Chapter 631 Bring Dad Back
At night, in Washington D.C., the Kennedy family mansion.
After ending the video call with Sarah, for a long time, John's heart couldn't calm down.

Glancing at it, it was a landline number from River North, the Adams Group's office number.
Was it Kennedy calling from the Adams Group's office number?
She took a deep breath and, feeling a slight flutter, picked up the phone after it had vibrated seven or eight times.
"It's me, Monroe." As soon as the call connected, Monroe's calm voice came through.
Upon hearing it was Monroe, John wasn't disappointed, nor did she show any signs of anger.
After all, she now knew that Monroe's family had saved Kennedy's life.
"Why did you call me, is there something you need?" John asked gently, extremely calm.
"Originally, I called off the engagement with Kennedy because you were marrying Jasper, but I didn't expect to be played in the end, not getting married myself but getting my sister married instead." On the other end of the phone, Monroe chuckled ambiguously.
"I'm sorry to disappoint you," John's voice remained calm and steady, devoid of any emotion.
On the other end of the phone, Monroe chuckled ambiguously again, "I'm not disappointed because I have truly given up on Kennedy."
"Is that so?" John was surprised by Monroe's words, "Why are you telling me this?"
"For peace of mind, after all, in the future, Kennedy and I will still love each other like family!" Monroe said gently with a smile.
John also smiled gently, "Do you have anything else you want to tell me?"
"Well, since we've started, why not say it all." Monroe began to speak openly, "On Jasper's birthday night at Lumina Falls, I actually drugged both you and Jasper. I originally wanted you and Jasper to make love, then have Kennedy rush back to see the show live."
As she spoke, Monroe chuckled slyly, "Unfortunately, plans change. When Kennedy rushed back, although he saw you and Jasper lying naked on a bed, he didn't believe that anything had happened between you two. Later, because of this incident, he arranged for people to attack me, leaving me lying in a hospital bed for half a month."
Listening to Monroe's words, John finally understood why Monroe was attacked and seriously injured, and hospitalized by a group of unidentified people at Lumina Falls, why Kennedy would tell her that Monroe was not worth dating when she went to see Monroe.
But Kennedy and Jasper had never mentioned this to her, and Kennedy had never shown any concern. So even though he saw her and Jasper lying naked on a bed, Kennedy believed her, believed she hadn't betrayed him, so there was no resentment in his heart.
"Monroe, why are you telling me all this now?" After a moment of silence, unable to contain herself, John suddenly asked with red eyes.
"What do you think I want to do?" Monroe suddenly laughed heartily, "Just want you to know that you missed out on a man who loved you and trusted you so much."
