Chapter 240 I Do What I Say

These people who stormed into the manor were the individuals that William had previously arranged to ambush outside. Among them were twenty experts from the martial arts school, who were at the forefront, striking anyone they encountered with great strength.

The security guards were no match for them at all. With just one clash, they were knocked to the ground. Intimidated by this ferocious force, they retreated one after another and fled into the manor.

As they retreated, the imposing aura of this group of over a hundred individuals only grew stronger.

Riley, seeing this scene, was completely astonished, looking like she couldn't believe it.

"How is this possible? Did you arrange for people to ambush outside in advance?" Riley quickly realized something. With such a rapid reinforcement speed, there was only one possibility: these people had long been hidden outside.

"You're quite clever. However, those who are too clever might die early," William smirked, moving the knife away from her neck as he spoke. With his men now on the scene and having controlled the situation, he no longer needed her as a hostage.

In fact, using her as a hostage earlier had little effect. The security guards still attacked them, indicating that this woman had little presence within the Graham family and was dispensable. Although this was expected, it still disappointed William, as it rendered the purpose of exchanging for another person meaningless.

"You brought all these people here just to trade for a third-rate singer with the Graham family?" Riley's heart trembled, finding William's actions truly inscrutable.

"When you're conducting a trade on someone else's turf, you'd naturally bring more people to ensure your survival! Watch closely. Later you'll see how I level this place to the ground. I do what I say." William's eyes revealed a cold gleam. The person who kidnapped Sophia was probably hiding here, so by dispatching the security guards and leveling this place, he could definitely cause them some trouble.

Upon seeing William's gaze, Riley shuddered all over. This person was too terrifying. He surpassed the person on the second floor in every aspect.

"Everyone, listen up! Disable the legs of all the security guards here," William shouted loudly. He had made up his mind. After being disabled, it would be impossible for them to kidnap Sophia.

Upon hearing William's instructions, the martial arts experts who had stormed in became even more enthusiastic in their attacks.

Meanwhile, on the attic of the second floor, a middle-aged man glanced down at the situation inside the manor through the window.

He frowned deeply.

"Who is William? How dare he bring a group of powerful people here? Is he trying to destroy this place? Could it be because of the Graham family?"

This person was Arturo, the manager of the Graham family's branch on Long Island and Riley's second uncle. He had personally built and been in charge of this estate. However, he never expected that it would be destroyed by this seemingly ordinary bastard, William.

This made him both hateful and angry. He knew the armed forces here were painstakingly built by him. And it was also related to an important mission next month. If there were any mistakes in this mission, he would be held responsible.

Just then, a hoarse voice came from behind him.

"Let me go down and give it a try." A young man dressed in a black windcoat stood respectfully behind Arturo in the darkness.

"It won't do any good for you to go down. There are more than twenty powerful people down there. Unless your mentor comes here, we can only retreat for now. As for next month's mission, we may need to seek your mentor's help."

Arturo quickly made a decision. The people William brought along were terrifyingly strong, and the estate's security guards couldn't possibly stop them.

"It's such a pity! I worked so hard to build this estate, and now it's destroyed by this person. I will make him pay for this." Since they couldn't stop them, they could only retreat through the backdoor of the estate. However, Arturo silently vowed to take revenge for this grudge.

Half an hour later, the people William brought had basically disabled all the security guards in the estate. Within a day, the Graham family's armed forces on Long Island suffered significant losses.

"Mr. Brown, all the security guards here have been disabled. What should we do now?" Baca, covered in sweat, came running to report to William, gasping for breath.

"Level this place to the ground," William said coldly, a hint of coldness flashing in his eyes.

"Understood. What about the things inside the estate? Should we destroy them as well?" Baca glanced at the estate, which contained many valuable paintings and antique vases.

"Destroy everything. As for the rewards for you guys this time, I will have Boss Jones distribute them to you," William said indifferently. He was here to eliminate the power of the Graham family, not to be a thief.

"Understood, Mr. Brown." Baca acknowledged and quickly went down to carry out William's orders with his men.

Riley saw that William's people were really destroying the estate. Suddenly, her heart trembled. What about her uncle on the second floor? Wasn't he going to come out and stop them? Or did he run away?

Thinking of this, Riley was even more scared. The person her uncle was afraid of, the strength of that person could only be imagined.

Suddenly, she had an idea.

"William, my name is Riley. I always keep my word, and from today onwards, I'm going to stick with you," she said, untying the string that held her beautiful dark hair in place. Her fair face, which was already exceptionally beautiful, now had a touch of femininity with her long hair cascading down. William was momentarily stunned by Riley's beauty.

Back in the car, William let Yohan go. He was no longer needed. Riley took his place, sitting across from William.

"You are part of the Graham family. Why do you want to be with me?" William couldn't fully trust this woman since she was associated with the Graham family.

"The man we heard earlier from the attic on the second floor was my uncle. In their eyes, I'm dispensable, and they're willing to sacrifice me to achieve their goals." Riley looked directly at William, her expression determined.

William furrowed his brow. Riley seemed to be a similar character to Kayla, someone who was trampled on and disregarded within the family. However, Riley still needed to be tested.

"How can I trust you?" William asked calmly.

Riley didn't hesitate and replied, "Do you want to capture my uncle? I can help you. You traded Yohan for me because you want to gather some information about the Graham family from me, right?

"Unfortunately, my position within the Graham family is very low, and I know very little. You might regret replacing Yohan with me. However, my uncle is different. He knows more than my father." Riley showed her cleverness by figuring out William's intentions.

"It's easier to deal with smart people." William smiled, realizing that Riley could still be useful.
