Chapter 25 Unintended Intimacies

"What do you want. Gabriel?" Teresa was losing patience.

"If you dislike it, I'll try another," Gabriel said, reaching for a black suit before getting into the fitting room again.

Teresa stood, dumbfounded, until a familiar voice reached her ears.

"Liam, good afternoon!"

It was Liam, accompanied by mall executives, passing by the store. Teresa's heart skipped—this was Sen Corporation property, Liam's domain.

In a panic, she darted into the fitting room...

She fell into Gabriel’s big and wide chest. The impact sent a jolt through her, her forehead meeting his unyielding chin.

Gabriel inhaled a scent that was both familiar and soothing, a mix of cherry blossoms and citrus. It was as if she was part of him, an essential part of his world.

His dark eyes flashed, an urge rising within him.

"Always so bold, Teresa?" he murmured, his arms around her waist, pulling her close.

Teresa's shock was palpable as she pushed against him, "Let go of me!"

Outside, voices continued, oblivious to the charged atmosphere in the fitting room.

"Hello, Liam. It's an honor to meet you," the new manager's voice carried through the store.

"How is the revenue?" Liam's warm and calm voice came.

Trapped, Teresa dared not move or make a sound, her was almost short of breath.

Gabriel's satisfaction grew as he leaned in closer, Teresa's hands coming up defensively.

"If you're so uncomfortable, leave. I need to change," he whispered with low voice.

Teresa was close to tear up, fearing a misunderstanding with Liam.

“I never asked you to stay!” said Gabriel. Then he began to undress without any discomfort.
