Chapter 620 Marriage Can Still End in Divorce

Jasper was a bit drunk and called Hayden when he went to the bathroom, asking her to come pick him up.

They were on the verge of getting married, and this was Jasper's first time "troubling" her. She couldn't refuse.

When she arrived at the club and pushed open the door to the private room, she saw another man on the sofa. She was slightly stunned for a moment, but quickly regained her composure.

Upon hearing the door opening, William raised his eyes. In the dim light, when his gaze met Hayden's, he coldly withdrew his gaze, showing no change in his facial expression or eyes.

"Hayden, you're here!" Jasper, not sure if he was really drunk or pretending to be, saw Hayden and waved at her from the sofa. "Come, have a drink."

There were two seductive waitresses in the room, pouring drinks. They were stunned by Hayden's queenly presence, silently bowing their heads without a word.

Hayden took her gaze off William and walked toward Jasper on the other side of the sofa.

"Come on, Hayden, have a drink." Jasper held up a glass toward her mouth as she approached.

Hayden took the glass from his hand, placed it back on the table, and then reached out to help him up. "Didn't you ask me to come pick you up? Let's go home."

"Oh, right, home." Jasper nodded and squinted at William on the side. "William, do you want to come with us and continue drinking at my place?"

William, who had been very sober, slightly smiled. "No, you go ahead."

Hayden helped Jasper up and glanced at William.

However, William did not look back at her.

She smiled slightly and exerted force to help Jasper stand up. "Let's go, we're going home."

Jasper grinned, but suddenly stumbled, and he fell toward Hayden.

She supported him, and when his tall figure leaned on her, she almost couldn't bear it, swaying herself.

William saw this and almost instinctively wanted to stand up and go help Hayden, but he managed to hold back.

Fortunately, Hayden steadied Jasper and waved for the bodyguard to come over. Together, they supported Jasper and left without looking back.

As they walked away together, there was no change in William's expression. He just sat there drinking alone.

The two sexy waitresses, seeing that he was the only one left, tried to get closer to him. William showed an impatient expression and told them to leave!

He had a few more drinks, answered a phone call, and as he was about to leave, the door of the private room sounded again, pushed open from outside.

William raised his eyes and saw Hayden returning to the room. He couldn't help but be a little stunned.

Looking at him, the next moment, Hayden closed the door behind her. Then she walked up to William and reached out to hold his neck, tiptoed, pressed her head forward, and her red lips landed on his lips.

Watching the intensely focused and affectionate face in front of him, William finally came to his senses. However, he did not push Hayden away or respond, allowing her to kiss him eagerly and clumsily.

Although she didn't get a response, Hayden remained focused and committed. The rich scent of alcohol between their lips and teeth was like a drug, crazily attracting her to want more.

After an unknown amount of time, when she was panting, she finally let go of William, looked at him, smiled brightly, and said, "Consider this kiss as your wedding gift to me. In the future, when you see me, please call me Ms. Hart."

With that, Hayden smiled again, turned around, and elegantly walked away.

Watching her disappear from his sight again, William sighed deeply and closed his eyes with complex emotions.

William stayed in Imperial Capital for three days. After that incident at the club, he didn't see Hayden again, nor did he visit the Bush family to see Chloe and Logan.

It's not that he didn't want to, but in such a sensitive situation, he didn't want to cause any unnecessary trouble.

Three days later, he returned to River North, and the wedding of Hayden and Jasper was only three days away.

After a week of business trip, William returned to the Bennett family family mansion for dinner with Teresa, Gabriel, and Robert.

After dinner, as they sat together playing with Robert, Teresa directly asked, "William, will you attend Hayden and Jasper's wedding?"

With her question, Patrick and Sophia glanced at him, but didn't say anything.

Because now, no matter what they say, it was already too late.

"I won't." William refused without hesitation.

When he got engaged to Michelle, Hayden showed up, but it was her own fault.

If he were to appear at Hayden and Jasper's wedding, it would only distract Hayden.

He didn't want any complications at their wedding, so it was better for him not to go.

"Why?" Teresa asked further.

"Help me pick a valuable gift. You'll bring it together." With that, William stood up and went upstairs directly.

"Mom, Uncle William is not happy." Robert and William had always had a good relationship, so when Robert saw William going upstairs alone, he pouted and felt a bit unhappy.

"Yes, he's really not happy. Why don't you go play with him?" Teresa looked at the child.

"Okay." Robert quickly agreed, "I'll go play with him."

Teresa smiled, intending to go upstairs with Robert to accompany William, but Gabriel held her back.

Teresa turned back and gave him a stern look. Then she sat back down and asked the waiter to take Robert upstairs to find William.

"By the way, why hasn't William brought Michelle back recently? Are they having a disagreement?" Sophia suddenly asked.

"I don't know." Teresa shook her head, then her eyes lit up. "Let me find out."

"What are you asking, whether their relationship is good or not, is their business. Don't be talking nonsense." Patrick said.

No matter what they do, William never listened to others and did things his own way. What's the use of meddling?

Teresa looked at Patrick and pursed her lips.

"Look at you, worrying for so long, has it made any difference?" Gabriel hugged her, looking at her helpless and pitiful expression, he slyly pinched her waist.

Teresa glanced at him and said, "That's not necessarily the case. The story hasn't reached its final conclusion yet."

These days, even if you were married, you could still get divorced, so what's the big deal?

Gabriel looked at her, knowing what was on her mind. His hand reached to her waist discreetly and pinched her without a sound.

Teresa glared at him.
