Elbert turned around slowly and grinned. "Sometimes, breaking the rules gets you the best results!"
Three-star General Percival's hands were shaking, "You almost started an international war!"
Elbert chuckled. "I get it, you guys always play it safe with foreign policies. But me? I'm Paul Four, a hacker. I'm a shadow warrior! No chains holding me back, so my methods gotta scare the enemy and boost Veridiania's rep!"
"You..." Percival was about to say something when a communications officer rushed over with a phone.
"Sterling's Twitter is blowing up with reporters! He promised the world that he'll keep all his commitments! He's gonna negotiate cybersecurity deals and trade strategies with us! And since this whole mess started with their hacker attack, he won't say a word about it! Even the missile that hit the government building, he called it a drill! He can't explain it!"
Percival was floored.
Paul Four's cockiness and swagger actually worked!
He even solved Veridiania's long-standing diplomatic issues, leaving Percival in disbelief.
A young hacker calling himself Paul Four, with just a computer, totally crushed Victoria.

"Mr. Radcliffe!" The communications officer continued, "The central leadership sent a message!"
Percival's brow furrowed, "What did the leader say?"
"The leader called this battle reckless!" The communications officer scratched his head. "But he didn't say much else, just that he wants to meet Paul Four!"
Percival was stunned!
The leader's message was clear, not exactly cheering this action, but kinda giving a nod!
Everything happened so fast, the leaders saw the results right away!
And wanting to meet Paul Four was a sign of approval!
After thinking for a moment, Percival frowned and said, "You're really something! But, Sterling's no pushover either! Do you know what his proposed cybersecurity treaty means in his panic?"
Everyone turned to look!
Percival continued, "I admit, their proposal is mostly out of fear of you! But this treaty will definitely limit future cyber warfare between our nations! So, it means that not only will Sterling not fear you in the future, but your mad skills will also have no place to be used!"
Elbert nodded slightly.
He turned and typed a command on the computer.
In an instant, he retracted the code from Victoria's system!
Victoria's hacker forum went back to normal!
Civilian phone interfaces were restored!
Weapon system control was reclaimed!
Elbert slowly stood up.
"General Percival, it's an honor. I just checked out your impressive career. Your military achievements are top-notch, and your strategies are legendary, loyal and brave, a rare great general for Veridiania! I get that you were just trying to tell me to dial it back a bit!"
Percival's face tightened, showing Elbert had hit the nail on the head!
"Alright, let me lay it out for you!" Elbert stood up, hands behind his back. "With your smarts, you can see Paul Four's status! Not just Victoria, but every country out there, as long as Veridiania's got Paul Four, they'll be losing sleep, freaking out!
With Paul Four, no one's gonna start a cyber war or even think about a cyber invasion! With Paul Four, no one questions Veridiania's tech! With Paul Four, no one underestimates Veridiania! And starting tomorrow, the name Paul Four will be known worldwide. Everyone will know Veridiania's got an unbeatable cyber guardian, Paul Four!"
Elbert smirked. "Pardon my arrogance, but there's no one on this planet who can match me!"
Elbert said it so calmly, but everyone felt a chill run down their spines!

Paul Four's coding skills, the sheer destruction from a few lines of code, they saw it firsthand!

Elbert shrugged and grinned. "Looks like it's my turn again! But this time, I'm not using cyber means, I'm going physical!"
Elbert smiled mysteriously, 'cause he already found the attacker's trail!
It was a hacker named 'Left Shoulder'!
And Elbert had already locked onto his IP address.
This guy was right in Veridiania, near the Cybersecurity Bureau of Wavehaven!
He hijacked the nearby fiber optics, planning to wreck the Cybersecurity Bureau system!
"Alright folks, if there's nothing else, I'm outta here."
Elbert's eyes scanned the room, but everyone was silent!
Eric looked at the leaders again.
Paul Four was an SSS threat level!
He was leaving now!
The leaders had uncertain looks!
Finally, Percival waved his hand. "I didn't see anything!"
The other two turned their heads away.
Eric let out a long breath. "Someone, open the windows and doors! And it's a mess in here, you two, come with me to get some water and clean up!"
Elbert waved his hands. "See ya!"
With that, Elbert walked out calmly, hands behind his back, slowly leaving the top floor of the Cybersecurity Bureau.
With a clear path, Elbert entered the Cybersecurity Bureau openly and left openly.
Everyone in the Cybersecurity Bureau knew, this was Paul Four, a super cyber god.
