Chapter 251 The Fiancée Arrives

Sophia's concert is getting closer and closer. Michelle and Julia are also looking forward to her concert in Long Island. They even stayed up all night to try and get tickets, but unfortunately, they couldn't.

"Julia, did you manage to get them?" Michelle, dressed in a white nightgown, sat on the sofa, eagerly looking at Julia. The latter sighed. "I tried all night, but they sold out in one second. Sophia's concert tickets are really in high demand."

After the second season of "Wilderness Life," Sophia's popularity increased significantly, making it even harder to snatch tickets for her concert.

"What should we do? Should we buy tickets from others who intentionally sell them? The price might be a bit higher, but at least we can get in," Michelle pondered and suggested.

"I have a solution, pay attention," Julia responded and proceeded to post on her social media requesting to buy two tickets for Sophia's concert at a high price.

"Done! Now we just have to wait for the fish to come to us," Julia smirked.

"Julia, I think you should edit the content and change it to 'buying three tickets for Sophia's concert at a high price,'" Michelle suggested, flipping through the post in Julia's social media on her phone.

"Why three? It's just the two of us, right?" Julia looked puzzled.

"We also have William. He's coming with us. Please?" Michelle put down her phone and pleaded with Julia, giving her a puppy-eyed look, leaving Julia speechless.

"Fine, fine! It'll be three tickets then. I can't believe I'm giving in to you," Julia said reluctantly, deleting the original post on her social media and replacing it with a request for three concert tickets.

An hour later, Julia received five replies on her social media post, all saying that they would give her three tickets for free, and they were all male. Julia showed the messages to Michelle.

"Michelle, see? I still have charm," Julia said boastfully.

"Then choose three front row seats!" Michelle joined in, her face filled with joy, finally having hope of going to Sophia's concert.

"Alright, let's go with this one. Brady seems to know how to have fun, and he happens to have three VIP tickets. I'll contact him," Julia said, messaging Brady on WhatsApp.

Michelle watched with anticipation. However, after chatting for a while, Julia suddenly frowned.

"Brady doesn't want our money. He says if I have dinner with him, he'll give me these three VIP tickets for the concert."

"Could he be trying to deceive you and take advantage of you?" Michelle expressed her worry.

"But if we don't go, we won't get these VIP tickets," Julia hesitated. She knew Brady well. He was a guy who often played with women's emotions. She was afraid that if she went, he would take advantage of her under the pretext of the concert tickets.

"How about I ask William to accompany us? He's quite formidable, and with him around, Brady won't dare to take advantage of us!" Michelle suggested after giving it some thought.

"Can William fight?" Julia exclaimed in surprise.

"Yeah! Last time at the MA club, he fought off those little hooligans," Michelle said, her eyes filled with admiration as she spoke.

"Is it true?" Julia was coerced into a locked room by the woman in black, so she didn't witness William's fight firsthand. However, according to the woman in black, William seemed to have had the upper hand against a formidable opponent, so he shouldn't be weak.

"Of course, it's true. Why will I lie to you? Hurry up and make plans with Brady so I can call William!" Michelle couldn't wait any longer. It had been a long time since the wedding banquet, and she missed him dearly.

At this moment, William was at the sports arena in Long Island. Sophia's concert, which would take place in three days, would be held here. He wanted to familiarize himself with the venue for better planning. Unfortunately, the gates of the sports arena were closed, and no one could enter for now.

Just as he was about to leave, he received a call from Michelle, asking him to accompany them to meet a rich guy named Brady. Michelle said they needed three VIP tickets for Sophia's concert.

"How could I forget about this? I only have one concert ticket with me. It seems like I'll have to ask Sophia for more concert tickets, or else only I can get in. We need a few more people," he thought.

In his opinion, Sophia, being an insider, should have several concert tickets. It would be easy to ask her for some.

With that in mind, William dialed a long-unused phone number. It was Sophia's mobile number, which very few outsiders knew.

The call was quickly connected, and a familiar and delicate voice came from the other end.

"Is this William? How's Fiona doing under your guidance?" Sophia asked.

