Chapter 167 Dare to play tricks with me?
Vincent lost once again, and this time, he had completely lost any chance of turning the tables.
Even the strongest boxer in his hands was defeated by Sharon, so what chance did he have to turn this situation around?
"Impossible, how can you beat Baca?" Vincent couldn't believe it. Baca was his strongest boxer.
But despite being such a powerful boxer, Sharon managed to defeat him, which was beyond Vincent's expectations.
To make matters worse, he also lost 20% of the shares in Flow Hotel and GUY Club, assets worth billions of dollars. All of it was lost to William in just half a day. This left him both depressed and unwilling to accept it.
"In gambling, one must accept defeat. Vincent, the 20% of GUY Club shares are now mine," William said with a slight smile as he approached him.
Upon hearing this, Vincent's expression suddenly turned ugly.
If his father found out that he had lost both shares, he would probably be beaten to death! Instead of that, it would be better to take a chance, confront William here, and make him spit out what he took.
After all, his father used to do this kind of thing frequently. It was now Vincent's turn to truly do it. Thinking this, he said to William,
"I will fulfill my promise, but first I need to make a phone call to prepare for the transfer of shares."
Vincent planned to delay William and make a phone call to call for help. With just one phone call, dozens of security guards would arrive within ten minutes to surround William, trapping him inside this venue, which belonged to their family's estate.
"No problem, but if you want to play tricks, you better be ready for the consequences," William threatened coldly.
"You wait for me here! I will make the call for the share transfer!" Vincent said hurriedly and left, clearly not in a normal state of mind.
William frowned, sensing that Vincent was up to something. He immediately waved to Sharon on the arena, summoning her back, and quietly instructed her, "Sharon, keep an eye on Vincent. If he poses a threat to us, take him down immediately."
William was concerned that Vincent might trap them here. It was just the three of them against the entire Black Fist Arena, which belonged to their Miller family. They could effortlessly call dozens of capable security guards.
Even though Sharon was formidable, she couldn't possibly take on dozens of security guards alone. Besides, she had already consumed a lot of energy in the previous two matches.
"Understood, sir," Sharon nodded and silently followed Vincent.
Meanwhile, William took advantage of this moment to collect his winnings and prepare to leave the betting area.
"Mr. Brown, this time you can win a total of 210 million dollars. Will you transfer it to your account?" the staff continued to serve William.
William nodded. Making a hundred and ten million dollars in one go was the largest amount of money he had ever made.
Similarly, Kayla also made over three hundred thousand dollars this time, which made her ecstatic.
"William, this money is so easy to make. In just two gambling events, I made over four hundred thousand dollars. The is unbelievable," Kayla exclaimed with a sense of amazement, her beautiful and enchanting face filled with joy.
"We have won big, we should move quickly! We might not be able to leave later," William urged, casting a glance at Baca, who was still lying unconscious on the ring. His eyes shifted directly to him.
Baca had become a successful boxer. Although not as good as Sharon, Baca's strength was impressive and could be useful in some situations.
William attempted to carry him on his back but was stunned to find that this guy weighed over three hundred pounds. It was too difficult for William, so he reluctantly spent forty thousand dollars to hire four people to help carry him out.
"Just bring him to my car later. Each person will get ten thousand dollars."
"Thank you, Mr. Brown!" The four people immediately agreed upon seeing the opportunity to earn ten thousand dollars with just one lift.
After about ten minutes, the crowd left one by one, and Vincent returned after making a phone call. His demeanor became calm and collected again.
"William, it seems like you want to stuff everything into your pockets. Do you even want to bring back a useless and disabled boxer?" Vincent came up to William and saw him instructing four people to carry the useless Baca. He shook his head repeatedly, unable to hide his mockery and ridicule towards William.
"Vincent, he risked his life for you, but you are treating him like a dog and discarded him. Who will risk their lives for you in the future?" William said in a low voice, surprised by Vincent's heartlessness towards his subordinates.
