Chapter 147 Overwhelming Advantages
Although William and the others had captured Bund, they were now surrounded by Isaac and his men, with the large wolf dog barking beside them. Breaking through would be nearly impossible.
"William, what do we do now?" Kayla was both shocked and afraid, especially when she saw the wolf dog barking at her.
"It's alright, don't be afraid!" William smiled faintly and then stood in front of her protectively.
"You bastard! Release Bund now, or I'll have my men cut you down!" Isaac pointed at William and roared angrily.
Daring to cause trouble on his turf? They must not want to live anymore.
"Today, I must take Bund away. Isaac, I advise you to clear a path, or else I will destroy you too," William stepped forward and boldly declared.
Upon hearing this, the whole room burst into laughter. There were only three of them, while Isaac had around sixty people. It was clear who was stronger. This person actually dared to threaten them arrogantly! What a joke!
"Haha, you're the ones surrounded by us, yet you dare to threaten me? You must be an idiot! Can't you see the situation?" Isaac mocked loudly.
Even Kayla thought William was just bluffing, realizing that they were doomed this time.
"Is that so?" William calmly responded.
However, at that moment, one of Isaac's subordinates rushed in frantically from outside. Before the person arrived, his panicked voice reached them.
"Something's wrong, something's wrong."
The subordinate ran over and received a slap from Isaac, who angrily shouted, "What are you babbling about? What's wrong? Speak clearly."
"Levi! He's here!" the junior member said, covering his face in fear.
"What? Levi? Are you sure you saw him? How many people did he bring?" Isaac exclaimed in shock.
Levi was ruthless, and more importantly, he had a lot of associates. Even though he had started running legitimate businesses in recent years under Antony's influence, he still held power on the streets, and no one dared to provoke him.
"A lot, probably over two hundred people! Our guys at the entrance couldn't hold them back, and he barged in," the subordinate said in a panic, truthfully answering without daring to hide anything.
"Over two hundred people? Are you sure?" Isaac was also greatly alarmed. He had no social connections with Levi, so why would he go all out to trap him?
"Let's go, I want to see it with my own eyes!" Isaac couldn't believe it.
"No need, I came in on my own." Levi, tall and sturdy, casually threw a dead wolfhound to the side, startling Isaac and his group.
"How did you find time to come here today!" Isaac suppressed his shock and walked over to greet Levi. However, he realized that Levi completely ignored him, which left him feeling humiliated. But considering Levi had numerous subordinates, Isaac could only swallow his pride.
Levi ignored Isaac and instead scanned the crowd, eventually fixing his gaze on William, who was surrounded in the center.
"Make way for me." Levi's face turned grim as he led his men toward William. Isaac's subordinates, frightened by Levi's imposing entrance, quickly made way for him.
"Mr. Brown, sorry for keeping you waiting," Levi spoke respectfully as he approached William.
Seeing this, everyone was shocked. Even Kayla was taken aback. Levi had come specifically for William, and judging by his respectful attitude, it was apparent that William had an extremely powerful background.
"This person, what kind of background does he have to make Levi show such deference?" Isaac, wide-eyed and incredulous, couldn't believe it. He had thought victory was in his grasp, but now with Levi's appearance, the situation had completely reversed. No wonder that guy was so calm- he had come prepared!
Bund, who had been captured, turned pale, feeling a sense of inexplicable dread.
"Isaac, today I'm taking Bund with me. Are you still going to stop me?" William took a step forward and spoke calmly, leaving no room for argument in his tone.
Isaac's forehead broke into a cold sweat. On one hand, it was his brother, and on the other hand, it was Levi, whom he couldn't afford to offend.
Levi, sensing Isaac's hesitation, threatened him, "If Mr. Brown wants to take this person away, do you have any objections? If you don't agree, then we'll have to take him forcefully, and if your men get hurt in the process, don't blame me."
This remark was three parts threat and seven parts warning. Isaac trembled in fear, casting a glance at the two hundred people brought by Levi. He swallowed a mouthful of saliva but still couldn't make up his mind.
Seeing that Isaac remained silent, William took it as his agreement and directly instructed Sharon to push Bund forward, with Levi making way for them. Isaac could only watch helplessly as William took Bund away.
Seeing Isaac backing down, Bund knew he couldn't rely on him anymore. He screamed, "Levi, I am a member of the Bell family. Before you lay a finger on me, you must consider the consequences."
Now, he could only rely on the power of his family to scare them away. However, William didn't regard the Bell family highly at all. "If the Bell family wants someone, they can come to me," William said with a smile.
"You bastard, you really have the audacity! People from the Bell family will come to save me. You better not regret it then," Bund warned loudly. He held numerous dark secrets of the Bell family, so they couldn't possibly give up on him.
"Behave, or else I will cut out your tongue!" Sharon grew impatient and slapped Bund, leaving half of his face swollen.
Bund, pressured by William's men, was taken away. Isaac wanted to stop them but lacked the courage. In the end, he could only let William take Bund away.
Seeing Isaac being suppressed by Levi's power and not daring to move, Kayla felt a slight relief in her heart. It was evident how astonishing William's identity was. Even Levi was obeying him!
However, she still had some worries. The Bell family was a powerful clan.
"I underestimated him!" Kayla murmured as she watched William's figure disappear.
Under Levi's escort, William successfully brought Bund outside, while Isaac could only watch helplessly as Bund was taken away. But he immediately called the Bell family to inform them.
"This person is truly seeking death! How dare he capture someone from the Bell family? He's digging his own grave!"
After coming outside, William handed Bund over to Levi.
"For now, keep Bund with you and interrogate him. Find out who funded him to cause trouble at the Ron Real Estate construction site." William thought for a moment and found it more appropriate to give Bund to Levi.
After all, Bund was skilled in fighting, and keeping him close would be beneficial. And if one wasn't careful, he would run away.
"Rest assured, Mr. Brown, I will definitely keep a close watch on him and will not let him escape. I will make sure he speaks the truth," Levi said seriously, not daring to neglect William's instructions.
"Hmm, but don't kill him. I have great use for this person," William instructed him again. Bund had done so many bad things, so it's clear that many people were after him. Moreover, the Bell family would definitely try their best to protect him.
After all, he was still valuable to the Bell family. Bund held many secrets of the Bell family, so they wouldn't give up on him easily. If they wanted to protect him, then they should exchange something for him!
After putting in so much effort to catch Bund, there had to be a reward. Thinking of this, William smiled faintly!
