Chapter 642 "Am I Dreaming?"

Thinking of those scenes, unable to suppress it, Hayden's heart started beating faster again, the already rosy cheeks blushing even more. Hayden quickly put on a nightgown, trying to calm her emotions, and then, barefoot, walked out of the bedroom. In the kitchen, William was busy and orderly with the ingredients. Because Hayden was barefoot, she deliberately lightened her steps, making no sound as she walked. However, just as she was four or five steps away from William, ready to sneak up and hug him from behind, William still sensed her approach and immediately put down the ingredients, turning around. Although the apartment had the air conditioning on and wasn't cold at all, the floor was still a bit chilly. Seeing her in a camisole nightgown, revealing a pair of slender white legs, still barefoot, William helplessly shook his head and, while wiping his hands with a towel, said softly, "Stand there, don't move."

Hayden looked at him and obediently stood still. William dried his hands, took a few steps over, then lifted her hips, facing her, and lifted her up. Quickly, Hayden wrapped her hands and feet around him, like a sloth clinging to a tree. Holding her, William sat her down on the dining table, then leaned down to lightly kiss her red lips, indulgently reproaching, "You're a mother now, how can you still not take care of yourself?"

Hayden, unwilling to let go, also leaned in to kiss him, "Because of you."

William smiled, gently brushed her nose tip with his hand, "I can't be by your side twenty-four hours a day in the future."

Hayden looked at him, smiled sweetly, and then threw herself into William's arms again, hugging him tightly, saying affectionately, "William, am I dreaming?"

"Silly!" William hugged her back, and lowered his head to kiss her forehead firmly.

With a low, gentle voice, he said, "If you think it's a dream, then I'll accompany you all the way."

Hayden smiled happily, then raised her head from William's embrace, "I miss Chloe and Logan."

William gently stroked her cheek, "Let's eat, then we'll go back."

"Okay."

After eating, the two went straight to the airport and took a private plane back to River North. On the way to the airport, while William was on the phone dealing with business, Hayden took a photo of their hands intertwined and the ring on her left ring finger, then sent it to Teresa on Facebook.

On the other end of the phone in River North, due to the time difference, it was almost ten o'clock at night. Teresa had just finished telling Robert a bedtime story, watched him fall asleep, and returned to the bedroom. When she heard the phone "ding," she picked it up and saw the photo. When she opened it and saw the photo Hayden had sent, she was momentarily stunned.

The photo showed two hands tightly clasped together, clearly one male and one female, and a dove egg ring on the woman's finger. This was the photo Hayden sent her while in Lumina Falls. Sophia had told her yesterday that William was on a business trip, but she didn't know where. Could it be... Suddenly, Teresa was so excited that she couldn't control herself, and her eyes became a little moist. Her brother was on a business trip. He must have gone to Lumina Falls. Yes, he must have gone there to find Hayden. Hayden was with her brother, and they were finally together! This is great, really great! At this moment, the joy in Teresa's heart was indescribable, even more so than when she was with Gabriel. She was happier and more excited.

She had been waiting for this moment for so long, and finally, Hayden was with her brother, they were finally together. Gabriel finished discussing business with Li Chongshan, returned to the room, and saw Teresa standing there staring at her phone, crying and laughing.

She was a bit startled by her, immediately went over and hugged her, wiping the tears from her eyes, and asked softly, "What's wrong, darling, are you crying and laughing, are you silly?"

Teresa looked up at him, smiled and nodded heavily, "Yes, I'm so happy."

"What's making you so happy?" Gabriel asked in confusion.

Teresa smiled and showed him the photo on the phone screen. "What's this?" Gabriel glanced at the photo on the phone and asked puzzledly.

"Hayden sent it to me," Teresa said with a smile.

Gabriel looked at her, furrowed his brows slightly, and thought for a moment, "Hayden is with your brother!"