"In this underground boxing arena, all the boxers are hired by employers. They're paid to take care of our issues. Whether they become disabled or die, what does it have to do with me?" Vincent chuckled. Baca was already disabled, so he was of no use to him anymore.
"I'm taking Baca with me," William said coldly.
"Take him away? Can you even leave? That's a joke," Vincent said, but at that moment, a large group of security guards rushed down to the first floor and surrounded William. The spectators at the gambling arena quickly moved away, fearing any involvement.
Seeing this, William's gaze turned icy. Vincent had indeed planned something, but luckily, he had arranged for Sharon to follow Vincent closely. As long as they could control him, they could easily force him to leave this place."
"William, after you have made me lose so much money and assets, do you think I would let you leave peacefully?" Vincent saw that the people he called were all coming over, and suddenly straightened his back, ready to fight William. He also planned to forcefully take Kayla away. He had run out of patience.
"But you should think about the consequences of doing so," William glanced at the dozens of security guards surrounding them and responded coldly.
"Consequences? Haha, you piece of garbage. My people are here. You dare to talk to me about consequences? Let me tell you, if you don't spit out what you have taken today, you won't be able to leave and Kayla stays with me," Vincent laughed triumphantly, while his lascivious eyes shamelessly scanned Kayla.
However, a cold, gleaming dagger suddenly appeared on his neck without a sound.
"Don't move. If you move, I'll kill you." It was Sharon. She saw Vincent trying to surround William with his people, and without hesitation, she took action.
When Vincent saw Sharon silently appearing behind him, he was instantly terrified.
"When did you sneak up behind me?" he stammered.
Seeing Sharon successfully having Vincent at dagger point, William's heart settled, and he no longer feared the dozens of security guards surrounding them.
"Vincent, I have told you before, if you dare to play tricks on me, you will face the consequences. Take him away," William said, his gaze icy.
"William, don't mess around. This is my family's business. If you dare to touch me, I will make sure you die here," Vincent, seeing that the people he called had surrounded William and the others, wanted to make a final gamble. But was it this easy to intimidate William?
"If you want to die, let them take one step forward and see who dies first, you or me." William's lips curled into a faint smile, his tone laced with a hint of threat.
Vincent swallowed nervously. He had witnessed Sharon's abilities, and if she exerted even a little force, he probably wouldn't see the sun tomorrow. So, he surrendered.
"William, you're ruthless. What do you want to do to me?"
"What else can I do? What if your father found out that his only son was in my hands? Who knows what would happen?" William's lips curved into a smirk, then he instructed Sharon to lead the way, making Vincent leave forcefully.
"William, you are despicable. If you had the courage, you would have confronted me head-on, instead of resorting to coercion," Vincent thought to himself, breaking out in a cold sweat. William was even scarier than he had imagined, and now he regretted provoking him.
"To frame you, one must use such despicable means." William's tone faded off.
William spoke while pressuring Vincent to continue walking towards the staircase. The security guards surrounding them dared not make a move, despite their numerical advantage. With Vincent in William's hands, they knew that it is better to act sensibly, for if Vincent were to get injured, their own lives would be at stake.
"Tell them to step aside," William said coldly when he noticed the guards blocking the staircase and refusing to budge. Sharon's knife in her hand drew closer to Vincent's neck, causing him to feel a chill, almost wetting himself in fear. He quickly shouted at them.
"Move aside, and if anything happens, none of you will survive."
Vincent's words had an effect, as the guards obstructing the staircase quickly made way for William and his group.
"Very well, let's go," William expressed his satisfaction with Vincent's cooperation.
With Kayla and the unconscious Baca, they swiftly ascended the stairs, reaching the first floor. Vincent was then forcefully pushed into William's car, while Baca was placed in the backseat, with Sharon personally escorting them. This way, William was not concerned about any unexpected incidents along the way.
"This fool Vincent is indeed a treasure. I can blackmail his father," William smirked. Vincent was Paul's only son, and with Vincent in his hands, William could obtain some of the Miller family's assets to further strengthen himself.
