Chapter 140 Make Him Beg on His Knees
Samuel personally led the finance department to settle the overdue salaries of the workers and instructed them to resume the project as soon as possible. Constructing a hotel was a costly endeavor, and delays would only exacerbate the financial burden. It was best to avoid any unnecessary setbacks.
In addition, Samuel also helped William arrange a meeting with Bence at a nearby hotel. In the evening, William sat in the VIP lounge, waiting for Bence to arrive while reviewing the information and properties of the Lanner family that Wendy had sent him.
Soon enough, Bence appeared as scheduled. He arrogantly pushed open the door and greeted William with a hint of hostility. "Mr. Brown, I apologize for the wait! What can I do for you?"
William didn't beat around the bush. "You orchestrated Walter's embezzlement, didn't you?"
"What does his embezzlement have to do with me?" Bence sneered, pouring himself a drink without courtesy and taking a sip.
"Walter is already wanted throughout the city. It won't be long before he's apprehended, and then you won't be able to escape either," William remarked calmly.
"Is that so? But what does it have to do with me?" Bence dismissed the accusation entirely, perhaps enjoying William's sense of urgency. He still held a grudge over the incident where William swindled him out of his shares.
"Of course, it concerns you! If you don't want the Lanner family to go bankrupt in the East district, I suggest you hand him over," William spoke in a plain tone, but his words carried a hint of threat.
"You think you can frame us? Do you even realize that the Lanner family is a top-tier family in the East district? Kid, just because you became a shareholder of Wilson's Hotel, doesn't mean you can do whatever you please. Let me tell you, if you want to fight with me, be prepared to regret it."
Bence's face suddenly contorted into a fierce expression. After taking another sip of his drink, he continued, "I will make sure Wilson's Hotel goes under. You won't have it easy, just as we won't."
Seeing his demeanor, William knew he would have to use his own ways to make him surrender voluntarily.
"Bence, you will pay for these words."
"Pay? Dream on. I'll tell you, not only do I want to ruin Wilson's Hotel, but I also want to ruin you. You dared to deceive me. I'll make sure you regret it."
After Bence finished speaking, he slammed the table hard, and the sound made two thugs come in from outside. As soon as they entered, they locked the door to the private room.
"Are you the one I need to discipline?" The two thugs pointed at William and shouted.
"Yes, beat him until he's dead. If anything happens, I'll take responsibility." Bence's gaze was vicious. His shares were worth billions of dollars, but he had been tricked away by William. He couldn't live with it unless he killed him.
As soon as he finished speaking, the two thugs fiercely pounced on William. He didn't expect Bence to want to harm him. Now, William wouldn't hold back either.
He grabbed a bottle of alcohol from the table and smashed it toward one of the thugs approaching him.
With a loud bang, the bottle exploded on the thug's head, and countless splashes of beer flew out. The thug immediately grabbed his head, froze in pain, and howled. William paid no attention and kicked him, sending him flying several meters away until he hit the wall and fell down.
William killed one within a few seconds. Now, another thug took the opportunity to swing his fist at William.
William slightly turned his head, narrowly avoiding the punch. Then, he squatted down and threw a punch, hitting the thug's stomach. The tremendous force made him take several steps back.
Before he could stabilize himself, William charged forward and kicked him, sending him crashing into the wall. With a loud bang, the wall almost cracked.
In less than five minutes, William knocked down both the thugs, leaving Bence terrified and shivering.
"You can fight so well? If I had known, I would have brought more people!" Bence was shocked and felt an inexplicable sense of nervousness and fear.
"Are you coming at me again?" William smiled faintly, secretly grateful for the skills he learned from Sharon.
"William, you're impressive." Bence was already scared of William. He wanted to turn around, open the door, and escape. But William took a swift step forward and kicked him.
"You want to run away after attacking me? Where's Walter?" William's tone was icy.
"I really don't know where he is. It's not me who ordered him." Bence attempted to argue again.
"Okay, so you want your organs damaged?" William said, taking out a small knife from his pocket, a hint of a cold smile at the corner of his mouth.
"What do you mean?" Bence saw William take out a small knife and was startled, shivering all over.
"What do you think?" William moved the knife directly toward his crotch, instantly turning Bence's face pale with fear. He quickly begged for mercy, "I'll talk, I'll talk."
It seemed this tactic was very effective in trapping any man, and William was quite satisfied.
Bence temporarily surrendered, but he was still unwilling deep inside.
"Speak up, where is he?" William threatened loudly.
"He's in an abandoned factory in the East district," Bence trembled in response, cold sweat streaming down his forehead from fear.
"If you dare to deceive me, I'll turn you into a genderless person," William said as he took out his phone and called Antony, revealing the address of the abandoned factory to him.
Upon receiving the information provided by William, Antony immediately dispatched people to capture the person at that factory.
William remained in the VIP suite of the hotel, keeping an eye on Bence to prevent him from escaping.
While he was at it, he decided to eat something to fill his stomach. After waiting for nearly two to three hours, he finally received a message from Antony.
"The person has been captured."
Upon receiving this message, William secretly breathed a sigh of relief, but Bence clearly had an expression of defiance.
"Bence, I know you're still defiant, but soon you'll be begging me on your knees."
"Begging you on my knees? Who do you think you are? Just because you can fight doesn't mean you're powerful. I'll make sure you know what my family is capable of in the East district."
Bence was indeed unwilling, feeling extremely frustrated after being repeatedly taught a lesson by a poor person.
Moreover, Bence held many secrets about Wilson's Hotel. Casually targeting a few could easily cause trouble for the company.
"Is that so? Well, I'll see just how capable the Lanner family is." William's mouth curled into a cold smile as he left his phone number for Bence.
"This is my number. Make sure you remember it, so it'll be more convenient when you come begging for my help."
He planned to give Bence a profound lesson, making sure he wouldn't dare to offend him and Wilson's Hotel again, or else the troubles would never end.
"Dream on if you think I'll beg you on my knees!" Bence sneered, watching William's figure.
After leaving the hotel, William took out his phone and called Antony once again.
"Make the Lanner family go bankrupt. Let them know that if they don't want to go bankrupt and shut down, they must let Bence come crawling to beg me," William said coldly, wanting Bence to know that he couldn't be provoked.
"Alright, sir, I will arrange for someone to handle it immediately." Antony knew the seriousness of the matter. After hanging up the phone, he went down to directly arrange for people to take care of it.
