Chapter 316 You Lose

Zeke was shocked and couldn't believe his own failure. "I actually lost to a young person in his twenties??" Reluctantly, Zeke struggled to get up from the ground, wanting to continue the fight, but his tired body wouldn't allow it.

On the other hand, William was in a much better condition. His only visible signs of the battle were disheveled hair and torn clothes, with no injuries on his body.

"You lost," William walked over and said casually to the pale-faced Zeke.

Upon hearing this, Zeke clenched his fists, displaying a look of unwillingness. However, his energy and blood were in turmoil, making it impossible for him to recover in a short period of time. If he forced himself to continue the fight, it might cause his energy and blood to flow backward and result in his demise.

"You got lucky. If I hadn't been careless and let you have those two moves, you could never have beaten me," Zeke regretfully admitted. His own arrogance had ruined this gambling match.

As the number one expert in the South district, losing to William was truly a humiliation for him. It became a stain on his life.

"I don't know your name, but once I recover, I want to fight you again," Zeke refused to accept defeat and planned to challenge William another time. He was determined to wash away this stain on his reputation.

"I'm William Brown. Whenever you feel like fighting me, I'm ready," William said calmly. Even if Zeke hadn't given him those two moves earlier, William was confident that he could still win.

"Good. I'll be waiting for you next week at Grey Hill in the South district. I will invite many martial arts experts to witness our battle," Zeke issued the challenge and immediately walked away. He was eager to regain his strength and fight William once more.

Upon seeing Zeke leave so nonchalantly, Soren's face turned pale with fear. "You're leaving? What am I supposed to do?"

He was left alone to face William and his group. This was not a good situation at all.

However, Zeke didn't even glance back at Soren and left Horn Villa without hesitation.

"Soren, the Night Pearl in your hand is mine now. Hand it over," William approached and said calmly, holding out his hand.

Soren clung tightly to the Night Pearl and didn't want to let go, but the circumstances left him no choice. If he wanted to leave here alive, he had to hand over the ancient Night Pearl to William.

"Fine. Here you go," reluctantly, Soren handed the box containing the Night Pearl to William. His face turned ashen as he realized that their family's heirloom had been taken away.

Furthermore, William presented an agreement before Soren. "And sign this transfer agreement for the casino as well."

Trembling, Soren took the pen that William offered. It was clear that he had no other option but to sign the transfer agreement.

Soren pondered for a long time before finally signing his name personally. The situation forced him to do so. After signing, Soren's face turned pale. He had lost his family heirloom and the casino. The pain in his heart was unbearable.

"Thank you!" William said, waving his hand and instructing Lillian to take Callum out. "I'm returning your son to you now, so we're even."

"Of course, if you want to seek revenge, I'll be waiting," William smirked. He had no fear of retaliation from the Bell family. With his wealth and power, he overshadowed them completely. If Soren wanted to seek revenge, it would be his own death wish.

"I dare not, I dare not," Soren truly didn't dare. William's strength surpassed even Zeke's. How could he afford to offend someone like that? He didn't even have the chance to please him.

On the other hand, Callum, who had just been released, wasn't very astute. When he saw Soren, he put on a mournful expression and cried out.

"Dad, you finally came to save me. It's this bastard. Hurry up and find someone to kill him."

But before he could finish speaking, Soren slapped him across the face.

"Foolish boy, can you afford to offend this gentleman?" Soren's mind quickly turned, and he suddenly came up with an idea to turn a bad situation into a good one.

Since William was able to defeat Zeke, it meant that he was stronger than Zeke. Moreover, the fact that he could come to Horn Villa indicated a good relationship with the Sullivan family; otherwise, he wouldn't have been able to come here.

If he could befriend a powerful and mysteriously backgrounded person like William, it would definitely benefit the Bell family. On the other hand, if he antagonized William, he would likely end up dead within minutes.

With such formidable force, one person could easily eliminate all the security personnel of the Bell family. Killing Soren would be as easy as killing a chicken. It would be unwise to oppose such an overpowering individual.

"Dad, why did you hit me? It was this scumbag who set me up. He wants to steal the family heirloom," Callum still wanted revenge, seeing William as a capable but poor person.

"Bastard," Soren said, slapping Callum on the face again. This time, it finally brought Callum to his senses, and he dared not speak anymore. He realized that it was only the two of them here, while everyone else belonged to William's camp.

William was somewhat surprised by Soren's reaction. In the past, whenever he encountered powerful enemies, they would do everything to seek revenge against him. However, Soren was the first one to come forward and hit his own son. That was interesting.

"Sir, please don't bother with him. Tomorrow, I will host a banquet to apologize to you. Would that be acceptable?" Soren said with a smile.

He could bring the Bell family to the South district thanks to William's help.

For William this was the first family that naturally had their own vision and adaptable temperament. "No need, I'm very busy," William didn't want to be tricked by him. It wouldn't be good if this guy was intentionally showing weakness while actually planning to ambush him. Soren seemed to sense William's concern and spoke up again. "How about this, you pick a place, and I'll bring my son to apologize to you." William sensed that Soren seemed interested in befriending him. This person had good judgment, different from the aristocrats who sought revenge on him before. "Sure, come to Angle Hotel tomorrow at noon. I'll have a feast there, and consider us friends," William said with a faint smile. He was thinking of expanding WE ARE Chamber's influence to the South District, so it would be a good thing if he could win over Soren.
