can't handle him."

Alaric forgot Leonard's earlier rudeness and stared intently at the white-clad figure, trying to calm himself.
"Elbert, you're incredibly strong, strong enough to be a national treasure!
"But you've really put me in a tough spot!"
"I'm dealing with six major countries. This is a society governed by law, and nations have checks and balances. No matter how strong Veridiania is, we can't stand against their united front!"
"Killing a few people is a small matter, but this could lead to endless trouble!"
Leonard smirked. "Mr. Kingsley is a brilliant strategist in my eyes, with extraordinary means. Is there anything he can't handle?"
"Stop flattering."
Alaric said solemnly, "I really can't handle this."
"Even if I were the one at fault, it would be easier. I could accept the punishment alone to keep Veridiania safe!"
Leonard frowned.
"You're overthinking it."
Elbert didn't turn around, just slightly glanced back, his right eye glowing purple. "I naturally understand the bigger picture. Otherwise, what you would have seen earlier was a large-scale massacre!"
Everyone felt a chill in their hearts!
"However."
Elbert turned back to his computer, continuing to work. "BioGen Innovations and these six countries made two mistakes. First, they harmed my sister. Second, they twisted the world."
"They deserve to die, but not by physical destruction, rather by utter despair."
"They like to bully with power, so they should understand what true power is."
