Chapter 360 Cruelty Unleashed: Teresa's Ordeal with Brian
Brian lifted his head, looking down at Teresa as blood trickled from the corner of her mouth. Her face was contorted in agony; pleased with himself, Brian smiled and ran a finger down from her forehead, "Teresa, you better behave, or else the pain you'll experience will be all on you."
Brian's touch was like the blade of a sharp knife, causing Teresa to tremble uncontrollably wherever it grazed.
"Brian, please, let me go, will you?" Teresa knew her struggles were futile, so she pleaded, "I swear, just let me go, and I'll give you anything you want..."
"Give me anything I want? " Brian's hands continued to roam her body as he looked at her with a wicked, unrestrained smirk. "Then how about you get rid of Gabriel for me and become my woman? Can you satisfy me with that?"
"No, no!" Teresa shook her head in utter terror. "I can give you money, a billion, two billion, however much you want."
"Money?" His laughter erupted suddenly as he stared at her. "Do you think I care for money, that it can buy back my pride as a man?"
"No, listen to me, with. With the advancements in medical technology, if you just..."
"Shut up!"
"Smack!"
Before Teresa could finish her sentence, Brian roared and slapped her across the face. The crisp sound of the slap echoed in the room, silencing Teresa.
The force of the blow was immense; Teresa's head jerked to the side, revealing five distinct finger marks on her pale cheek and a trickle of blood at the corner of her mouth.
Her head already ached, and now, reeling from the powerful slap, she felt completely dazed.
"Say one more damn word, and I'll strangle you," Brian snarled, grabbing her throat with a fierce grip.
"Brian, I beg you... please, let me go..."
"Shut up!"
Listening to Teresa's pleas, Brian's roar intensified along with the pressure of his hand, squeezing her throat mercilessly.
The strength of a man in rage is immense.
Choked of breath, Teresa's face turned ashen, her delicate brows knitted in agony. The last bit of strength drained from her body, leaving her powerless.
Her mind conjured images of Gabriel, his handsome face divine and tender, and the sound of her little angel cooing, "Mommy, mommy," in a way that melted her heart.
She couldn't die!
She had Gabriel, her son, her parents, her siblings. If she were to die, the grief it would bring to those who loved her was unbearable!
Eighteen days into January, with just ten days to go until her wedding to Gabriel.
If she were to die, where would Gabriel find another bride he cherished to take her place at the altar?
She loved Gabriel; her love for him was beginning—how could she possibly let herself die?
She couldn't die. She had to live. She must!
Teresa stopped struggling and closed her eyes. Brian, seeing her calm down, smiled and loosened his grip. He then leaned in to kiss her again.Realizing this, Teresa slowly stopped struggling, and her eyelids gradually closed.
Observing that the woman beneath him had finally calmed down, Brian cracked a smile, surprisingly easing his grip before leaning down to capture her lips once more.
The taste of blood mixed with Brian's vile scent filled Teresa's mouth, making her want to vomit. But she couldn't, lying there motionless like a fish thrown ashore, gasping for air, seemingly at death's door. Only the tears trickling from the corners of her eyes signaled that life still flickered within her.
"Why don't you struggle? Fight back!" Brian's anger reignited at the sight of Teresa lying still, as if dead like a fish. He raised his hand and, with a sharp slap, bellowed, "You playing dead?!"
With eyes shut, Teresa endured Brian's crazed beating and cursing without moving a muscle.
"Not moving, huh?" Brian was thoroughly provoked, Gritting his teeth and glaring furiously at her. "AlrightAll right, it looks like I need to teach you a lesson."
With this, he locked down her hands and bent down to sink his teeth into her flesh.
"Ugh!"
The intense pain caused Teresa's body to jerk as she let out a muffled groan.
Brian lifted his head, blood on his lips, glaring down at Teresa like a specter. "Fine, let's see how much you can bear."
With that, he went at her again like a greedy ghoul, biting into her flesh.
With each bite, a more severe pain surged through her, and Teresa could feel his sharp teeth savagely digging into her skin, peeling back her flesh, and blood slowly seeping out of the wounds.
She squeezed her fists, closed her eyes tightly, and bit down hard on her molar to keep quiet. But Brian didn't show mercy. He continued tormenting her relentlessly, causing her suffering to increase. Despite her efforts to endure silently, the pain only grew, leaving her feeling helpless and trapped. She clenched her fists, eyes tightly shut, biting hard on her molar to keep from making any noise.
But her silence didn't bring her any mercy from Brian—only more brutal torment.
Despite Teresa's pallor, drained of color and almost unconscious from the pain, Brian wasn't satisfied.
Teresa kept her eyes tightly closed, trembling on the verge of passing out. No matter how Brian roared and screamed, she clenched her jaw, stubbornly refusing to utter a sound of agony.
He could no longer treat her with humanity, but that didn't stop him from humiliating Teresa in other ways.
"Ah... Brian, I was wrong, I was always wrong, please, forgive me!" Teresa cried out, her tears and pleas for mercy emerging from depths of unprecedented pain and humiliation.
"What did you say? Say it again," basked in satisfaction, Brian finally felt appeased.
He bent down and, with a gleeful smile, asked her, "Sorry, so very sorry..." Teresa trembled violently, her face gone pale, its color drained even from her bloodstained lips.
Looking at Brian with sheer terror, she begged, "I was wrong before; I admit it; please let me go, just let me go..."
"So you admit you were wrong. What are you going to do now?" Brian asked with delight, his hand tenderly caressing her lips, already broken and bleeding.
Defiance overtook reason, and Teresa instinctively bit down hard on Brian's finger.
"Ah!"
"Damn it, you bitch, you dare bite me?!" Furious and full of scorn, Brian yanked his hand back and slapped Teresa across the face, hissing through clenched teeth. "You want to die? Fine, I'll grant you that!"
With those words, he launched another vicious assault on Teresa...
J's team had retrieved surveillance footage from within a three-mile radius of the unfinished building. Based on a timeline provided by associates of Black Third, they rapidly zeroed in on a black Audi that had left the construction site.
The streetlights provided scant illumination that night, making the surveillance images hard to decipher.
Yet the moment Gabriel laid eyes on the footage, he knew the driver was Brian, and the woman lying motionless in the backseat, her pale legs exposed, was Teresa.
Gabriel shared a bed with her every night and knew every inch of Teresa's body like the back of his hand.
The surveillance traced the black Audi heading towards a secluded dock by the sea in N city. That dock was known to service several offshore fishing platforms.
This suggested that Brian had possibly taken Teresa to one of those platforms on the water—a place from which escape would be difficult for Teresa and where outsiders couldn't easily reach.
Even if someone approached, getting away by speedboat was far more feasible than escaping on land.
From Gabriel's current location to the dock at N city, driving would take at least an hour and a half.
Gabriel couldn't wait a second longer.
He immediately had a chopper dispatched to rush to the docks of City N while on the other line, he was making a call to Big Mike, checking if there was a way to confirm if Teresa had been taken to one of the fishing platforms out at sea.
