Chapter 575 William, you are so good to me.

The next day, Hayden left Hallstatt Town and went to Crystalia.
However, she did not expect that William could persevere so well. In order to find her, he tirelessly traveled day and night, running to many places.
She believed that with William's determination, no matter where she hid, William would eventually find her.

In the end, she couldn't bear to see William continue to travel around looking for her, so she gave up on moving to another place and just let William find her.
However, she still had no intention of meeting him.

The doctor said that her uterine wall is thinner than that of a normal woman, which already posed a risk for carrying twins. Now, the babies were almost six months old, and she had to control her emotions, avoid getting excited, and maintain a positive mindset to nurture the babies.

She was really afraid to see William. She couldn't control her emotions, which led to an accident involving the two children in her belly. What should be done?

When William arrived in Crystalia early in the morning, Hayden had all her belongings packed up and moved to the basement. Then, she gave all the bodyguards and housekeepers a day off, leaving only Melissa by her side, along with one housekeeper to watch the house.
In the afternoon around three o'clock, amidst the swirling heavy snow, William's car slowly came into Hayden's view.

When he stood in front of the window of the house where she lived, almost instantly, she felt like crying.
For nearly two months, she had believed that she had let go and forgotten.
But at this moment, everything with William was turned upside down, coming in like a raging storm.

She was wrong. She didn't forget about him, let alone forget him.
She couldn't let go of him, not even for a moment did she truly let go.
Because from the beginning until now, it seems like she has been unilaterally hurting him, and he has never done anything wrong.

Melissa stood by her side, watching as she stared at the two cars approaching from afar outside the window. After a moment, tears streamed down her face, prompting Melissa to reach out and gently remind her, "Hayden, we should go to the basement now. Otherwise, William will be here soon and he will find you."

Hayden realized, wiped away the tears on her face, and replied softly, "Okay." Then, she headed straight to the basement.
William arrived, and the housekeeper who was guarding the mansion welcomed him.
However, just over a short ten minutes later, he left.

Hayden didn't know whether he truly believed she had left this place to avoid him, or if he actually knew she was in this mansion all along but didn't want to see her because she was avoiding him.

However, when the housekeeper arrived at the basement and pushed open the door to tell her that William had already left, at that moment, only heaven knows how utterly lost she felt.
It feels as if someone has taken away the first heart, leaving a big hole in the chest, with the cold wind blowing in and filling it constantly.

She emerged from the basement and stood once again in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows on the second floor, watching as those two black cars drove further and further away, gradually disappearing from her line of sight.

Suddenly, her phone vibrated in the palm of her hand. Hayden looked down and saw that it was a message from William.
Immediately, she clicked to take a look.

"William: [Hayden, from seven years ago when we met in Mapleleafia, it seems like everything was decided by you, and I didn't even have the right to be informed. Love is not an excuse for disrespect! It's been seven years, and since you chose to avoid me in the end, let's put an end to everything from now on.].”

Looking at the gentle yet determined words on William's phone screen, once again, Hayden couldn't control it, tears slowly blurred her vision.

Yes, from the beginning, it was she who took the initiative to go to William's apartment to seduce him and have sex with him. When you think about it, indeed, after they got together, every decision was made by her.
Love is not an excuse for disrespect.

William, did you know clearly that I still loved you, just like I did back when I was in Mapleleafia? If you did, why did you still choose Michelle?
I accept any woman, but it had to be Michelle.
Why did you tell me?

"William, have you not been sleeping well these days? Why have you lost weight?"

Two days later, in the CEO's office of the Bennett Group Office Building in River North, Michelle, who hadn't seen William for about ten days, immediately noticed that he had lost weight and looked much more haggard. She asked him with concern.
William went on a trip to Skylandia. Michelle thought he was just going on a business trip to discuss work, completely unaware that it had to do with Hayden.

"No problem," William said as he looked up at Michelle, reaching out to shake the hand she extended, narrowly avoiding it hitting his face. He nodded without much emotion, gently smiled, and said, "Due to the time difference, I indeed didn't sleep well. I'll make sure to get a good night's sleep tonight. What's up? Why did you look for me?"

Watching him, Michelle smiled gently, "Nothing much, I just want to take a few days off and go home to visit."

"Why do you suddenly want to go home? Do you miss your uncle and aunt? I can have someone pick them up to come over, how about that?" Holding Michelle's hand, William looked at her with concern.

Michelle looked at him and shook her head with a smile, "No need to make it so complicated, I'll just go back once."

"Michelle, did something happen that you didn't tell me?" William asked, looking at her visibly sad and sorrowful expression.
William noticed that she must have something on her mind.

Michelle looked at him, lightly biting her lip, and thought for a moment before saying, "You're so tired, just back from Skylandia. I don't want you to keep rushing around with me."

Looking at her, William furrowed his handsome brows and said, "I know you care about me, but I don't want you to hide anything from me! When you're with me, my only request is for you to be honest with me."

"Okay," Michelle nodded, her eyes filled with sadness. Finally, she spoke the truth. "It's my grandfather. He had late-stage stomach cancer and he was nearing the end."

“Why didn't you tell me earlier? I would have gone back with you," William said without hesitation.

Watching William, Michelle smiled gratefully and said, "Thank you, William, you are so kind to me."

William smiled gently, picked up the landline, and called Lily to book a flight to Summer Harbor City.
