Chapter 276 Dare to Threaten My Woman?
Michelle believed William's words wholeheartedly. After hanging up the phone, she rushed downstairs to share the good news with Julia and the others.
"Julia, Uncle, Aunt, we don't need to hide anymore. William said Raymond would come and apologize to us personally," Michelle said excitedly.
Upon hearing this, Oscar and Linda couldn't help but sneer. They didn't believe it. In fact, they found it ridiculous!
"Michelle, that boyfriend of yours, William, I don't think he's reliable. Can you imagine a poor guy like him bringing Raymond to apologize to us? Do you think it's possible?" Linda said sarcastically, thinking that what Katharine said was right.
William not only comes from a humble background, but he also likes to brag. Such a person is truly not marriage material, and it's good that they are not living together. These poor people are experts at using shameless tricks to deceive girls into sleeping with them. Once the girl gets pregnant, they start making their demands.
Linda despised such people. She planned to find an opportunity to separate William and Michelle. This kind of person was simply unworthy of Michelle.
"Michelle, hurry up and pack your things. Your boyfriend has just arrived in Long Island. He doesn't know how dangerous Raymond is. I understand you trust him, but this is a serious matter. You need to go to New York today, otherwise it will be too late."
Oscar didn't take William's words seriously. In his opinion, saying such things without careful thought was pure impulsiveness.
However, Julia seemed to believe Michelle. After all, she had witnessed William's abilities back in the MA club when he single-handedly forced Pablo and his subordinates to retreat. Oscar, who was already scared, couldn't listen to reasoning anymore. Unless Raymond really apologizes to him, he will never believe it.
"I didn't witness it personally, but Michelle saw it with her own eyes." Julia looked at Michelle, who nodded and said, "Uncle, William is really formidable. He even knows martial arts."
"A little knowledge of martial arts, and you all are charmed! Raymond has over a hundred subordinates. Can one person handle them all? You're being naive." Oscar felt a bit impatient and urged them, "Hurry up and pack your luggage. I'll take you to the train station at 8 o'clock tonight. Don't be late."
"Yeah, Julia, listen to us. Raymond is capable of anything. You and Michelle are so beautiful. He will definitely ruin you. We better escape for our lives!" Linda agreed with Oscar. Just thinking about Raymond's horrifying methods made her tremble in fear.
After being frightened like this, Julia and Michelle couldn't help but start packing their luggage. However, Michelle still thought about William. When William received Michelle's call, he was quite surprised.
After Michelle's call, William immediately sought out Larry, who was now under Baca's watchful eye. He dared not make a move, especially since his hands and feet were chained; escaping was out of the question.
"Larry, have you been adjusting well here?" William greeted as soon as he entered.
"William, you're finally here. You promised to let me go. When will you fulfill that promise?" Larry, who had been completely tamed by Baca, couldn't muster any thoughts of resistance, at least not within the confines of the Garden Villa.
"Don't rush it. You're still very useful to me. I can't bear to let you go." William said with a smile. Larry was now a precious asset to him.
"William, I've given you everything I had. I'm penniless now. What use am I to you? Please just let me go!" Larry pleaded, trying to lick William's boots.
"How can you say you're of no use? You're still very valuable. I want to use you as a bait to catch Mr. Davis," William said, locking eyes with Larry.
Larry trembled in fear. This would be a matter of extermination, and Mr. Davis had an incredibly profound background, with mysterious forces supporting him.
Nixon had thought highly of himself before and attempted to compete with Mr. Davis for territory, only to have Mr. Davis wipe out his entire family with a flick of his finger. Larry dared not offend Mr. Davis and quickly fell to his knees, begging for mercy.
"Please spare me! How could I dare to offend Mr. Davis? He'll kill my entire family!"
William changed his tone and said, "Since you're so scared of death, I won't ask you to lure Mr. Davis for now. Instead, lure Raymond out for me."
William had been waiting for this moment. He had asked Antony and Ralph to investigate Mr. Davis's identity and background. Until they had a thorough understanding of Mr. Davis's situation, William wouldn't act rashly against him.
Before going to war, one must know oneself and the enemy to secure victory.
Therefore, William only wanted to use Larry to lure out Raymond. Mentioning Mr. Davis was just a way to test Larry and see how fearful he truly was. It also confirmed that Mr. Davis was indeed formidable and terrifying.
"You want me to trap Raymond?" Larry didn't expect William to bring up Raymond.
"What do you think? There shouldn't be a problem with that, right?" William said casually.
"But if I lure him out, will you let me go?" Larry still hoped to leave. He did not want to be under William's thumb any longer.
"Alright, as long as you behave and do as I say, I will consider letting you go," William said with a smirk on his lips, but he had no intention of letting him go at all.
"You better keep your word. Give me the phone, I'll call Raymond and set up a meeting." Larry had no choice but to give in again.
William instructed Baca to retrieve the phone he had confiscated earlier and instructed Larry to call Raymond on speakerphone.
"Tell him to meet you at Redcat Club. It's not far from here. Make sure he comes." William's eyes carried a cold glint. Tonight, he was planning to take action against Raymond, who dared to threaten his woman. He was clearly looking for trouble.
