Chapter 538 William and Hayden
Hayden looked at Hall, then glanced at the incredibly sharp military knife that had been thrust into her hand. At that moment, her heart was filled with rage.
William closed his eyes, listening to their conversation. He weakly curled his lips into a cold and mocking smile.
He actually hoped that Hayden would stab him with the knife. That way, they could completely sever their ties and owe nothing to each other.
From then on, he would no longer owe her anything.
"Drag William over here." Although Hayden tried her best to disguise it, her silence and the sadness in her eyes betrayed her.
William was Hayden's ex-boyfriend. If it weren't for Sophia forcing Finn to pressure Hayden into having an abortion, Hayden would have almost had William's child.
Hall would never let him off easily.
So, no matter what, he would make sure Hayden stabbed William.
"Yes," the bodyguard replied, immediately dragging William over to where Hayden and Hall stood.
"Hall, you're joking, right?"
Hall shook his head.
Hayden looked at Hall in astonishment. Hall tightly held her hand, and with the sharp military knife in her hand, she stabbed it toward William.
In an instant, a painful scream exploded in Hayden's ears. She turned her head and instantly widened her eyes in immense shock.
She thought, 'How could this be? How could I? How could the knife in my hand stab William? It wasn't me, it wasn't!'
Hayden snapped back to reality, trembling uncontrollably.
The pain quickly spread from William's abdomen throughout his body.
William's body began to tremble.
He wanted to open his eyes and see what expression Hayden had on her face.
But he was afraid that if he looked, he would feel despair and sadness.
He thought, 'Forget it, forget it!
Everything ends here.'
"Hayden, you're so obedient. I'm starting to love you more and more, especially the way you are in bed now. Don't worry. I will never mistreat you in the future." Hall held Hayden's hand and looked at her never-before-seen expression of terror, smiling with satisfaction. He let go of her hand and forcefully kissed her on the face. Then he embraced her, and they left together. He happily said, "I'll take you to a good place."
Hayden let Hall embrace her as they left, but her gaze remained on William's abdomen. She looked at the military knife stuck in his abdomen and the blood that kept flowing out.
As she watched Hall leave with Hayden in his arms, the bodyguards simply abandoned William and left.
As soon as the two bodyguards restraining William let go, he no longer had the strength to support his own body and collapsed to the ground.
'Am I dying?' he wondered.
William seemed to no longer feel his own heartbeat or breath.
But he knew he would never easily fall in love with someone else again.
"Mr. Bennett, Mr. Bennett!" After Hall left with Hayden and all the bodyguards, William's driver finally rushed into the compartment with people.
Seeing William lying in a pool of blood, motionless and barely breathing, the driver was terrified. He shouted a few times, but when he saw that William didn't react at all, he immediately lifted him up with the help of others. "Quick, take him to the hospital."
Hayden didn't know how Hall took her away. She sat down in another compartment.
Her mind was blank.
When she finally reacted, her instinct pushed Hall away, and then she quickly stood up and rushed out.
She ran back to the previous compartment as if she were crazy.
However, when she pushed the door open and went in, she found that William was no longer there.
