Chapter 130 Can't Keep Silent? Let's Beat Them All
Seeing another large group of thugs with iron rods coming toward them, Michelle's face turned pale. She quickly ran to William's side, visibly terrified.
"William, let's leave! We can't deal with so many of them!"
"It's fine, these people are on our side!" William smiled slightly at the corner of his mouth.
"On our side?" Michelle didn't understand what William meant. Clearly, each and every one of them was a thug. Some even had tattoos on their bodies, looking fierce and menacing, especially the big guy leading them.
"You can tell at first glance that he's not a good person," Michelle thought to herself.
"Mr. Brown, I apologize for our tardiness. The guys are heavy sleepers," Louis said with a smile on his face as he approached William.
Seeing the intimidating man, Michelle instinctively hid behind William. She was relieved to see that this man seemed to treat William with respect.
"Good to have you here. Have the guys surround these thieves who dare to steal construction materials. None of them should escape tonight." William pointed toward the thieves across the street, his tone carrying a hint of coldness.
"Understood, Mr. Brown!" Louis didn't dare to be negligent. He immediately signaled to his men, and almost a hundred of them surrounded the group of those small-time crooks. The crooks became restless, showing signs of uneasiness.
Noad and Katharine also noticed that the arrival of a hundred people had scared those small-time thugs. Moreover, they seemed well acquainted with William. Curious and anxious, they approached William and asked, "William, did you call these people?"
"Well, since the higher-ups don't seem interested in dealing with this matter, we can only rely on ourselves!" William paused for a moment before continuing, "Auntie, leave this matter to me. I promise to handle it properly and find out who is behind this."
Katharine never expected that William would take care of things just like that. She had just mocked him for being useless!
"Since that's the case, I'll leave this matter to you then!" Katharine's voice softened. At this point, she had no other choice but to trust William. Even Mr. Randall turned a blind eye to this matter. She had to resort to this method.
At the same time, Katharine realized that William was not simple. He even knew Louis, who was from the West district, and judging from Louis's respectful demeanor toward William, it was clear that William was not someone to be underestimated.
"Don't worry." William nodded and then turned toward the small-time crooks. Pointing at their leader, he casually said, "Aren't you the one who wanted to fight me earlier? Well, here I am, waiting for you. If you win, I'll let your men go, but if you lose, things might get ugly."
The leader of the crooks, holding an iron rod, couldn't hide his nervousness. Being surrounded by over a hundred people was undoubtedly intimidating. However, the man in front of him didn't seem physically imposing. Since he was so confident in challenging him, the leader decided to put on a show.
"Well then, I won't hold back," the leader of the crooks said and charged toward William with the iron rod, roaring loudly.
"Good," William smirked. As the leader approached, he effortlessly dodged the swing of the iron rod by crouching down slightly.
Immediately, he delivered a heavy blow to his stomach, causing him to retreat several steps.
The gang leader stumbled a few steps before regaining his balance. Upon witnessing William's martial arts skills, his expression grew serious.
"Surprisingly, you've got some strength." The gang leader swung his iron rod toward William again. With a cold gaze, William executed a low sweep just as they closed in and effortlessly evaded the attack once more, causing the gang leader to fall to the ground.
However, this time William didn't give him a chance. Seizing the opportunity, William stomped on his right hand, resulting in a crisp crack as it broke. The iron rod slipped from his grasp.
The gang leader let out a deafening cry of pain, which was terrifying.
"Tell me, who ordered you to do this?" William's gaze turned icy. If even Mr. Randall didn't care, the person behind them must have considerable influence.
"No one ordered us! We did it on our own!" The gang leader shouted in agony, his face twisted in pain from the fractured bones.
Seeing their boss being disabled, his subordinates wanted to rush forward to rescue him. However, Louis suddenly stepped forward, brandishing his iron rod and menacingly shouting, "If you dare to take another step, I'll cripple you."
Louis's ferocious appearance scared them. He had brought over a hundred people with him. The sheer intimidation factor was enough to make them back down.
Frightened by Louis's threat, the gangsters dared not approach any further. They could only watch helplessly as their boss was trampled under William's feet, crying out in agony.
"I'll give you one more chance. If you don't speak, your other hand won't fare well either," William calmly threatened. He didn't believe that these gangsters were acting on their own without anyone pulling the strings.
"Kill me if you want to, but there's no one behind us!" The gang leader remained defiant.
"Very well then." William did as he said, and stepped on the gang leader's other arm. With a slight force, a cracking sound echoed, and his left hand was disabled as well.
The gang leader cried out in pain once again. Unable to intimidate him, William frowned.
What should he do if the gang leader doesn't talk?
Suddenly, William's gaze turned to Louis. This kind of professional matter should be handled by him! Moreover, William couldn't afford to waste too much time here. Noad still had injuries on his head, and if they delayed for too long, it wouldn't be good.
He called for Louis and spoke with a serious expression, "Louis, I'll leave this to you. Force them to reveal who ordered them."
"Don't worry, Mr. Brown. Leave it to me. I guarantee they'll spill the beans!" Louis smiled. He had plenty of methods to make them reveal their puppet master.
"Okay then, I'll go now!" After saying these words, William turned around and headed toward Noad and the others.
"Uncle, aunt, let's leave this to Louis. He will make them confess. I'll take Uncle to the hospital first. His head injury shouldn't be overlooked," William said with concern.
"Yes, let's go to the hospital. Dad's head is still bleeding," Michelle said anxiously.
"Then let's go to the hospital first! Remember to tell Louis to completely resolve this matter," Katharine instructed. She had been dealing with this matter for a month and really didn't want it to drag on any longer.
William nodded.
Soon, they got into separate cars and headed straight to the hospital, while on the construction site, Louis instructed his men to fight back against the thugs.
The scene instantly turned chaotic and bloody, while Louis personally interrogated the leader of the thugs.
