Chapter 101 It's Done

After William finished his arrangements, he quickly returned to Sophia's villa.

Kylie was a bit surprised to see William back so soon.

"Why are you back so quickly?" she asked, feeling a bit speechless. She wanted a moment of peace and quiet, but this person was not giving her a chance. He was really annoying!

"I've already sent someone to clear out those flies. They should be gone by dinner time, and there won't be any paparazzi around for the next month either," William said casually.

The flies he referred to were those paparazzi who specialized in secretly photographing celebrities.

"You had someone clear out those paparazzi?" Kylie couldn't help but be amazed. She didn't believe this poor guy had the ability to do that.

"Yeah, you'll see when you go outside later!" William said after looking at the sky.

"Okay, I'll wait and see!" Kylie didn't believe that William could clear out all the paparazzi lurking outside so quickly.

In the evening, Kylie, unwilling to accept it, put on a mask and quietly went out. When she arrived outside the villa area, she saw a shocking scene.

Many security guards were patrolling outside, and all the paparazzi who had been lurking outside had disappeared. Even if pedestrians passed by and stayed for a while, they would be urged to leave by the security guards. It was even more impossible for anyone to take out their phones or cameras and take pictures inside the villa compound.

"Oh my god, who is William? How could he bring so many security guards to clear out the place!" Kylie was shocked. She roughly counted, and there were at least fifty of them just at the main gate of the villa. If it was the same for other areas, how many people would be needed to achieve the goal of clearing out the area?

Kylie took a few more steps forward. The paparazzi van that had been parked at the villa gate had disappeared, and the people lingering on the opposite flower bed were also gone. Even the newsstand had closed to prevent those paparazzi from pretending to buy newspapers while actually taking sneaky photos.

"It really has been cleared out!" Kylie murmured in astonishment.

Kylie was startled and quickly turned back to the villa. However, William was already waiting for her at the gate.

"How about that? I told you I got rid of those paparazzi!" William said with a smile.

"How did you manage that? You actually commanded so many security guards?" Kylie began to doubt William's identity.

"My uncle is in charge here, so I just told him, and he helped me take care of it!" William had already prepared his explanation.

"Your uncle is in charge here?" Kylie was completely speechless this time.

"Yes, take a look at this contract!" William handed a contract for "Wilderness Life" to Kylie as he spoke.

Not only was Kylie dumbfounded, even Sophia, who was watching TV, was momentarily stunned. How did this person even have the contract prepared?

Once this contract was signed, it was not a joke.

William had brought the contract with him before coming. It was originally prepared for Ava from the Plan B, but she had been signed by CY Entertainment. However, this contract could still be used, as the names on it were still blank.

"No way, you brought the contract too!" Kylie and Sophia were shocked, with the former carefully examining the contract.

"If you are not satisfied with the appearance fee stated on it, I can have it modified until you are satisfied." William sat down. Now was the time to discuss the collaboration.

Upon hearing this, Sophia also put down the TV remote and walked over wearing cute slippers.

Kylie and Sophia examined the contract carefully and noticed that the appearance fee listed was very professional. It wasn't hastily drafted.

"You were prepared for this, weren't you!" Kylie finally realized that she had been tricked by William.

Suddenly, Sophia also understood why William had mentioned "Wilderness Life" earlier. It turned out that he had a purpose in mind.

"William, what do you do? How did you come up with the idea of inviting me to join 'Wilderness Life'?" Sophia wasn't stupid. Although she also wanted to get some fresh air in the wilderness, she didn't want to participate without knowing the full story.

"I'm the department manager at High Culture, and 'Wilderness Life' is my creation." William briefly introduced his identity and profession, then explained how the rival company had targeted him, hoping to gain their sympathy.

"I never expected you to be the producer of 'Wilderness Life.' You are quite talented." Sophia's eyes lit up as she looked at William properly for the first time.

When this program was first launched, it was quite popular in America and opened a new direction in variety shows. As soon as it was launched, it became a nationwide sensation. Sophia was also interested in participating, but she was troubled by her aunt's refusal to let her join such an outdoor program.

"Let's make a bet. Sign this contract!" William didn't want to waste any more time and wanted Sophia to sign the contract quickly.

"Sorry, I need to observe this further. If the paparazzi don't show up tomorrow morning either, I'll let Sophia sign the contract." Kylie was trying to delay and give Sophia time to consider the pros and cons. After all, this would be Sophia's first time participating in a variety show, especially one that is outdoors.

There would definitely be a media explosion surrounding this topic, but whether it would be good or bad, she needed to evaluate it specifically.

Plus, she hadn't paid much attention to the show "Wilderness Life." She would have to catch up on it tonight before making a decision. She didn't want this show to tarnish Sophia's well-established reputation accumulated over the years.

"Okay, then take your time to think it over tonight! I'll cook for you two," William said, rolling up his sleeves, trying to gain some goodwill.

"You're a man and you can cook?" Kylie and Sophia were slightly surprised. Coming from the Smith family, they had no cooking skills. The few times they attempted, it turned out to be horribly inedible. So, they usually opted for takeout or dining out.

"Yeah, I can cook pretty well. I even had a professional teacher." William nodded. It wasn't an arrogant statement, but a fact. When he was dating Madison, he was the one who did all the cooking.

Even after moving into Crown Villa and having Wendy, the professional cook, he still occasionally cooked for himself. Wendy had even given him a few pointers, so William's dishes were still enjoyable.

"Alright then, you cook! The ingredients are in the fridge, help yourself." Kylie couldn't care less. She went to work on the contract for the show "Wilderness Life."

Sophia, on the other hand, had some expectations for the meal cooked by William. She had grown tired of her aunt's cooking, which was simply awful.

Once in the kitchen, William took out all the usable ingredients from the fridge. He wanted to make a sumptuous meal today to celebrate the successful signing with Sophia, in advance.

An hour later, William had prepared a table full of dishes. It had been a while since he last cooked, so he was a bit rusty, but luckily, he managed to cook everything. Although they were just regular home-cooked dishes, they looked quite impressive.

"Did you make all of these?" Kylie couldn't believe it. A big man like him could actually cook so many dishes.

"Yeah, try them and you'll see!" William said, confident in his cooking skills.

They started eating, and the taste was not bad. Kylie and Sophia couldn't help but salivate in front of the table filled with dishes. They took a taste.

"The stewed fish is really well-made. I didn't expect you to be good at cooking." Kylie suddenly didn't want to kick William away. With him cooking every day, they would be well-fed.

"This steak is flavorful and not greasy at all. It's much better than what Aunt used to make," Sophia couldn't help but praise.

William smiled at the corner of his mouth. As long as they enjoyed the food, he was happy.

That night, William stayed overnight at Sophia's villa, but they slept upstairs while William slept on the sofa downstairs.

When they went to sleep, they locked the room door, fearing that William would attack them while they were asleep. However, they were worrying for nothing.

The next day, when William woke up, he found a contract next to the sofa he slept on.

William opened his eyes and saw that it was the same contract he handed to Kylie last night. He immediately flipped through it and was pleasantly surprised to see Sophia's name signed on it. "It seems Kylie has agreed to let Sophia participate in 'Wilderness Life'! That's great!"

After putting in so much effort, he finally managed to sign Sophia! And he believed that with Sophia joining, the ratings of the new season of "Wilderness Life" would definitely explode.

But obviously, good things are never that simple.

William originally wanted to pick up his phone to check the time, but he found an unread message sent by Antony last night, regarding Julian.

Subconsciously, he opened the message and quickly scanned through it. A faint smile appeared on his lips. "With such big moves, did you really think everything was beyond my surveillance?"
