Chapter 589 Stimulate Again

Hayden couldn't fall asleep in the middle of the night. Later, when she finally fell asleep, she was woken up again by the two little babies in his belly after only sleeping for two hours. After that, she couldn't fall back asleep and could only keep her eyes open until dawn.

Her belly was getting bigger, pressing on her organs and nerves, exacerbated by the previous accident. She had to lie in bed as much as possible and couldn't walk around. Hayden had never imagined such uncomfortable days.
Moreover, her belly is so big now, it's not easy for her to turn over.

During her first pregnancy, she remembers clearly that at five months, she could even run and dance. However, now pregnant with twins, at seven months, she was confined, unable to move freely. Even taking a few steps after getting out of bed required extreme caution.
It's a good thing she's not lying in a hospital bed with nothing to do. There are always things that can help her temporarily forget the difficulties of being trapped and unable to move.

In the morning, Melissa and the nurse helped her get ready, the doctor finished the examination, and as she was getting ready to have breakfast, Teresa's phone rang.
She and Gabriel were going on their honeymoon. The honeymoon destination was chosen as Frostpeak Republic. Originally, she wanted to mention that Jocelyn was also in Frostpeak Republic, but she didn't want to disrupt their sweet time together. So, Hayden didn't say anything, just wished them both a pleasant honeymoon.

Of course, she was lying in the hospital, and of course, she wouldn't tell Teresa, otherwise, Gabriel wouldn't let her off.
Thinking about Gabriel's affection for Teresa, Hayden chuckled self-deprecatingly.

Actually, there was a man who loved his wife as much as Gabriel did, so everything she gave was worth it.
Just like how William used to dote on her back then.
If she had never experienced it, she would never know what kind of sweet happiness it was. But once she had it, losing it would become a lifelong obsession, never wanting to move on.
When having breakfast, Finn arrived. They had breakfast together and then asked the doctor if she could possibly transfer back to the hospital in Imperial Capital.

The doctor said the risk was too high. In case something happened on the plane, both she and her child would be in danger. So, Finn decisively gave up and decided to stay in River North, waiting for Hayden to give birth to the child. They would figure things out once they were safe and sound.

"Dad, with so many people around, I'll be fine. You should head back to Imperial Capital first." Hayden felt uneasy, asking Finn to stay with her in River North.

"Hayden, listen to me, take good care of yourself and the baby. Everything will be okay. We'll talk more after you give birth," Finn said affectionately, gently patting Hayden's hand.
If he returned to the Imperial Capital, in case of an emergency where Hayden needed someone to take charge, he had to stay.

Finn stood firm, and Hayden didn't say anything more. She nodded and smiled, saying, "Then I'll listen to you. Thanks, Dad."

Finn nodded affectionately, "You can now rest assured and focus on nurturing the baby. Nothing is more important than you and the child. I will take care of everything else."

"Okay," Hayden nodded, feeling instantly warmed inside.
Just then, Hayden's phone rang again. Melissa, who was beside her, saw that it was Isabella calling and immediately handed the phone to her.

"Grandma." Hayden took the phone and immediately answered the call.

"I heard you had an accident in River North, and the babies are about to be born?" On the phone, Hayden's grandmother heard the news and immediately called Hayden, feeling extremely worried.

"Grandma, if I were to have a baby soon, do you think I could still answer your calls so easily like I do now?" Hayden replied with a light-hearted tone, smiling.

"No, you're about to have a baby. How could I not be by your side? I have to go to River North right now." She understood Hayden's temperament well. The more she had something important going on, the more she pretended like nothing was happening in front of others. That's why she didn't believe her.

"Grandma, I'm really fine. You don't need to come to River North. Just wait a few days until I go back, then you'll be able to see me."

"Alright, your grandmother is worried about you. If she wants to come, let her come. I'll have someone pick her up, nothing will happen," Hayden's voice had just faded when Finn spoke up.

"Exactly, I went to River North today, just to see you and feel at ease," Finn said. Hearing this, Hayden's grandmother on the other end of the phone exclaimed joyfully.

Hayden listened to her grandmother's happy voice like a child and had to compromise. She smiled and said, "Okay, Grandma, I will arrange for someone to pick you up now. Let me have someone help you pack up."

"You and the child, you must wait for Grandma to come," Hayden's grandmother solemnly reminded over the phone.
In her middle age, she lost her husband and her son. In her later years, she also lost her daughter. The old lady kept praying to God, asking for blessings to keep Hayden and her children safe.

"Okay, Grandma, don't worry, the babies and I will definitely wait for you to come."

"Okay," Hayden's grandmother chuckled in agreement before hanging up the phone.

Watching Hayden hang up the phone, Finn immediately instructed the butler to arrange for someone to pick up Isabella at River North.
With Isabella by his side, Hayden felt much more at ease.

He stayed in the hospital for a while, where they discussed some company matters. Finn had some things to take care of, so he asked Hayden to rest, and then he left the hospital.

Hayden was indeed tired. As soon as Finn left, he started feeling a bit drowsy.
However, she hadn't fallen asleep yet when Melissa came in to tell her that the couple, Patrick and Sophia, had arrived.
How did they come? Could it be that William told them?
With that in mind, Hayden immediately summoned up his energy and asked them to come in.
However, what she didn't expect was that, accompanying the couple Patrick, was none other than Michelle.

"Hayden, how are you?" Sophia entered the inner ward and immediately noticed Hayden lying on the hospital bed, unable to conceal his exhaustion, her large belly resting on the bed. She walked over quickly, full of concern, and asked.

"Patrick, Sophia," Hayden smiled as she looked at Patrick and Sophia, then she struggled to prop herself up, trying to sit up.

Sophia came to the bedside and quickly stopped her, "Hayden, don't move, just lie down, lying down is fine."

"Yeah, you're lying down, don't move," Patrick said affectionately behind Sophia.
Perhaps loving everything about someone, Teresa was the apple of his eye. Hayden was Teresa's best friend, and on top of that, she was carrying a pair of dragon and phoenix twins in her belly with William. Patrick truly had feelings for Hayden.

Michelle followed behind, seeing how caring and loving Sophia and Patrick were towards Hayden, she found it ironic. Despite that, she wore a gentle expression of concern and guilt on her face as she walked over and said, "Hayden, how are you? Are you okay? William told me you were hospitalized here, so I informed my parents and came with them to see you."

Looking at Michelle, Hayden smirked openly as he listened to her referring to Patrick and Sophia without any pretense.
Did Michelle declare her status as William's wife in front of her?

"Michelle, others are not sure why I was hospitalized, are you still unclear?" Although Hayden, with two little ones in her belly, looked haggard and far from well, the moment she spoke, she exuded an absolute dominance that overwhelmed Michelle, who was wearing exquisite makeup.
When Hayden said that, of course, Patrick and Sophia's puzzled gazes turned to Michelle.

"I was lying in the hospital to protect the baby. Did William tell you that?!" Looking at Michelle, without giving her any chance to speak, Hayden sneered mockingly and continued, "It's a joke! At least the child in my belly is William's. What was his purpose in telling you that I was lying in the hospital? Was it to provoke me again, so that both my child and I would die, and then you could happily become Mrs. Bennett, Lauren?"

Michelle looked at Hayden, she didn't expect that Hayden would say such words to her in front of Patrick and Sophia. In an instant, her carefully made-up face could no longer conceal the panic that started to set in.
