Chapter 119 Paul Three will present

Luminous Hall, 5th Floor.

Elowen groggily woke up, squinting at the glaring sunlight streaming through the window.

As she looked around, she realized she was in a soft, big bed.

"My God!" she exclaimed, quickly covering her chest.

'What happened?' she thought frantically. 'Did I lose my virginity?'

Her head hurt, and she felt something off.

She checked her clothes—they were all on.

"That's impossible! Men are all lustful," she exclaimed and checked her underwear again. And it was intact!

She looked at the sheets—no traces either.

'Is there really such an upright man?' she wondered.

But when her memory awoke in her mind, Elowen slapped her forehead.

'Yesterday! With Creator Company's Mr. Perry... That devilishly handsome, incredibly charismatic man who could see through everything,' she thought.

'We drank countless high-proof cocktails together! Why am I praising him? Didn't he sleep with me? Fuck! What's wrong with me? Why do I have this thought? I like women! But...'

After thinking a while, she snapped back to reality.

Elowen felt a bit disappointed. She shakily got up and suddenly saw a glass of water and a note on the coffee table. While drinking the water, she picked up the note.

[Miss Elowen, when I said I wanted you, I meant I wanted to invite you to co-manage Witness. If you think I can be trusted, then the first step is to invest in these startups: Black Box Virtual KTV App, Magic Face Expression App.]

At the end of the message, a vivid flower—a lily—was drawn with a blue ballpoint pen. Elowen's favorite flower!

'What an arrogant man!' Elowen finished reading the note and wrinkled her nose.

"I'm the investment director of Catalyst Capital! Why should I follow your arrangements? Witness? Do you even have an office address? Do you have bank funding support?" Elowen said as she carefully folded the note.

A genuine smile appeared on her face.

Then she picked up the phone, "It's me. Help me contact the founders of these companies: Black Box Virtual KTV App and Magic Face Expression App."

In the lab, hundreds of workers were busy. Under Robert's arrangement, efficiency was pushed to the extreme. Tasks were completed one after another, with almost no time gaps. Elbert stood in the middle, watching the scene inside the room continuously change according to his vision. The progress was already halfway done. Everything would be completed within three days without a single mistake.

The construction workers were astonished by the scene.

Large machine tools and various high-tech equipment were continuously being transported in from outside. They looked like parts of a production line.

Looking at the handsome young man in white, they recalled they had signed confidentiality agreements and didn't dare to ask questions. Their minds only conjured up images of a countryside lab that could create a Frankenstein on a stormy night!

A huge machine tool suddenly got stuck at the door, unable to move. A 17-year-old, one-armed boy slowly walked forward. With one hand, he lifted a corner of the several-ton machine tool, easily crossing the threshold. The workers were all shocked! The one-armed boy, after helping, lowered his head and silently returned to Elbert's side.

"Summer, keep a low profile," Elbert said.

"Yes, sir."

Elbert turned to look at the resolute-faced boy. His gaze lingered on his empty arm. Thoughtfully, he said, "Once the production line is set up, I'll start working on some machinery, and I'll give you a gift."

"Thank you, but I don't need any gifts." Summer pondered for a moment. "I just want to find our enemy as soon as possible and take revenge!"

Elbert looked at Summer, feeling pity. He nodded slightly. "Don't worry, I will kill him for you."

At Elbert's feet, the mechanical dog Coco quietly crawled over, its head covered in a device that looked like a motorcycle helmet. It was adorable. Elbert smiled lightly and picked up the helmet.

[Derek Rivera, 2020.4.3 Human Consciousness Linker (Failed).]

A message showed in his eyes.

'This student really has some talent. Can human consciousness really be linked?' Elbert was a bit skeptical.

Robert answered, "Theoretically, it's possible, especially when people's consciousness is unguarded. This little thing has great potential; let me study it slowly!"

Elbert raised his head slightly. With a thought, surveillance images instantly appeared in his vision. It was a standalone villa surrounded by a garden. A beautiful woman with a bandaged shoulder was carefully watering the flowers in the yard with a watering can. She was humming a song.

This woman was none other than the eldest daughter of the Brown Family, Jessica—The International assassin 'Phantom'!

For days, Elbert had been observing her. She failed to assassinate Jeffery. Her husband Rex was disgraced and was punched into a vegetative state by Elbert! But she acted as if nothing had happened! Living normally, healing normally! No contact with anyone, no further actions!

Naturally, Elbert was a bit suspicious for that!

The perspective shifted. Another image appeared. Rex was locked in a bedroom in the villa. He sat by the window, looking at Jessica in the yard and laughing foolishly! Although he was involved in embezzling public funds and attempted murder, those were family matters. Mr. Brown didn't sue him, so he wasn't imprisoned!

Then, Elbert took out his phone and called Alvin.

"Alvin, how's your rest going?" Elbert asked.

"I haven't rested! I'm restless! You have no idea how the internet views us now! Many famous reviewers are overwhelmingly against us, thinking we have no chance! And how did you suddenly give the employees a vacation, which made me even more anxious? I'm afraid the company will lose morale!"

Hearing this, Elbert chuckled. "Sometimes, anxiety is a good thing; only when you're cornered can you unleash your greatest strength! Alvin, get ready for a company-wide meeting tomorrow morning! I'll attend!"

Alvin suddenly got excited.

"Really?" he asked.

"Of course, but don't mention my real name again; my title is simple—Paul Three!"
