Chapter 603 Michelle and William Living Together
"Sweetheart, what's wrong?" Teresa, who had been playing with Chloe and Logan, noticed Gabriel's unease and turned her head to ask.
"Do you like Chloe and Logan that much?" Gabriel looked at her with tender affection in his deep eyes.
Teresa nodded. "Of course, I am their real aunt, and their second mom too."
Gabriel smiled at her, leaning down to kiss her forehead. "If you love them so much, let's have two of our own in the future."
Teresa pouted, gave him a glance, and ignored him, continuing to play with Chloe and Logan.
After making sure that Chloe and Logan were doing well, Teresa spent half an hour with Hayden before leaving the hospital.
As she left the hospital, she thought of something and texted William to ask where he was.
William quickly replied, saying he was at the Bennett family.
"Sweetheart, you go ahead with your work. I'm going to see my brother," Teresa said to Gabriel after receiving William's reply.
"Is it about him and Hayden again?" Gabriel frowned, displeased.
Teresa immediately pouted, asking, "Is it not Okay?"
Looking at her, Gabriel compromised quickly and siad, "Alright, of course, it's Okay. I'll go with you."
"No need. Don't you have a meeting at ten? You go ahead. I just miss my brother and want to see him," Teresa quickly shook her head and refused.
Gabriel looked at her, feeling helpless.
Finally, Gabriel compromised and went to Capital Construction due to Teresa's insistence, while Teresa went to the Bennett family alone.
Of course, no matter where Teresa went now, Gabriel had arranged a group of bodyguards to follow her to ensure her safety.
"Teresa, weren't you traveling with Gabriel? Why are you back so soon?" Michelle appeared behind her when Teresa was waiting for the elevator, greeting her warmly with a smile.
Although Teresa still couldn't bring herself to like Michelle, she was William's fiancée after all, she had to show some respect to Michelle.
So Teresa politely smiled and said, "Yes, we just got back today."
"How was it? Did you have fun?" Michelle asked, still smiling.
Michelle was not informed about Gabriel's accident, so she had no idea.
Teresa smiled again and answered politely and simply, "It was good."
"Really?" Michelle smiled happily. "I was thinking, when your brother and I get married, maybe we should also travel to Frostpeak Republic. I'd love to get your recommendations on the best places to visit."
"You're marrying my brother?" Teresa was stunned. "When?"
Michelle smiled blissfully. "I just moved in with him today. As for the wedding date, we haven't decided yet."
Her brother was actually moved in with Michelle.
Teresa furrowed her brows slightly, feeling complicated.
William had not only gotten engaged to Michelle but was now living with her. Was there any point in talking to him about Hayden anymore?
If Hayden found out that William was living with Michelle, she didn't know how Hayden would react.
Just then, the elevator arrived on the first floor, and the elevator door slowly opened.
Seeing the elevator door open but Teresa still standing there motionless, Michelle asked, "Teresa, aren't you going in?"
Teresa snapped out of it, smiled, and walked into the elevator, with Michelle following her.
"Are you coming home for dinner tonight? If you are, should we go back together with your brother?" Inside the elevator, Michelle smiled and asked Teresa as it started to ascend.
Teresa smiled. "I'm not sure yet."
Knowing Teresa didn't like her, Michelle stopped pushing and just smiled without saying more.
When the elevator reached the floor where the finance department was located, Michelle left, while Teresa went to the CEO's office on the top floor.
Seeing her arrival, Lily and the other secretaries were quite happy, respectfully calling out to her.
This was Teresa's first visit to The Bennett since getting married. The Garcia family's housekeeper had thoughtfully prepared gifts for everyone, which Teresa handed to Lily to distribute before heading to William's office.
William was in a meeting with two senior executives. Seeing Teresa, he asked her to wait and continued his discussion without any hesitation.
Teresa waited for more than ten minutes until the two executives respectfully left. Then Teresa sat in front of William with a sullen face, looking quite unhappy.
"What's wrong? Did Gabriel upset you?" William asked knowingly, seeing her unhappy expression,
Teresa glared at him. "Brother, what are you thinking? Chloe and Logan are your own children. Are you really not going to give them a complete family?"
William leaned back in his chair, sighed deeply, "Teresa, didn't you also like Liam before? He liked you too. Why didn't you end up together?"
Teresa looked at him in silence.
"Because of Yvonne, right?" Seeing Teresa's silence, William answered for her and continued. "Two people being together means combining two families. It's not just about love."
"But Mom and Dad really like Hayden. They also hope you will marry Hayden." Teresa furrowed her brows.
William shook his head. "It's not because of Mom and Dad."
"Then it's because of Hayden's family?" Teresa finally understood and confirmed.
William looked at her, pulling a helpless smile without saying anything, and picked up a document to read.
"But you don't love Michelle at all. Don't you feel unhappy being with her?" Teresa asked again.
"Well, you didn't love Gabriel at first either," William replied casually.
Alright! Teresa was suddenly speechless, feeling frustrated. "Okay, I got it. I will talk to Hayden and find another father for Chloe and Logan as soon as possible."
"Alright, that's for the best," William agreed coldly.
Teresa looked at him, feeling helpless.
She realized she had been worrying too much.
She had been so concerned about William and Hayden, but William's attitude...
"William, you're becoming more and more unbearable, I'm leaving," Teresa said grumpily, took her bag, and left.
William watched her go, frowned slightly, took a deep breath, and returned to his work.
