Chapter 368 Getting Rid of Us?

In a five-star hotel near the airfield, William took three rooms: one for Sophia and Arianna, one for Michelle and Eliza, and one for himself.

Late at night, William called Arianna to his room and continued to discuss the unfinished business at the airport.

There were a lot of people around, so it was not suitable to talk about this kind of secret. That's why William called Arianna to the hotel room to discuss in private.

"Tell me the story again in detail," William said as he sat on the couch in his room.

"Ever since I accompanied Sophia to the Smith family, apart from protecting her personal safety, I have also been secretly monitoring the movements of the Smith family. In conjunction with the agents we have planted there, we soon figured out their internal factions."

Arianna continued after a pause, "The Smith family is divided into three factions. Master Barry, the second son Terry, and the fourth daughter Kylie lean toward the Brown family, while the eldest son, Kapa, has close ties with the Graham family. The third son Quentin is closer to the Hamilton family."

"I already knew all this when I was at Ocean Guild." William had dealt with them when he first took over Ocean Guild.

"This is the information we gathered through our spies placed within the Smith family. However, things have changed now. Master Barry has decided to announce Miss Smith's engagement to Mr. Brown in three months' time and pass the chairman's position to Terry on that day. When this news came out, Kapa and Quentin were not pleased. They are planning to join forces with the Graham family and the Hamilton family to rebel on the day of the engagement," Arianna said with a serious expression.

"Hmm, they are quite audacious! Aren't they afraid of the Brown family?" William didn't expect Master Smith's two sons to be so daring.

"They seem to have a way to deal with the Brown family's people, and they have heavily trained Kapa's daughter, Aria, for this purpose. I wonder what their intentions are," Arianna reported with doubts.

"Does Kapa have a daughter too?" William remembered that Barry's son, Malcolm, was still locked up in a private club in Long Island.

"Yes, Aria is only twenty years old and quite beautiful. Barry is usually very strict with her, so I presume he is grooming her for future use," Arianna analyzed.

"Is Barry planning to use Aria to replace Sophia and marry her into the Brown family?" William suddenly stood up, supporting his chin with his hand, contemplating, but he realized the probability of this possibility was low.

However, just to be safe, William decided to secretly transport Malcolm to Canada later. Having his son as a hostage would deter Barry from taking any risks.

"Keep an eye on Barry and Quentin during these three months. We need to know who they meet and what they do." William decided to adapt to the changing circumstances.

"Master, please rest assured. I will closely monitor them and gather all the information about their activities," Arianna assured him. "We will assign more people to keep an eye on them."

William nodded and went to rest after addressing this news.

Early the next day, Sophia wanted to take William and Michelle to visit tourist attractions and historical sites in Toronto.

It was indeed a good opportunity to experience Toronto, especially for Michelle, who was very excited.

"Sophia, are there any delicious local snacks in Toronto?" Michelle, eager to try Canada's unique cuisine, was the first to ask.

"There are plenty of local snacks in Toronto, such as Lamb Souvlaki, Chimney Cakes, Caribbean Fried Chicken, and more. I'll take you to try them later." Sophia didn't expect Michelle to ask about delicious food right away, but it suited her taste because she was also a foodie.

"Great, just talking about it makes me hungry!" Michelle said with a smile.

"Well then, what are we waiting for? Let's go! I happen to know a famous local snack shop in Canada that offers a variety of Toronto's specialties," Sophia said as she grabbed Michelle's hand and headed out. William followed behind, shaking his head. How would these two beauties react if they knew his identity?

Led by Sophia, the group of five arrived at a well-known local snack shop in Toronto. Most people who dined here were wealthy and from out of town.

"This is the place. It's still early, so there aren't many customers yet. Let's go upstairs. I have a VIP card," Sophia said, pulling out a red VIP card and leading William and the others inside.

Since none of them had eaten breakfast, they all followed inside.

"The environment here is really nice!" Michelle admired the surroundings.

"Yes, the upstairs environment is even better," Sophia said as she led them to the second floor.

Meanwhile, William was scanning the surroundings and observing the people. Although it was still early, there were still quite a few people in the restaurant. As his gaze swept across, he noticed that there were several skilled individuals with superpowers here. He could even sense a murderous aura.

"It seems that this vein has attracted many martial artists," William thought to himself.

The second floor was indeed more elegant than the first floor.

Just as they were about to sit down and order something to eat, a commotion was caused by a group of people.

"What's going on?" Michelle asked nervously.

"It's nothing. Let's just order something." William remained calm.

After a while, the manager personally came over to apologize.

"Sorry to say this, but today someone has booked this place exclusively, so I would have to ask all of you to dine somewhere else," the manager said politely, frequently apologizing to William and his group, showing that he genuinely had no choice but to ask them to leave.

"I am a member here. Who booked the venue today?" Sophia was angry. It was the first time she invited William and Michelle for a meal, only to be kicked out. It made her very unhappy.

"Miss Smith, that person is not someone we can offend, so please understand. I will invite you and your friends for a meal another day. Would that be acceptable?" The manager immediately recognized that Sophia was the one speaking, and his tone became even more polite.

"No, today we insist on eating here. My friend came all the way to Toronto on an empty stomach, and now you want to kick us out. This is pathetic!" Sophia said angrily.

"Please, Miss Smith, understand our position." The manager tried to persuade her, but Sophia and William remained unwilling.

They came here hungry to eat, and now they were being kicked out just because of a private booking. It was hard for anyone to accept.

As the stand-off continued, the door was suddenly kicked open, and a burly man with a fierce expression walked in, followed by several people.

"Who dares to be so arrogant? Are they seeking death?" the man exclaimed.
