Chapter 622 Brother-in-law's Clothes
The next day, at Imperial Capital.
Everyone in Imperial Capital knew that tomorrow was the day of Jasper's extravagant wedding with the Bush family heiress. Therefore, Jasper's groomsmen, who were actually a group of unreliable friends, planned an unconventional bachelor party for him before his wedding.
Originally, Jasper and his friends were already wild, but during this bachelor party, they went even wilder. Dozens of people, men and women, were causing all sorts of mischief.
Hayden only had Chloe and Logan in her mind, and had no interest in this 'last crazy single day'.
However, she didn't mind Jasper attending the bachelor party, knowing what kind of people Jasper and his friends were. She was afraid that if they didn't play until two or three in the morning, they wouldn't leave.
So, considerate as she was, Hayden booked the presidential suite on the top floor of the hotel where Jasper was hosting his bachelor party. This way, after he was done partying, he could retreat to rest in the suite.
Not only that, Hayden also had Jasper's clothes and accessories for the next morning sent to the hotel. This way, Jasper could sleep a little longer in the morning and leave directly from the hotel to the Kennedy family.
Inside the Kennedy family residence, although it was already ten o'clock at night, the entire residence was still bustling with activity. Over a hundred servants were still making final preparations for Hayden's wedding tomorrow.
However, after Hayden made sure Chloe and Logan were asleep, she went to take a shower and planned to rest early. After all, she had to wake up at four or five in the morning tomorrow and be busy all day.
Chloe and Logan had been living in an incubator in a sterile room for the past month due to their premature birth. Now, they no longer needed it. After a month in the incubator, with the efforts of doctors, nurses, and everyone else, Chloe and Logan were very healthy.
Chloe now weighed 3.18 pounds, slightly heavier than Logan at 3.09 pounds. Her face had become fair and tender, irresistibly charming.
Today, Teresa came to visit and was almost reluctant to leave Chloe and Logan. If Gabriel hadn't urged her, Teresa would probably have stayed overnight at the Kennedy family residence.
Since Chloe and Logan no longer needed the incubator, they were moved to the nursery upstairs, right next to Hayden's room. This way, if Hayden woke up in the middle of the night and wanted to see the children, it would be more convenient.
When Hayden returned to the bedroom to get her pajamas from the closet before taking a shower, she suddenly noticed something wrong. She found that the lining of the dress placed outside the wardrobe was not for woman, but for man.
In other words, the servants had taken the wrong lining when they sent the clothes to the hotel for Jasper.
No wonder, the man's and woman's linings were the same in terms of fabric color and style, except for the size difference. It was normal for the servants to make a mistake.
Quickly, Hayden took the lining that belonged to Jasper, intending to have the servants exchange it at the hotel.
"Hayden, aren't you resting yet?" However, as soon as she came out of the room, she met Jocelyn who had just come up from downstairs.
Jocelyn's forehead was sweaty, and her fair face was flushed, clearly tired from helping with the decorations outside.
Over the past month, she and Finn had been disciplining Jocelyn together, with the guidance of education and psychology experts. The changes in Jocelyn were visible to the naked eye.
At least now, she wasn't the same heiress who only knew how to order servants around and relied on them for everything in life. She had learned many independent skills and took the initiative to share responsibilities for Finn, this family, and even for Chloe and Logan. She had become more considerate and no longer selfish as she used to be.
Therefore, although Hayden didn't spoil her as much as before, she no longer held any grudges against her.
"Yes!" Hayden nodded. "The staff took the wrong clothes for me and Jasper, I'm having them exchanged."
Jocelyn said,"This is Jasper's..."
Hayden glanced at her. "Yes, it's Jasper's, although the color and style are the same, the size is different."
Jocelyn smiled sincerely. "Hayden, let me go and exchange it. Everyone is busy right now, I'll be quick."
Hayden looked at her, then at the lining in her hand, hesitated for a moment, and nodded. "Okay, take a bodyguard with you. Be quick."
Now that Jocelyn was willing to take the initiative to share some small tasks for her and this family. How could she refuse?
She wanted to cultivate in her the spirit of willingness to serve others, so that she wouldn't become selfish.
"Okay, Hayden, I got it. You rest early, and tomorrow you'll be the most beautiful bride in the world." With that, Jocelyn took the lining from Hayden's hand, then playfully hugged Hayden. "I'm off."
Hayden smiled and nodded. "Okay."
Jocelyn smiled happily, waved to Hayden, and then ran downstairs lightly.
