Chapter 639 Unconcerned with Anyone's Gaze

On the dance floor, Hayden was incredibly agile, resembling the most beautiful and elegant butterfly in the world, dancing gracefully in William's arms, capturing everyone's attention as the most prominent couple in the room.

Apart from William, she paid no heed to anyone else's gaze in the room.

In her heart and eyes, there was only William. If this moment were a dream, she wished to stay in it forever, never to wake up. They danced until she exhausted all her strength, finally collapsing into William's embrace.

But it wasn't a dream, it was all real.

As a beautiful waltz came to an end, everyone paused. Instead of letting go as expected, William's hand didn't loosen its grip on Hayden. His hand moved down her back, pulling her closer to his chest. In the midst of Hayden's astonishment and anticipation, William decisively lowered his head and kissed her lips with great precision.

The kiss was passionate and lingering, carrying a long-lost feeling and taste.

With wide eyes, Hayden gazed at the handsome face so close to hers, finally confirming that it wasn't a dream after all.

William was truly her William.

Her William had returned, come back for her!

It was too good to be true, too good! In this moment, Hayden was overwhelmed with joy.

Before tears could fall, she closed her eyes, wrapped her arms around his neck, stood on her tiptoes, and passionately responded to him.

As they watched, the dance floor erupted in applause. A deep, lingering kiss after seven years apart lasted who knows how long until Hayden's breath became erratic, and William finally released her.

Resting his forehead against Hayden's, William looked at the incredibly pure and beautiful woman before him, smiling and sincerely complimenting, "Hayden, you look stunning today."

Listening to his deep, gentle voice, Hayden couldn't contain her emotions, her eyes welling up once again. She raised her lips and asked, "William, I'm not dreaming, am I?"

William's eyes sparkled with affection and focus as he looked at her, then leaned down to kiss her lips softly once more, asking in a hoarse voice, "Do you want to leave now?"

Looking at him, Hayden smiled and nodded firmly, "Yes! Wherever you go, whatever you do, I'll follow you."

William smiled, took her hand hanging by her side, held it tightly, and walked directly towards the entrance of the banquet hall, with everyone's eyes on them.

Once outside the hall, William suddenly stopped, looked at Hayden beside him, and without a word, he swiftly lifted her up in his arms.

Caught off guard, Hayden let out a soft exclamation as she was lifted off the ground.

"Are you scared?" William asked in a hoarse voice, looking at the woman in his arms.

Hooking her hands around his neck, Hayden shook her head firmly, "As long as I can be with you, I won't be afraid of anything."
"Good," William replied solemnly, then carried Hayden towards his car, walking directly without letting the driver take over, just like before.

Opening the passenger door, he placed Hayden inside, fastened her seatbelt, then moved to the driver's seat, started the car, and drove swiftly towards Hyde Park Apartment No. 1.

Hyde Park Apartment No. 1 held all their intimate memories, the happiest and most blissful place in his life over the past thirty-two years.

For the past seven years, every time he visited the Kingdom of Azurea, he would inevitably go to Hyde Park Apartment No. 1 and arrange for it to be cleaned regularly.

Everything in the apartment remained unchanged since he and Hayden left seven years ago.

Because he feared that any change might mean they could never go back.

As the car sped towards Hyde Park Apartment No. 1, Hayden turned her head and quietly watched the man with distinct features and clear lines, unable to resist reaching out to hold his hand on the steering wheel.

As her hand touched his, his large hand immediately grasped hers, kissed it gently, then glanced at her earnestly while driving.

That glance, softer and more tender than seven years ago, enveloped Hayden in an instant.

Stars and the sea.

Since the moment she decided to give her heart and body to the man before her more than seven years ago, he had become her stars and the sea.

She was just too arrogant back then to truly realize it.

Now, she understood too well that without the man before her, there would be no stars or sea for her.

The car swiftly continued towards Hyde Park Apartment No. 1. In the car, Hayden leaned her head to the side, silently watching the man within reach. They remained silent throughout the journey, but at this moment, any words would have seemed pale and powerless. The tightly held hands and occasional glances spoke volumes more than words ever could.

The apartment wasn't far, and after about ten to twenty minutes, the car entered the underground garage. As they got out of the car, William immediately pulled Hayden into his arms, cupping the back of her head with his hand, and their passionate kiss continued as the elevator doors closed.
