Now, with some crazy potential-boosting and physical upgrades, they'd hit a whole new level—C-grade cyborgs!

Elbert had never seen power like this since he started fighting!
And there were 283 of them.
In the combat department, no doubt, ApexGuardians were the top dogs!
At the battlefield.
ApexGuardians charged in, no one even bothering with guns because guns would just slow them down!
They were insanely fast and strong, like bolts of lightening.
The mercenaries are freaking out, moving in slow motion!
Even with guns, they couldn't touch the ApexGuardians.
And the ApexGuardians, pissed off by the enemy crossing their line, showed no mercy!
This wasn't a battle but a straight-up massacre!
Gunfire was popping off!
Screams were echoing!
283 figures were moving like blurs, enemies dropping like flies!
10 minutes later, It was dead silent, without a single mercenary left standing.
ApexGuardians regrouped.
No one was hurt, not even a bit tired!
But their hearts were pounding with excitement!
They just got their upgrades and rushed straight to the fight and didn't even get to fully test their new powers.
Now, they were clenching their fists.
Bones creaking, feeling like they could crush the world!
It was blown their minds as it dawned on them what the upgrades meant.
And they knew this power came from Elbert and Gary.
Now, they were all about science!
And they'd got mad respect for Elbert!
Suddenly, Red Brow snapped out of it, yelling, "Where's Elbert?"
He looked at the battlefield full of bodies and smoke. "He wouldn't be..."
Everyone was stunned!
Red Brow freaked out! He dived into the pile of corpses, tossing mercenary bodies left and right! "Elbert, you better not be dead! How am I gonna explain this to Autumn?"
Elbert, chilling in a tree, rubbed his forehead.
These C+ cyborgs still needed to work on their awareness.
Then he spotted Gary and General Jeffery showing up.
Jeffery looked at the battlefield, first shocked.
Then he saw the ApexGuardians standing tall like gods.
He was tearing up!
The ApexGuardians finally made it!
Northern War Zone, Southern War Zone, any recon team, any night owl squad would be crushed to pieces.
And Leonard's special ops group wasn't even in the same league as ApexGuardians.
Elbert jumped down from the tree, landing smoothly, kicking up a cloud of dust.
Everyone turned to look.
Elbert was chill, not a scratch on him!
Red Brow finally pulled his head out from under a wrecked tank.
Elbert was good!
"Elbert, man, thanks to you!" Jeffery straightened up, looking at Elbert seriously. "My impatience almost screwed us over. If you weren't here, we'd be toast! You didn't just help us with the upgrades, you saved all our lives!"
The ApexGuardians got serious too.
The instructor was right, without Elbert, they'd be history!
No one would’ve survived, and ApexGuardians would be done for!
Led by Jeffery, all 283 ApexGuardians saluted Elbert in unison!
Group 1 leader, Gray Bear, looked at Jeffery for a cue.
Seeing Jeffery nod slightly., Gray Bear got all formal and said loudly, "We, ApexGuardians, each owe Elbert a life! I, Gray Bear, on behalf of ApexGuardians, promise that if you ever need help, as soon as your message arrives, all 283 of us will come!"
Then, 283 voices echoed loudly!
"As soon as the message arrives, we will rush a thousand miles!"
The echo bounced off the mountains!
No need for more proof, ApexGuardians would keep their word because it was a soldier's promise!
Elbert wasn't a soldier, so a military salute didn't fit.
He nodded slightly and said seriously, "Everyone, you're too kind! Witnessing the soul of Veridiania's military, it's an honor!"
LD000001 flew in from a distance.
Summer and Autumn were already waiting on the plane.
With Autumn in sight, Red Brow's face fell.
Jeffery was surprised and said to Elbert, "What, you're leaving already?"
Elbert nodded, "The radium we found can't just sit in the camp. Over time, regular folks won't be able to handle it. Please, Commander Jeffery, arrange for transport from the combat department to help me move it back to Wavehaven."
Jeffery nodded slightly. "No problem."
Elbert looked at Gary and smiled, "You coming back with me? Got plenty of wine."
Gary smacked his lips and waved his hand, "I can't just bounce like you. These ApexGuardians just got their upgrades and need to be watched. Plus, their special abilities haven't kicked in yet."
Elbert nodded slightly.
He glanced at the ApexGuardians warriors.
C+ level was already a whole level above B grade!
If they had special talents in their genes, it wouldn't be long before special abilities showed up!
By then, no one could tell what kind of crazy stuff this 'SilentSentinels' would pull off!
"Elbert," Gary said with his hands behind his back, "The government got our research report and they're kinda freaking out."
Jeffery smiled wryly and added, "Not kinda, they're totally freaking out!"
Gary shrugged, "The government wants to confirm the names of the experimenters, and an old guy like me doesn't need to show up. I'm planning to put your name on it."
"Name? If you write it, it must be after Gary! As for what to write..." Elbert was a bit taken aback, thought for a moment, then walked up to Gary and whispered a few words in his ear.
Gary listened while counting on his fingers, "Quite a few titles!"
