Chapter 523 William and Hayden
At that time, the grandmother said to her, "Child, you're still young. There's still a chance."
Although grandmother didn't specify what chance it was, as clever as Hayden was, how could she not understand the meaning behind grandmother's words?
Looking at grandmother, Hayden nodded, "Yes, it can only be him."
Her grandmother's expression turned serious as she asked, "Have you thought about what might happen if you have this child?"
Since Hayden had already made up her mind, her grandmother wouldn't stop her; after all, it was a life.
However, Grandmother had lived for seventy years and understood far more than Hayden did.
Hayden shook her head, "I won't let Raymond know about the existence of this child."
"There are no walls that can keep secrets forever; Raymond and Sophia will find out sooner or later," Grandmother said confidently.
"Then let them find out," Hayden replied, more determined.
"Child, grandmother is not stopping you from having this child; grandmother just doesn’t want your decision to hurt others and yourself in the end," the grandmother said, gripping Hayden's hand, her words carrying weight and wisdom.
When Mia Petrova was still alive, grandmother thought she understood her son-in-law Finn, but since Mia Petrova's death, grandmother couldn't figure out Finn at all.
He valued dignity and reputation, but he married a mistress after her daughter's death and insisted that Hayden marry someone from The Johnson family.
To outsiders, these things were all ridiculous.
But Finn was determined to do it.
So now, Finn is being captivated by Sophia, and his standards for people and things are completely different.
"Grandmother, things haven't hit rock bottom yet, so I can't be worrying so much," Hayden said, shaking her head.
Right now, all she wants is to safely and secretly give birth to the child. She can't think of anything else.
"So, you came to see your grandmother to ask for help?" the grandmother asked, clearly understanding Hayden's intentions.
"Yes." Hayden nodded, her eyes almost pleading, "Can you help me?"
Grandmother looked at her, let out a barely audible sigh, and directly asked, "What do you want me to do?"
"I want you to call Raymond and tell him that you're not feeling well. I hope that I can come and stay with you for a while. Is that possible?" Hayden looked at his grandmother, almost begging.
Grandmother nodded and said very clearly, "This will definitely be discovered eventually. You can't stay in this house all the time without going out, and besides, not everyone in this house can be trusted."
"Then what should I do, grandmother?" Hayden asked anxiously.
Grandmother sighed deeply, pondered for a moment as she looked into the distance, and said, "Okay, here's what we'll do. Tonight, I will call Raymond and say that I'm not feeling well. I will ask you to come and stay with me for a few days. After a few days, I will have someone contact a doctor from abroad and say that I need to go overseas for treatment, and you will accompany me."
"Great!" Hayden exclaimed, overjoyed, as she threw herself into her grandmother's arms and hugged her tightly.
Grandmother nodded lovingly and hugged her back, gently stroking her back, as she asked, "Have you thought about what to do after the child is born?"
"I'll send the child to foster care abroad first, or maybe just hand the child over to William," Hayden answered without hesitation.
Grandmother nodded. "I hope everything you do is worth it."
"It will be worth it, for sure."
After having dinner with the Petrova family, Hayden finally returned home. As she entered the living room, she immediately spotted Finn sitting on the couch, leaning over with his head against Sophia's belly, looking like an excited child experiencing something for the first time. Sophia sat there, holding onto Finn's head, displaying an obvious expression of happiness.
