Chapter 344 Forced by Reality

In the end, Sophia had to leave. At the airport in Long Island, William personally saw them off. No matter what, he couldn't prevent Sophia from visiting her mother. William couldn't leave with them due to his own responsibilities, so he had no choice but to send Arianna with Sophia to Canada to ensure her safety. "William, I'll be waiting for you in Canada. Don't forget to come and see me." Sophia looked at William, her eyes turning red. She didn't expect to really be separated from him, and for a moment, she was overwhelmed with reluctance. The two months in Long Island had made her completely fall in love with William.

In numerous instances, he risked his life to save her, leaving a deep impression on Sophia's heart. After that night, William's importance in her heart soared to a new level. It is said that a woman never forgets her first man, and it seems to be true here.

"Don't worry, I will come to see you. It may take as little as three months or as long as six months, but I will definitely go to Canada to see you. Just wait for me," William earnestly instructed her, then called Arianna over and introduced her.

"This is Arianna. She is already a grandmaster and with her protection, I feel more at ease."

"William, I'll be waiting for you!" Sophia gently embraced William, but the more she hugged, the tighter she held on, reluctant to let go.

However, at that moment, a reminder for boarding and ticket verification came from the cabin, and she had to leave.

"Sophia, it's time for ticket verification. You have to go!" William patted Sophia's back, and Terry and Kylie also came over to persuade her. Finally, Sophia had no choice but to part with William.

"William, you must come to Canada to find me." Sophia shouted back reluctantly, tears uncontrollably streaming down her cheeks.

William waved goodbye, watching them leave. Fiona, who had come to see them off, sighed as she looked at the two.

"The two of you could make a TV drama. One has a girlfriend, and the other has a fiancé. It will definitely be heart-wrenching."

William withdrew his gaze and turned to ask her.

"You take care of your own matters. By the way, when are you returning to New York?"

"No need to go back. The company's filming crew has expanded to Long Island. Starting tomorrow, I will resume working during the day and doing live broadcasts at night," Fiona said with a smile.

"How come I didn't know that the filming crew expanded to Long Island?" William asked unconsciously.

"The entertainment industry on Long Island has more development prospects compared to New York, so it's natural to expand there. You're such a busy person, when do you have time for these little things?" Fiona couldn't help but complain.

William shook his head. He really hasn't had time for the High Culture aspect recently. The most important thing right now is the matter concerning Ocean Guild.

Ryan's strength is on par with his own, making him his most significant opponent at the moment. William must double his training in order to surpass him.

There is one more thing that William is worried about. Since Ryan has control over The Earth, there are likely many spies and informants surrounding him. Ryan might target the people around him to strike at him, and that's what William is most concerned about.

"It seems like I should invite Michelle to visit Euler Hill for a few days!" William said.

His lips curved slightly. It had been weeks since he last saw Michelle, so he invited her to go to Euler Hill. One, to spend more time with her, and two, to take care of her while he trained at the Ocean Guild.

After dropping Fiona off at the Garden Villa, William drove straight to Michelle's company, ready to pick her up for their vacation at Euler Hill.

As soon as Michelle received William's call, she rushed out of the office with a face full of joy.

William rolled down the car window, and there was Michelle, wearing a pink dress and high heels, running towards him. When she got closer, Michelle hopped into the passenger seat, her chest heaving slightly from running too fast, clearly out of breath.

"William, you finally remember you have a girlfriend!" Michelle complained. "Back in college, you used to chase after me every day, and now that you've caught me, it's hard for you to even see me."

William chuckled and then spoke, "This time, I'll accompany you properly. Let's go on a vacation to Euler Hill, stay there for a few days. That should make up for it, right?"

"Going on a vacation to Euler Hill? That sounds perfect! I've heard so much about that famous tourist destination," Michelle exclaimed, her face filled with longing.

"Let's invite Julia too!" William suggested, worried that if he left Michelle alone while he trained, she would feel lonely. If Julia accompanied her, she wouldn't be as lonely.

"Sure, Julia has been feeling troubled these past few days, so it's a good opportunity for her to relax," Michelle agreed after thinking for a moment.

"What's been bothering her?" William asked casually while starting the car, preparing to take Michelle out for a meal.

"Damian from the West district has taken a fancy to Julia. And when her dad found out that the Denckman family is one of the five major wealthy families on Long Island, he wants to marry Julia off to them. That's why Julia has been so worried," Michelle explained in detail.

"Isn't it good for her to marry into a wealthy and noble family? Why wouldn't Julia want that?" William asked, puzzled.

"You don't understand. This heir of the Denckman family has been married three times and has two children. Will Julia have a good life if she marries into that?" Michelle sighed. These past few days, she had been worried about this too, after all, Julia was her only close friend on Long Island.

"Based on what you're saying, this heir of the Denckman family really is shameless," William concluded.

I didn't expect that Julia's father would sacrifice his daughter's happiness for his own benefit.

"Who would have thought? If Julia really married into that family, the outcome probably wouldn't be any better. She might end up like the previous ones, getting kicked out of the house. If that happens, Julia's life would be ruined," Michelle said worriedly.

William nodded in agreement without responding, silently storing this matter in his heart.

The Denckman family should not be underestimated, as they are also the reigning power in the West district. With a mysterious force supporting them from behind, they have become one of the five prestigious families on Long Island.

"It seems that Ocean Guild needs to thoroughly investigate the Denckman family!" William's lips curled slightly, surprised that Ocean Guild acted so quickly.

William secretly messaged Waverly. Waverly was in charge of organizing information for The Sky.

Ocean Guild has spies infiltrating the aristocratic families, so naturally, the Denckman family is not an exception.

Soon enough, William received information about the Denckman family from Waverly, and he was somewhat amazed when he saw the backing behind them.