"Fiona has been behaving well. Do you still have concert tickets?" William didn't want to beat around the bush and went straight to the point.

"I should still have a few left. How many do you need?" Sophia's voice came through the phone.

"A hundred tickets." William wanted to bring more people to protect Sophia.

"A hundred tickets? I don't have that many. I currently have a maximum of twenty." Sophia almost thought William wanted to resell them, but she trusted his character.

"Twenty tickets will do," William said after thinking for a while. He would acquire more tickets later, and it would be enough.

"Then come to Central Square, No. 134. Kylie will be waiting for you at a newsstand by the roadside. She will give you the twenty tickets then." After saying this, Sophia hung up without wanting to chat with William any longer.

William sighed. If it were Michelle, she wouldn't hang up the phone so quickly. But Sophia was a big star, and they didn't have much of a personal connection. It was already good enough that she was giving him twenty concert tickets.

Before going to find Michelle, he decided to stop by Kylie's place first since it was on the way and wouldn't take up much time.

At a newsstand by the roadside, Kylie was waiting for him wearing a mask and sunglasses. She kept looking around cautiously, fearing being followed by the paparazzi.

After parking the car by the roadside, William grabbed a box of the famous layered sandwich cookies from Long Island and got out of the car. He had bought it along the way, knowing that Sophia and Kylie loved food. It was a small gesture for them!

"Kylie, sorry for keeping you waiting," William said, handing her the box of layered sandwich cookies. "These cookies are well-known local pastries, and they're still warm. Take them home and enjoy them with Sophia!"

Kylie took the box of cookies, and in return, she handed William twenty concert tickets. With a quick glance, William realized that all twenty tickets were VIP passes, including two front-row VIP tickets.

Of course, Sophia wouldn't settle for regular tickets.

Before this, William already had one VIP ticket that Sophia had given him. So now they had a total of three VIP tickets.

"Alright, take care. Oh, Fiona, you did a great job training her. Sophia asked me to tell you that during the last song of the concert, she would invite you on stage to sing together, as a way to fulfill her promise to you." After saying these words, Kylie left quickly.

William remembered this promise. It was actually a good thing because he would be able to protect her up close.

With the concert tickets in hand, William drove straight to find Michelle. Michelle and Julia had been waiting for him at a café for a while, with a rich man sitting across from them.

"Julia, your friend looks attractive. Let's go to River Club later. I have a membership card there. It'll be more fun than any bar or nightclub," Brady said, his thief-like eyes roaming up and down Michelle, clearly with impure intentions.

"Brady, what about the three VIP concert tickets we agreed on?" Julia was hesitant, as she didn't trust this person.

"If you come with me, I'll give them to you. Didn't we agree on this? How about it?" Brady insisted, eager to lure them to River Club. Just thinking about it made him excited, knowing that once they were there, they wouldn't be able to leave.

"We have to wait for someone before we can go." Without William, Michelle wouldn't dare to go to a place like that.

"Who are you waiting for? If you don't come now, I'll give the VIP concert tickets to someone else." Brady tried to provoke them, but before he could finish his sentence, a voice came over.

"Alright, beautiful ladies, you surely deserve front-row VIP tickets," William said, tossing a stack of concert tickets onto their table. The top three were VIP tickets. However, he pretended not to know Michelle and Julia as he spoke.

"Ladies, would you like to join me or him?" he asked, winking at them, indicating that they should play along.

Michelle understood his intention and smiled, her lips curling slightly. "Of course, we'll go with you. Who needs VIP tickets when we have VIP passes?"

"I'll go with you too. Wherever you want us to go, we'll accompany you," Julia added playfully.

Both of them stood up immediately. Michelle even reached out and linked her arm with William's, looking affectionate and eager to please.

Watching this, Brady felt annoyed and jealous. He pointed at William and shouted angrily, "When hitting on girls, you should do it in the order of arrival. You're not following the rules!"

"Who said one must follow an order? It's all about the ability," William replied, picking up the stack of VIP concert tickets and arrogantly waving them in front of Brady.

Brady was left speechless. He couldn't argue back. Today was undoubtedly the most embarrassing day of his life.
