Chapter 92 Woman in Love, Man Less So

He must have lost it, chasing her into the ladies!

"Gabriel, you...Mmm!"

Before Teresa could finish her sentence, Gabriel closed the gap with two strides, his hand reaching out to hold the back of her head, his lips finding hers with unerring precision and capturing her soft, rosy lips.

"Mmm..."

As usual, her fists clenched into fists and pounded on his torso. She didn't appear to like his kisses, even though they had been married for days. It wasn't that she was fussy. He always caught her off guard with his unorthodox approach, which left her dizzy and unable to keep up or accept it easily.

"Sweetheart, you look so gorgeous today; a kiss is all I want, okay?" Gabriel suddenly released her, his forehead resting against hers, his dark, fiery gaze locked on her, their breaths entwining, his voice husky and seductive.

Teresa raised her gaze to meet his and was struck, once again, by his piercingly passionate presence, his alluring voice, and his incredibly attractive face; everything about him was enchantingly disarming.
So, as if possessed, she nodded, consenting.

Seeing her nod, only heaven knew the excitement and urgency that surged through Gabriel at that moment. Then, he leaned in closer.

The kiss, nearly frantic, slowly drew a response from Teresa.

Feeling her begin to reciprocate, every cell in Gabriel's body erupted with fervor.

"Mmm! Gabriel."

But as his hand involuntarily moved around Teresa's body, she abruptly shivered, turned away, and pushed him off her.

Caught off guard, Gabriel stumbled back, not the slightest bit irritated. Instead, he chuckled softly.

"You're breaking your promise, don't come any closer!" Teresa warned him, eyes ablaze.

"Heh..." A laugh escaped Gabriel, a mixture of torment and a pitiful plea in his stare. "Honey, I couldn't help myself!"
"That’s why you're not allowed to come closer," Teresa raised her voice, her hand instinctively covering her chest.

"Honey, I feel awful," Gabriel whined, playing up his misery to the hilt.

Teresa turned away, flustered, "That's your problem, not mine. Remember, Gabriel, if you break any part of our agreement, then you can forget about touching me ever again."

With that, she snatched her purse and made to dart out of the room.

But before she could take a step, she found herself pulled back into a broad chest.

"Honey, how will I survive without you?” Gabriel tightened his hold around her and nuzzled into her neck like a little boy.

"Gabriel!" Teresa’s whole body shook with nervous tension as she tried to push him away. "Can't you act like a man and stick to your word?"

"So, you think I’m not man enough right now? Maybe you should let me prove it," Gabriel retorted.

"Well, well, you're really manly," she said, his aroma of masculinity threatening to escape and fill the tiny bathroom. How could she say anything different?

But Teresa was nearing the end of her rope!

No man had ever been this shamelessly improper. Especially not in the Harriman family estate; this wasn't the Garcia resident.

So, she pleaded, "Gabriel, I'm here at the Harriman’s residence for a birthday party, can you just stop it, please? Otherwise, I'm really going to get mad!"

"Alright, I'll stop. Just let me hold you a little longer, just a hug, that's all." Gabriel had made it his principle not to upset Teresa, so he held back, behaving himself.

"Gabriel!" She didn't buy his word for a second.

"Honey, stop squirming, it only makes it harder for me. I promise, just a hug, five minutes, and we're done."

His breath was hot, his low voice pleading, and as Teresa listened to him, her resolve melted and she found herself motionless in his embrace.

"Why didn't you wear the dress I gave you? Don't you like it?" Gabriel murmured right next to her ear as he held her.

"Yes, I don't like it. It's gaudy!" Teresa didn't mince words.

Rubbing his chin against the area above her chest, Gabriel pretended to be injured before saying, "Then next time I'll order a few more, and you can pick."

Teresa, "..."

Forget it, she decided not to explain. That dress he'd given her, she had planned to wear it some other time.

Teresa fell silent, but Gabriel didn't push further. They just stayed there quietly, Gabriel's body gradually calming down until, after about five or six minutes, he really did let go.
"Honey, ..."

"Get out. I need to freshen up my makeup!" As soon as Gabriel released her and was about to say something, Teresa instinctively stepped back, pointing toward the door.

Her hair was a mess thanks to Gabriel, and if she stepped out like this, people would surely notice something was off.

Gabriel chuckled lowly, reaching out, "Let me help."

"No, just go!" Teresa retreated two more steps.

"I'll ask Aaron to find a private spot for just the two of us."

"You wouldn't dare!" Teresa threatened, "If you let the Harrimans find out about us now, I'm out of here."

Looking at her, Gabriel's laughter grew more devilish, "You're so cute when you're fierce, honey."

Teresa was on the verge of a meltdown, her pretty face fell, "Are you leaving or not?"

"Okay, okay, don't be mad. I'm going. Right now." With that, he quickly stepped toward her and planted a kiss on her forehead, "I'm off."

Teresa glared at him.
