Chapter 509 Hardcore
                    "What?"
Quentin, who was lazily dragging an air conditioner, suddenly froze and perked up his ears. "Paul Three? Man, I've missed you!"
Quentin then took a giant leap!
He jumped straight onto the roof!
"Paul Three!"
He gave Elbert a bear hug!
"Gary, I got the air conditioner back for you!"
Quentin then noticed Mr. Fields. "Who's this old dude? Hey there!"
Quentin gave Mr. Fields a bear hug, too!
Mr. Fields was still a bit stunned!
If he heard correctly, Elbert said he was... an F-class cyborg?
"Got any food?"
"Paul Three, you know why I couldn't lift the air conditioner? I'm starving!"
Quentin grabbed the fish on the table and started wolfing it down!
Everyone was stunned!
Those two old men had been politely sharing the fish for ten minutes!
Thirty seconds later.
Quentin laughed and said, "Don't worry, everyone, I saved some for you!"
Everyone looked at the table. Quentin had indeed left some food, though it didn't look very appetizing!
Mr. Fields hadn't seen such a scene in years!
Amused but also a bit bitter, he slowly said, "Gary, cheers."
Meanwhile, on Wavehaven's bar street!
Darius and his two companions stood awkwardly in the backstage area of a bar!
"What are you three standing around for?"
A chubby bar owner, surprisingly fluent in Lumaria, raised an eyebrow. "I saw you guys had no food, so I brought you here to perform!"
"Ten bucks a day. If you want it, don't waste my time!"
"Now, strip down to your underwear!"
Theo, the chubby one, looked horrified and clutched his chest!
"Come on, chubby, don't be shy!"
"Look at you, with those muscles and those dreadlocks. A muscle show on stage would be a hit!"
"You might even get famous!"
The chubby owner squinted his eyes. "But no one's gonna watch if you don’t strip!"
Darius clutched the picture from Mike tightly.
He struggled to suppress his sense of humiliation.
To avenge his village, he had to survive first!
As long as he could kill his enemy!
Even if it meant joining his villagers in eternal rest afterward!
He sighed deeply, "Do as he says!"
But then, skinny Noah's eyes lit up as he stared at the picture.
"Darius, doesn't that flower Mike drew look like the lilacs on the wasteland?"
The other two were slightly stunned. "It does look a bit like it!"
Noah furrowed his brow, "Did we misunderstand Mike's message? Maybe the flower represents color?"
"Purple?"
"Purple eyes?"
The three of them suddenly widened their eyes!
They remembered the kid who bought them pancakes earlier!
He had one eye that glowed purple!
And it was his right eye, just like in the drawing!
"Hey, you three, stop dawdling!"
"You took the money, now don't try to back out!"
The chubby bar owner picked up a bottle and threatened Darius!
But Darius's eyes were icy cold!
He handed the ten bucks back to the owner!
"You really are backing out!"
"Let me tell you, you can't just quit this job whenever you feel like it!"
The bar owner wasn't someone to mess with. He flipped out immediately!
Darius pointed to his head!
"You want me to hit you?"
"Kid, you've got some nerve!"
Crash!
The bar owner smashed the bottle over Darius's head!
"We're even now!"
Darius remained unfazed and responded calmly!
"Guys, let's go, revenge time!"
As the bouncers charged forward!
A deafening boom!
Three figures leaped into the air, smashing through the bar's roof!
They disappeared!
The bar owner sat on the ground, terrified!
He gaped at the stars through the hole in the roof!
"Are these guys superheroes?"
On the rooftop.
Mr. Fields and Gary were having a drinking contest, downing bottle after bottle of whiskey and a bottle of red wine!
Leonard was on edge, worried they might drink themselves into trouble!
Elbert kept a close eye on the two old men!
All their vital signs were under control!
Despite their age, they were in good health, their blood flowing smoothly!
But both old men were now visibly drunk!
Mr. Fields said, "Gary, you're not better than me, except you have a good student!"
Gary replied, "Mr. Fields, you must be drunk. I only have one student, and he can take you down!"
"Gary! That's the one thing you got right!"
Mr. Fields swayed, "You think I came to see you? I'm here because of Elbert. You're his elder; he listens to you. Get him to put his handprint on this and raise our flag on the island!"
Mr. Fields was drunk and speaking his mind!
But it was unclear if it was his true intention or just drunken talk!
Gary hiccuped and waved his hand, "I can't control him! Stop beating around the bush. Explain what happened back then first!"
Mr. Fields rubbed his head, "What are you talking about! Gary, I'm telling you, if your student Elbert doesn't listen, I'll have to find someone to put him in his place!"
Elbert's heart skipped a beat.
Mr. Fields was drunk, but he had a plan!
He was using his drunkenness to warn him!
"Who can you find?"
Gary squinted, "Let me tell you, Elbert is a new human..."
Elbert was taken aback!
Gary knew about new humans?
Gary stammered on, "The strongest among the new humans..."
Elbert sighed.
But at that moment!
Boom, boom, boom!
In the distance, a loud noise echoed through the air!
In the darkness, three figures raced across the towering buildings, approaching rapidly!
Their strength was terrifying, each step causing the building surfaces to crack!
They seemed to break through the air, with a thunderous sonic boom, unstoppable!
Gary sighed heavily, "Every time you come out, it's trouble. You're always being hunted!"
Mr. Fields remained calm, "Don't worry about it. Let's keep drinking!"
As Mr. Fields finished speaking!
Nearby buildings were suddenly filled with shadows!
They soared into the sky, exuding a powerful aura!
Elbert squinted his eyes. D-class cyborgs?
Robert: "The radiation levels on those three are off the charts! Mr. Fields' guards might not be able to handle them!"
Elbert looked cautious.
He nudged Quentin, who was resting nearby, "Quentin, go!"
But Mr. Fields waved his hand, "No need!"
And the next moment!
The ground lit up with strange blue lights!
In the shadowed alley, it seemed like several electric portals had opened!
Then.
Several dark figures silently emerged!
Their presence far surpassed the previous D-class cyborgs!
Elbert's vision zoomed in!
They were young men in traditional robes, with 'Miller' embroidered on their chests!
Elbert's heart raced!
Mr. Fields had mentioned a family from the Maya civilization, with advanced thought and technology for two thousand years—the Miller family.
Could they really exist?
