Chapter 644 Final (One)
Hayden and William agreed that, unless there were any special circumstances, they would stay in Central City and North River for a month each.
Anyway, Central City has a branch of the Bennetts, and North River has a branch of the Smiths. Wherever Hayden and William are, it won't affect their business dealings.
A week later, Hayden and William flew to Central City with their two children.
Upon returning to Central City, the first thing Hayden did was to bring Daniel back to the Bush family mansion.
Jocelyn got married and was about to go to Frostpeak Republic to complete her studies. Since she wouldn't be home for a while, she couldn't always stay by Finn's side.
Although there were assistants and many servants taking care of Finn, his heart still felt somewhat empty without a child by his side.
Since being brought back to Radiant Valley City, Hayden arranged for many private tutors to educate and train Daniel in various aspects.
After a few months of effort from the teachers and Daniel, Daniel changed quite a bit, grew taller, and began to exude some of the aura of a young noble from Central City.
Hayden also knew that in the past few months, Finn had actually visited Daniel a few times. The main reason Finn hadn't actively brought Daniel back was because she was afraid of upsetting Jocelyn and Hayden.
"Daniel, let's put everything in the past behind us. Whether it's me or Jocelyn, we won't bring it up again. I also hope that you can completely let go of the past. In the future, the three of us siblings can live together in harmony. You should be a good son, learn to stand on your own, and not disappoint any of us anymore." After bringing Daniel back, Hayden looked at him and spoke sincerely.
"Yeah, I've forgotten everything from the past."
Standing beside Hayden, Jocelyn also nodded in agreement and added a bit sternly to Daniel, "But if you dare to misbehave after coming back home, don't count on me letting you off the hook."
"Big sister, brother-in-law, second sister, brother-in-law, rest assured, I will study well, be a good son, and not let you down again. I promise." Daniel had been through tough times in Radiant Valley City and was truly afraid and in pain. "If I do anything wrong in the future, feel free to scold me. If I do something bad, just send me back to Radiant Valley City and never let me come back."
Watching Daniel, who was still a bit nervous in front of Hayden and Jocelyn, Jasper reached out, patted his shoulder, and said with a smile, "Don't worry, as long as you don't do anything wrong, your big sister and second sister won't be too hard on you."
Looking at Jasper, Daniel nodded, "Thank you, brother-in-law."
"Go check out your room upstairs. If you need anything, just tell the butler," Hayden instructed.
"Okay, thank you, big sister." Daniel nodded and went upstairs with the butler.
After more than seven years, returning to this mansion symbolizing wealth and status, Daniel was excited and vowed in his heart that he would never leave this mansion again.
As long as he behaved himself, and maintained his status as a company scion of the Bush family, he would have a lifetime of wealth and glory.
Once Daniel went upstairs, Jocelyn took Hayden to see Chloe and Logan, intending to consult her on many things. William, on the other hand, went to the garden with Jasper.
In the garden, Jasper took out a cigarette and offered one to William.
William shook his head directly and said, smirking, "I quit."
"Quit?!" Jasper was surprised for a moment, but then he smiled, "Jocelyn said my smoking looks particularly charming, she doesn't want me to quit."
Watching him, William couldn't help but chuckle, "It seems Jocelyn really suits you."
Raising his eyebrows, Jasper nodded with a smile, "Indeed, this little girl has a talent for charming men."
In fact, Jasper wasn't foolish at all. He had long guessed that someone had intentionally drugged him on their wedding night. Otherwise, under the circumstances of being completely drunk, he wouldn't have been able to engage in intimacy.
And he figured out that the one who tampered with things was most likely Jocelyn herself. When you like someone, you'll go to great lengths to get them, even if the means aren't entirely honorable.
After all, Jasper truly believed that marrying Jocelyn was more suitable for him than marrying Hayden. Because marrying Jocelyn meant she was truly his wife, and their personalities were more compatible for the long haul.
William nodded with a smile, "It seems you really like her, congratulations."
With a cigarette in his mouth but not lighting it, Jasper grinned and said, "Let's not be so formal with the congratulations. Let's talk business."
William smiled and said generously, "Pick any of the new projects developed by the Bennetts recently."
"Alright, as you wish. I won't hold back then." With that, Jasper burst into laughter.
