Chapter 180 The Outcome is Clear

Inside the Miller family's mansion, Paul paced anxiously in the room. It had been two or three hours, and Diego still hadn't sent any news, leaving him feeling uneasy.

The success of this operation determined their survival in the North district.

If they captured William, they would have leverage over Antony. Not only could they reclaim their GUY Club and Flow Hotel, but they might also gain additional assets. Hence, the question of whether or not they could capture William.

"Diego, why hasn't he been answering the phone?" Paul had already made several calls to Diego, but he never picked up. This made him even more restless, with a lingering feeling of foreboding.

"Dad, why are you pacing back and forth in the living room? Aren't you tired?" Vincent finished grooming himself and was getting ready to go out to meet a girl. He had arranged to meet his new girlfriend from the bar last night and intended to have a good time with her tonight.

"Are you going out to find women again?" Paul furrowed his brow, scolding him in frustration. His face turned pale, as if he were ready to devour someone.

"I have a date; I won't be coming back tonight." Vincent didn't care about his father's expression and was about to leave when Paul stopped him.

"Hold on, you jerk! Can't you show some ambition? It was because of you last time that we lost billions of dollars. Don't you have any remorse? Can't you do something productive?" Paul shouted in anger.

"I'm just going out for a bit, why are you bothering me with all this?" Vincent felt annoyed. The girl he arranged to meet today was very beautiful, and he was getting impatient. With these words, he abruptly walked outside to leave for his date.

Upon seeing this, Paul sighed heavily. Having such a son was his misfortune. However, a flustered Vincent rushed back in; shouting and screaming in panic.

"Dad, Dad, a fleet of cars suddenly arrived outside and have surrounded our villa."

"Many cars?" Paul didn't have time to lecture his son anymore. He furrowed his brows. Could it be that Diego had returned with people? His emotions surged as he quickly walked outside, only to see dozens of cars parked on the road in front of their villa.

When the cars stopped, a large number of people got out, all of whom Paul did not recognize. Leading the group were Baca and Levi, with Antony and William walking behind them, surrounded by others.

Seeing this, Paul's face changed dramatically.

"Oh no, Antony has come with people. Close the gates quickly."

Paul quickly ordered someone to close the villa's gate, while Vincent was so scared that he hurried back into the villa. At this moment, there was no desire for him to be outside.

There were still a few security personnel inside the Miller family villa, but facing a force of two to three hundred people, they were completely powerless. One spit from each of them could probably drown these security guards.

After closing the gate, Paul once again dialed Diego's phone. It rang several times, but no one answered. This made a sinister chill rise in his heart. In addition, William's unscathed appearance here only increased his fear and unease.

"It seems that Diego's mission failed!" Thinking of this, a cold sweat broke out on Paul's forehead, and he nearly stumbled.

William brought so many people here; they were probably here to seek revenge on him! What should he do? He no longer had any security personnel by his side.

He knew they cannot stop them at all.

"Dad, William and his people are here, what should we do now?" Vincent's face was pale with fear. He never could have imagined that the once poorly dressed William would have such immense power.

If only he had known, Vincent wouldn't have provoked him. He wouldn't have competed with him for Chanel lipstick. Then, their family wouldn't be in this mess.

"This is all your fault." Paul slapped Vincent directly. If he hadn't provoked William, none of this would have happened, and the Miller family wouldn't have fallen to such a state.

"Dad, I didn't know he was this powerful! If I had known, I wouldn't have messed with him," Vincent said, covering his face and showing a terrified expression.

"You're ruining the Miller family," Paul regretfully cursed. It was his fault for not properly teaching his son, allowing Vincent to act recklessly and now he has provoked the wrong person!

While Paul was speaking, the front door of the grand mansion suddenly burst open. William, Antony, Baca, Levi, and the Foster family, along with their subordinates, stormed in.

Filled with murderous intent!

"Hello there!" William said coldly, his tone carrying a chill.

"What do you want, William?" Paul dared not even catch his breath. He was already in a state of shock by the recent turn of events, but he managed to forc himself to stay calm.

"What else could I want? Of course, to acquire the Miller Group. However, I will give you your dignity. I offer you $10 million, a full acquisition of all the Miller family's assets," William said without hesitation.

Despite the loss of Flow Hotel and GUY Club, the remaining Miller family assets were still worth billions of dollars. It was audacious to think that a mere $10 million could acquire them in full.

Vincent immediately disagreed and stepped forward, yelling madly, "William, are you insane? $10 million to acquire our assets? Impossible!"

"Vincent, do you see the current situation?" William said with a faint smile.

Upon hearing this, Vincent subconsciously glanced at the large army of two or three hundred people standing behind William, and his throat went dry. He was scared into silence!

"William, I surrender this time. However, you will never buy my assets for $10 million, not even if I die!" Paul said, taking a small knife from a drawer next to him and pressing it against his own neck.

Paul was about to...

After dominating the North district for decades, he had never suffered such a humiliating defeat. This was his last shred of dignity.

"Dad, what are you doing? Put the knife down!" Vincent was terrified. If his father died, Vincent would be nothing but a worthless dog, completely abandoned.

"William, give me a bit of dignity, or let me die!" Paul's plea to William was almost begging. He wanted to lose with some dignity, rather than being publicly humiliated by a direct acquisition worth ten million dollars.

William was surprised by Paul's determination and even felt a hint of admiration.

"Paul, you do have some backbone! Alright, I will give you a dignified way to lose! I can arrange an exchange of shares, allowing you to remain as the chairman of the Miller Group. However, the Power Group will have control over 80% of the Miller Group's shares, and in return, you will receive a 1% stake in the Power Group."

"By announcing it this way, you will at least have preserved a hint of dignity. But if you dare to have any ulterior motives, I can have someone replace you as chairman at any time. Behave yourself!" After saying these words, William left first, leaving the specific matters to be handled by Antony.

Paul, on the other hand, slumped to the ground upon hearing this. From this point onwards, the Miller family's prestige in the North district was gone. He became a pitiful dog begging for mercy in front of Antony and would now always have to worry about being replaced as chairman.

Thus, through the share exchange, the three major families of the North district were all acquired by the Power Group, becoming subordinate entities. The Miller family, the Harrison family, and the Bell family all had to obey Antony's management.

The next day, when the local financial news broke the latest development, the entire New York business circle was shocked. The Power Group's influence had reached its pinnacle, and no one in New York dared to provoke Antony anymore.
