Chapter 574 Can't Meet
Three days later, in the CEO office on the top floor of the Bennett Group Office Building in River North, Jeffrey respectfully handed a document to William.
Yesterday, Sophia and Teresa took Croissant to his apartment. Croissant unintentionally dug out a photo of him and Hayden from the drawer, which Teresa saw.
Teresa told him that what Hayden was pregnant with was not a child, but a pair of dragon and phoenix twins.
He was very shocked at that time.
He finally understood why Hayden's belly was as big as six or seven months when she was only four months pregnant.
But he really couldn't understand. Even though he used protection, why did Hayden still get pregnant?
So, he asked Jeffrey to check.
At that moment, looking at the documents handed over by Jeffrey, he took a deep breath before accepting them.
Jeffrey received all the information from when Hayden started taking ovulation medication at the hospital, to the final prenatal check-up.
Bowing his head, he flipped through the documents in his hands, reading line by line. Finally, he fully understood how the twins in Hayden's belly came to be.
She actually stole his sperm and did in vitro fertilization.
After finishing reviewing all the documents, William leaned back in his chair, closed his eyes, clenched his teeth tightly, and gripped the documents in his hand with such force that he was even trembling uncontrollably.
At that moment, he really didn't know whether he hated Hayden a little more or loved her a little more.
How could she have taken his sperm without his knowledge to undergo IVF, resulting in a pair of twins, and played him like a fool?
Time and time again, every single time, it was her taking matters into her own hands, to the point where he didn't even have the power of being informed.
Hayden!
Gritting his teeth fiercely, William roared the name in his heart. If Hayden were in front of him at that moment, he might really have restrained himself from snapping her neck.
Never before had he felt such hatred, such anger.
In this world, no one has ever dared to deceive someone like Hayden in the name of love, playing with him like a fool time and time again.
In the end, it seemed like he was the one who made mistakes, forced to endure all the agony and pain.
‘Hayden, how could you be so selfish?’
"William,..." Jeffrey stood in front of his desk, looking at him leaning back in his chair with his eyes closed, a look of unprecedented gloom on his face, even the veins on his forehead bulging and pulsating. He spoke up with a hint of concern, "Are you okay?"
"Go find out where Hayden is right now," William ordered, gritting his teeth tightly.
This time, he must ask Hayden clearly, who gave her the courage to repeatedly play him like a fool.
"Yes, William."
"Hayden, are we moving out tomorrow?"
A week later, Hallstatt Town.
When Hayden learned from Teresa that William had flown to Skylandia and his sole purpose for coming to Skylandia was to find her, inexplicably, Hayden felt a bit flustered.
She had a bad feeling, always feeling that this time William's long journey to find her was definitely not because she was pregnant with his twins and he came to reconcile with her.
If he had reconciled with her, he wouldn't have secretly come to Skylandia to find her.
So, upon learning the news that afternoon, Hayden decided to move.
Hayden went abroad this time to have a baby, always keeping secretary Melissa by her side. She also brought along a few loyal housekeepers from The Smith family and a couple of close bodyguards.
At that moment, Melissa had everything arranged and she ran over to confirm with Hayden.
It was so strange. They were living peacefully in Hallstatt Town, and no one had ever disturbed them. I couldn't understand why Hayden suddenly decided to move away, to a small town in Crystalia, located in the southern part of Central Europe.
"Yes." Standing in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows, Hayden raised her hand to gently stroke her prominently swollen belly, looking out at the snow-covered landscape without hesitation.
"Alright, but the house decoration over in Crystalia still needs two more days. After you go over there, you might have to stay in a hotel for a few days," Melissa nodded respectfully.
"It's okay, you go ahead and make the arrangements."
"Okay."
"And, all of our movements must be kept completely secret, without revealing them to anyone," Hayden reiterated one last time.
"I understand, Hayden."
Hayden nodded, "Well, let's go down."
"Yes," Melissa nodded, respectfully stepping back.
When Melissa left, Hayden lowered her head, looking at her round and bulging belly. She sighed helplessly and said with a bitter smile, "Babies, I'm sorry. It's not that Mommy doesn't want you to see Daddy, it's just that Mommy is afraid, afraid that he will get angry."
At the garden party hosted by the Harriman family, the words William said to her are something she has never forgotten.
William blamed her for never giving him the information and decision-making power.
This time, she took his sperm without permission, did IVF behind his back, and forced him to be a father. He must have been even more furious.
His anger, she could endure, but she was afraid that the two children in her belly couldn't bear it.
So, they still didn't meet.
They are best when they are not seen.
