Chapter 648 The Grand Finale (Five)

The girl, seventeen or eighteen years old, had fully developed physically. Just like that, Alice held Liam tightly, her soft body pressed against his without any gap, as if they were one. Liam was a man, and it had been a long time since he had touched anyone. Although he knew very well that the girl in his arms at the moment was off-limits, being his sister, he couldn't help the reaction his body had, but he managed to restrain himself.

"Good girl, come in first," Alice was held by Liam like this, and it wasn't a big deal, so Liam gently patted her back and said, "If you're really scared, I'll have two people come up to keep you company."

Alice still held him tightly, trembling and shaking her head, pleading, "Liam, can I... stay in your room for a while... can we talk?"
"Okay," Liam agreed without hesitation, continuing to coax her, "But you have to let go first."

If she continued to hold on like this, it would be dangerous.

"Mm... Mm." Alice nodded, finally letting go of Liam little by little. As soon as she let go, Liam felt relieved and instead held her small hand, closed the door, and led her to the sofa in the room. The girl was probably really scared, Liam felt her hand was very cold as he held it.

"You sit down first."

"Liam, where are you going?" Pressing Alice's shoulder to make her sit down, Liam turned to get a towel and bathrobe for her. Alice grabbed his wrist in fear and asked,

"Your hair is wet. You'll catch a cold." Looking at her, Liam smiled gently, "Good, I'll go get a towel for you."

Watching him, Alice nodded, and then slowly let go of him. However, as soon as Liam turned to leave, Alice immediately stood up and followed him closely. Liam glanced back at her, feeling helpless, so he had to let her follow him. In the dressing room, Liam took one of his own bathrobes for Alice. Alice was puzzled, looking at him with bright eyes.

Liam looked at her, smiled helplessly, and said directly, "Your nightgown is a bit wet, put this on."

Alice suddenly realized what was happening and looked down... When she saw the wet spot on her chest, she was startled, turned around immediately, and faced away from Liam.

"Put it on!" Liam handed her the bathrobe again.

"Okay." Alice quickly took it and put it on. Perhaps feeling too embarrassed, she forgot her fear in an instant, forgot about the lightning and thunder outside, and a blush slowly crept up on her originally pale face. Watching her wrap herself in the bathrobe, Liam took a towel for her.

Alice took it again, said "Thank you," and then buried her head to quietly dry her hair.

Seeing her cute and embarrassed appearance, Liam couldn't help but smile and brought a hairdryer from the bathroom, saying, "Sit on the sofa, I'll dry your hair for you."

Alice shook her head, "Liam, I can do it myself."

"It's okay, go sit down," Liam insisted. Seeing his insistence, Alice didn't say anything more and obediently returned to the sofa to sit down. Liam plugged in the hairdryer, stood behind her, and started blow-drying her hair. At almost thirty-two years old, it seemed like it was his first time blow-drying a woman's hair, but everything felt so natural. Thinking about this, Liam couldn't help but smile. Alice sat on the sofa with her long legs curled up like a good little girl. Because Liam's bathrobe was long and large, although Alice was tall at 172cm, her feet were still covered by Liam's bathrobe.

The warm air blowing on her cold scalp, the man's warm fingers acting as a comb, passing through her long hair and touching her scalp, made Alice shiver slightly, not out of fear, but as if a subtle electric current was flowing rapidly from her scalp to her whole body. This feeling was strange and wonderful. Apart from her beloved father, Cyrus Times, a top domestic art master, Liam was the first man to blow-dry her hair. How could such meticulous gentleness not move her heart?

"Done." After about five or six minutes of blow-drying, Liam finally dried Alice's long hair, turned off the hairdryer, and set it aside.

"Liam, do you often blow-dry girls' hair?" Turning her head, Alice looked at Liam with flushed cheeks and asked. The girl was really young, her face blushing like a red apple, fair and tender, incredibly enticing.

Liam glanced at her, smiled, then sat down on the single sofa beside her and shook his head, "No."

"Do you not have a girlfriend?" Alice looked at him and boldly asked.

Liam looked at her, pondered for a moment, "Not at the moment."

"Liam, you're such a handsome and mature man, how come you don't have a girlfriend?" Alice tilted her head, looking at him with a puzzled expression, "Maybe your standards are too high, and you can't find anyone you like."

Liam smiled, changed the subject, "You must have just finished the college entrance exam, right?"

"Yes." Alice nodded, "Took it the day before yesterday."

"Do you want to study abroad?" Liam asked her.

Alice shook her head, "No."

"Why not?" Liam inquired.

"I used to be abroad a lot when I was young, and I'm tired of it. I think the art school at River North University is good." Alice answered with bright eyes, looking at Liam without blinking. Liam nodded,

"You want to study at the art school of River North University?"

"Yes." Alice nodded firmly, "I'm worried I won't get in, my academic grades aren't very good."

"You can do it. You'll definitely get in," Liam encouraged her. With her father being Cyrus Times, a top domestic art master, River North University's art school would surely accept Alice.

Looking at Liam, Alice smiled broadly, "Liam, you're so kind, thank you."

"Boom!" Before Alice could finish saying "you," a thunderclap sounded, uncontrollably causing her to shiver violently again. The next moment, she jumped off the sofa and threw herself into Liam's arms, hugging him tightly once more. Liam was caught off guard by Alice's strong reaction to the thunder. He wanted to push her away, but seeing her trembling in his arms, he couldn't bear to do so.

"Alice, don't be afraid, it's just thunder, it won't harm you." Liam could only gently stroke her back and comfort her.

"My mother passed away on a night like this, I'm sorry, Liam." Alice raised her head from Liam's embrace, tears beginning to shimmer in her bright eyes.

Liam looked at her, feeling a sudden softness in his heart, raised his hand to gently rub her long hair, and softly said, "Don't be afraid. Everything will be okay."

Alice looked at him with shimmering eyes, nodded heavily, and then pleaded, "Can I sleep here tonight? I'll sleep on the sofa."

"Alice, how old are you?" Liam suddenly asked as he looked at the girl in his arms.

"I'll be eighteen in a month." Alice answered, lightly biting her lip.

"You're almost an adult." Liam smiled softly, then looked at Alice and asked, "Do you know how old I am?"

"You're almost thirty-two." Alice looked at him with clear eyes and replied softly.

"Yes, I'm an adult man. If you sleep in my room, aren't you afraid that I might not be able to control myself and do something to you?" Liam tried to restrain himself, but his voice, already hoarse, was slipping out of his control.

Alice still huddled in his arms, sitting on his lap, looking at him, shaking her head, "You won't! Besides, even if you did, it wouldn't matter. We're not related by blood. We're not relatives."

"Alice, it's not like that, we..."

"Liam, my first time is meant for a man anyway. Instead of giving it to someone else, I'd rather give it to you." Before Liam could refuse, Alice interrupted him directly, her fearless and firm gaze seeming to understand everything despite her innocence. Liam was somewhat shocked by the directness of today's girls. Or perhaps, her saying she was scared to come to him was just an excuse. No, she seemed genuinely scared.
"Shouldn't a girl's first time be saved for the man she loves?" After a moment of shock, Liam asked.

Alice looked at him and nodded, "Liam, I really like you."

"Because you see me as a brother. That's why you like me, not love." Liam lifted Alice horizontally, carried her to his large bed, and gently touched her long hair, saying,

"Sleep, you take the bed, I'll take the sofa."

Alice held his hand, looked up at him, and asked, "Liam, you won't leave, right?"

Liam looked at her with a gentle smile, "I won't, go to sleep."

"Okay."
