Chapter 266 You Fell Into the Trap

William used Mason to set a trap and lure out the Graham family. Now they just needed to wait for them to fall into the net.

Meanwhile, Arturo, sitting on the boat, was still unaware that the Grim Reaper was waiting for them at their destination. "I wonder where William intends to go this time..."

Arturo was in a good mood. He had long wanted to kill him, and now he finally had the opportunity.

"Congratulations, Arturo! You have finally succeeded," Zachary congratulated him. They had put in a lot of effort to capture Sophia.

"Well, you played a big part in this. If you hadn't made a trip to New York and bribed Mason, things wouldn't have gone so smoothly. I'll reward you for this when we get back," Arturo nodded, pleased with Zachary.

Since Arturo had no child of his own, he had adopted Zachary and raised him as his own son. Seeing him so successful, Arturo was gratified.

The ship sailed on the sea and quickly arrived at the southern shore of Island 226. Led by Arturo and Zachary, the twenty members of the Hawk Team jumped off the ship one by one, all dressed in black tight-fitting suits, agile in their movements.

Under the cover of darkness, they quickly made their way toward the tents.

"Zachary, take ten members of the Hawk Team to capture Sophia. If anyone wakes up in the process, eliminate them without mercy!" Arturo whispered, his eyes filled with murderous intent.

"Yes, Arturo," Zachary replied and led ten members of the Hawk Team toward the tents, taking advantage of the night.

Meanwhile, Arturo took the remaining ten members of the Hawk Team to search for William's tent on the other side.

"William, we'll settle accounts today. It's time for you to meet God." Arturo hated William to the bone.

The destruction of the East district mansion and the failed kidnapping at the concert were all caused by William. Arturo wished to kill him mercilessly, and now he had the perfect opportunity.

The sea breeze blew, carrying a hint of saltiness mixed with the scent of bloodlust.

Zachary and the Hawk Team walked among the campfires, discovering numerous staff members lying in various positions on the ground, fast asleep. They were so deep in their slumber that even kicking them with their feet wouldn't wake them up. This further fueled Zachary's excitement.

"It seems like they're all sound asleep. Tonight, we will successfully capture Sophia," Zachary muttered to himself. Then he and his men started searching for Sophia.

On the other side, Arturo was desperately searching for William in the tents.

At this moment, Sophia was pretending to be asleep in one of the tents further back. She felt nervous because William had told her that someone would come to capture her tonight and warned her not to fall asleep.

Fortunately, William lay next to her.

Sophia glanced at him, and suddenly she calmed down. It seemed that as long as he was there, she wasn't afraid of any danger, no matter how great it was.

The tent was suddenly torn apart by someone with a knife. Sophia quickly closed her eyes, her heart pounding hard. She even held her breath nervously.

As the tent was being split open, a member of the Hawk Team stuck his head in. When he saw Sophia, he was overjoyed.

However, before he could take a second look, a knife directly struck his head, bringing him down to the ground, blood gushing out.

It was William who did it. After killing the person, he turned to Sophia and instructed her, "Stay in the tent and don't come out."

Sophia nodded quickly. She was already terrified, her face pale and trembling.

William immediately crawled out of the tent and shouted loudly, "Arturo, you've fallen for it! Guys, get up and get to work!"

As soon as he finished speaking, those lying around the campfire jumped up and pulled out the knives buried in the sand. There were over twenty people laying outside.

Lillian and Beauvoir were among them.

"William, why aren't you asleep?" Zachary was the first to notice William's appearance, shocked at the sight. He also noticed that the people who had been lying motionless on the beach had all stood up, each holding a long knife.

"How is this possible? Mason dared to deceive me?!" Zachary was shocked. They had fallen into a trap, but fortunately, the number of people here was similar to that of the Hawk Team, which helped him calm down quickly.

"Haha! William, you think you can kill us with the help of these few people? You're really overestimating yourselves. Guys, kill them for me!" Zachary took the lead, wielding a long sword, charging at William. The rest of the Hawk Team members held short knives and engaged in fights with the others nearby.

Arturo was also shocked to see the situation, but fortunately, there weren't many people on William's side, which gave him the urge to fight back fiercely.

"Guys, it's time to show what you're made of!" Arturo shouted, and immediately the entire Hawk Team joined the battle.

Soon after that, a small team emerged from the jungle on the south bank. It was Sharon, Baca, Tristan and Maxwell leading their allies. The number of people on William's side completely overwhelmed them, doubling that of Arturo's group.

Arturo and Zachary were deeply shocked.

"There are still people ambushing us!"

At this moment, Zachary no longer had time to care about others because William was already holding a long knife and charging toward him.

He came slashing toward Zachary at an extremely fast speed, with a cold light flashing in the dark night. Instinctively, Zachary took a step back, and his clothes were instantly torn apart.

He was shocked once again.

"Such speed! Fortunately, I stepped back!" Zachary exclaimed. Before he could even rejoice, William came rushing toward him again. Zachary's eyes narrowed, and he performed his sword technique, albeit different from the exaggerated swordplay seen on TV dramas. This fencing move had been modified and unleashed by Zachary.

This move was fierce and aggressive. With Zachary's control, it was like a venomous snake striking at William.

"Bring it on!" William had never tested his skills against a true master of martial arts, so this was the perfect opportunity for him as well.

William gripped his long knife tightly and met Zachary's attack head-on. He instinctively infused his aura into his wrist, using the Inch Punch method to strike back with his knife.

The clash of sword and knife produced a crisp sound of metal collision, followed by Zachary's sword being forcefully snapped in two. Zachary was horrified.

"How is this possible?" Before he could recover from his shock, an almost imperceptible surge of energy swung through the air toward him. Caught off guard, Zachary was injured, but the force was weak, only grazing his skin.

Nevertheless, it was enough to shock Zachary. "Is this some kind of superpower? How can this person possess such an extraordinary ability?"

Even William himself was astonished. When he used the Inch Punch technique, the aura that had been transferred to his wrist suddenly exploded, giving him a sense of invigoration.

Then, the aura on his wrist shot out directly along the length of his knife, giving him a wonderful feeling.

"I actually unleashed a superpower?" A glimmer of excitement flickered in William's eyes, but the battle continued. A shadow silently appeared behind William, its speed leaving people dumbfounded. This shadow was one of Karson's bodyguards, who was also one of the strongest members of this stealthy group.

He held a dagger that emitted a chilling glow. Seeing this, Sophia, who was hiding in the tent, screamed.

"William, behind you!"

Startled, William turned around, only to have the shadow thrusting the dagger directly toward him.

"Die!" A cold voice rang in William's ears.
