Chapter 393 I Can Assist You
In a villa on the outskirts of Canada, Neil sat in a chair, glaring angrily at Delilah and William.
Standing below him were several core members of the Flood Boxing Guild, including Cameron and a few students. Even Ben was present, and when he looked at William, he wore a gloating expression.
"Your name is William, right? Why did you impersonate us and recklessly kill members of Das Guild, provoking them with your words?" Neil stared at William with furious eyes.
Although there had been some friction between the Flood Boxing Guild and Das Guild recently, Neil had instructed them to exercise restraint. Das Guild had been standing in Canada for a century and possessed considerable strength, while the Flood Boxing Guild had fewer members. If they were to truly engage in a fight, they wouldn't gain any advantage.
But who could have anticipated that William would cause such a mess escalating the conflict between them and Das Guild and creating a deep-seated grudge. This was something Neil didn't want to see.
"Das Guild sent people to capture your daughter. Shouldn't you retaliate? Besides, I saved Delilah. If it weren't for me, she would've already been captured. Not only do you not show gratitude, but you also come to question me. What exactly do you mean by this?" William calmly responded, his tone carrying a hint of coldness. He showed no fear in the face of Neil's questioning.
"I will naturally be grateful for saving my daughter! However, why did you use the name of the Flood Boxing Guild to provoke our relationship with Das Guild?" Neil clearly distinguished between personal and guild matters.
"What else could it mean? It's to help you extinguish Das Guild and take their place," William casually replied, as if eliminating Das Guild were an effortless task.
"Heh, you are quite arrogant. There are nearly a thousand students under Das Guild, with over a dozen grandmasters. Santiago is even a Silver Level expert. What makes you think you can help us annihilate Das Guild?"
Neil paused for a moment before changing his tone to a cold one. "Or do you want to see both us and Das Guild suffer?"
"Why? Of course, it's because of my fists and this broken sword," William said as he drew the Dragontooth Sword. He injected it with super energy and it flew into the air.
After spinning around in the hall, it finally stopped in front of William.
Seeing this, everyone present was shocked.
Controlling a sword with energy is something not even a Silver Level expert can do. Yet, William accomplished it. How terrifying is his strength?
What they didn't know was that controlling the sword with energy was entirely thanks to the Dragontooth Sword. If it were an ordinary sword, William wouldn't be able to control it.
"What kind of sword is this?" Neil quickly noticed the extraordinary nature of this broken sword.
William didn't speak, but Delilah, standing beside him, explained first.
"Dad, this is the Dragontooth Sword. It seems to be quite mysterious. Also, William's strength has already reached Silver Level."
"No wonder you were able to kill three grandmasters from Das Guild and withstand the besieging of over a dozen students," Neil looked at William with a new level of respect. Such a young Silver Level expert will definitely become a great asset in time.
However, at this moment, a subordinate entered from outside and handed over a letter.
"Master, someone from Das Guild has delivered a letter, saying it's for you."
"Bring it here." Neil's brow furrowed as he read it; things were exactly as he had anticipated.
With an extremely unhappy face, he turned to William saying; "William, thanks to you, Das Guild has sent us a challenge, calling for a battle on the Arturo Arena in three days."
The shock felt by the members of the Flood Boxing Guild that were present at this time was not easy to miss.
They only had a mere hundred people in Canada, while Das Guild had the home-field advantage, possessing all the favorable conditions. What could they use to fight back?
But William was delighted. He had finally provoked the wrath of Das Guild.
"Don't worry, I will help you when the time comes," William said calmly.
However, Neil was still indecisive. Even though William was a Silver Level expert with the Dragontooth Sword in hand, Neil wondered how they could possibly hope to compete with Das Guild, which consisted of nearly a thousand people.
William noticed Neil's hesitation and continued speaking. "If your concern is that I alone am not enough to help you, I have reinforcements."
"Oh? You have reinforcements? Who are they?" Neil asked.
"Come closer, and I'll tell you." William waved his hand towards Neil. After a moment of hesitation, Neil stood up and walked towards William.
When they were close enough, William whispered into Neil's ear. His face showed immediate surprise as he turned to address the others.
"In three days, we will battle Das Guild on the Arturo platform. The outcome will be determined in this fight."
With Neil finally making a decision, William smiled to himself. In three days, he would see the results of his recent preparations.
