"Liam, big brother."
As Liam walked into the hall, a soft voice immediately sounded.
Following the voice, Liam looked up and saw a young girl standing next to the sofa, wearing a plain white one-shoulder knee-length dress.
The girl looked seventeen or eighteen, with fair and clean skin, a palm-sized oval face, delicate features, a hint of charming beauty mixed with elegance, a head of black long hair naturally falling on her shoulders, a slender neck, two sexy collarbones hidden in the black hair, adding to her allure.
The girl was tall, at least 170cm tall, with long arms and legs.
Most importantly, her body proportions were excellent, making her pleasing to the eye.
This must be Alice.
Liam was momentarily stunned, then smiled and walked over, asking, "Are you Alice?"
"Yes, Liam, I'm Alice. Sorry to bother you." Alice looked at Liam walking towards her, neither humble nor overbearing, smiling lightly in response.

"Okay, thank you, Liam." Alice looked at him, and nodded with a smile.
"See, being polite again." Liam chuckled.
Alice playfully stuck out her tongue, "It's a habit."
"Then let's change that slowly."
"Okay." Once again, Alice obediently nodded.
"Let's go, dinner is ready."
"Okay." Alice nodded again, then walked side by side with Liam towards the dining room.
The meal had been prepared in advance and kept warm. When they entered the dining room, everything was already set up.
"What do you like to eat, what flavors do you prefer, feel free to tell the butler in the future." As Alice sat down opposite him, Liam said gently.
"Yes, I will." Alice nodded, picked up her chopsticks, and first placed a shrimp ball in Liam's bowl, saying, "Liam, you go ahead and eat."
Liam looked at her and smiled, "I've already eaten outside. You go ahead! In the future, you don't have to wait for me and Dad. We won't be eating together at home often."
Watching him, Alice bit her lip lightly and nodded, "Then I'll eat."
Liam watched her nod, "Good, eat more."
Alice smiled brightly, picked up her chopsticks, and began to eat heartily.
Liam sat across from her, one arm casually resting on the back of the chair, quietly watching her.
Perhaps really hungry, Alice ate quickly and elegantly despite her large bites.
After Alice finished eating, seven or eight servants had already tidied up the rooms, and Alice's luggage had been moved to the upstairs room.
Since it was late, Alice and Liam went upstairs together.
"This is your room. My room is next door. If you need anything, feel free to find me." When they reached Alice's room door, Liam stopped and said gently.

Liam smiled, reached out to her, "Your phone, unlock it and show me."
Confused, Alice still followed his instructions and unlocked her phone, handing it to Liam.
Liam took it, saved his phone number on her phone, made a call from his own phone, then added his Facebook before handing it back to Alice, instructing, "My phone number is saved, and I'll add you on Facebook later. If I'm not home, call me or leave a message on Facebook."
Alice took the phone, and nodded heavily, "Got it, thank you, Liam."
Liam nodded with a slight smile, "Good night."
"Good night." Alice waved to him again, watching him turn and enter the adjacent room before going into her own room.
These days, Liam had indeed been very busy and tired from lack of rest. So, after returning to his room, he took off his clothes and headed to the bathroom for a shower.
As Liam came out of the shower, a sudden thunderclap sounded, lightning flashed outside the window, as if trying to split the dark sky open.

After one thunderclap passed, another followed immediately.
Liam glanced at the window, then turned and walked towards the wardrobe.
After wrapping himself in a bathrobe and coming out of the wardrobe, he heard a hurried knocking on the door.
Guessing who it was, Liam immediately went to open the door.
As Liam opened the door, another thunderclap sounded, causing Alice, who was standing outside, to shiver violently. Without waiting for Liam's reaction, she directly threw herself into his arms, hugging him tightly.
Looking at the girl holding him tightly, Liam finally reacted and stood there, asking gently, "What's wrong, Alice?"
With her slender arms tightly wrapped around Liam, Alice shrank into his embrace, trembling like a sieve, and said shakily, "Liam, big brother, I'm scared of the thunder!"
Liam looked at the trembling girl in his arms. Her pale face and intense shivering seemed genuine. So, he raised his hand, gently embraced Alice, patted her back lightly, and reassured her, "Don't be afraid, it's just thunder."
